Georgetown University baseball alum David Ellingson (MSB'17) left the Hilltop to join the professional ranks following his junior year. A year and a half later, the Seattle Mariners' prospect received his degree from Georgetown, just one semester after his original expected graduation date. Weisenberg Selected to All-BIG EAST Preseason Team

Georgetown University baseball junior third baseman Ryan Weisenberg has been named to the All-BIG EAST Preseason Team, as announced by the conference offices on Tuesday. The preseason team was voted on by the league’s coaches, who could not vote for their own players.

Georgetown University baseball alum Tim Adleman (N’10) made his major league debut on May 1, 2016 for the Cincinnati Reds, becoming just the second Hoya to play in the major leagues in the past 50 years. He completed his second big league season in 2017 and, in November, signed a contract to play next season overseas for the Samsung Lions in the KBO League.

Hoyas Announce 2018 Schedule

Georgetown University Baseball Head Coach Pete Wilk has announced the team's 2018 schedule for the upcoming spring. The Hoyas will play 22 home games at Shirley Povich Field and will have 15 contests against six programs that qualified for the 2017 NCAA Tournament, including two teams that advanced to the Super Regionals.
