Dolehide Named Tennis Assistant Coach

Georgetown University Head Men’s and Women’s Tennis Coach Gordie Ernst has named Courtney Dolehide the new assistant coach for both squads for the 2017-18 school year. Dolehide comes to the Hilltop from the University of Texas where she was an assistant coach for three seasons. Dolehide will assist Ernst in all aspects of both the men’s and women’s programs.



Beatty Named All-BIG EAST

Georgetown University men’s tennis junior Peter Beatty (Portland, Ore./Middlesex School) was named All-BIG EAST Conference by the league office on Friday. This is his second-career postseason honor.

The seventh-seeded Georgetown University men's tennis team knocked off second-seeded St. John's on Friday by a score of 4-2. With the win, the Hoyas move on to the BIG EAST Tournament semifinals where they will face third-seeded Butler at 9 a.m. on Saturday.

The Georgetown University men’s and women’s tennis teams will open play at the 2017 Men’s and Women’s BIG EAST Tennis Championships on Friday in Cayce, S.C., at the Cayce Tennis and Fitness Center. The Hoya women earned the No. 3 seed in the championship, while the men are the No. 7 seed.
