Senior guard Brianna Cummings is getting set to begin her final season with George Washington women's basketball this fall. The Lawrenceville, Georgia, native is one of GW's most experienced players with 32 career starts across 92 games over her first three seasons. Earlier this week, she named to the Atlantic 10 Preseason All-Defensive Team and will help lead a team that features six returning players and six newcomers.

The George Washington University Department of Athletics and Recreation proudly unveiled during Colonials Weekend eight individuals who will comprise the GW Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2018. Kimberly Beck (women’s basketball), Kristin Davidson (women’s soccer), Gene Guarilia (men’s basketball), Megan Hogan (women’s cross country), Yegor Mescheriakov (men’s basketball), Matt Osbourne (men’s soccer), Mary Jo Warner (administration) and Tim Zebroski (baseball) will comprise the 2018 Class. When they are officially inducted during Homecoming Weekend on February 3, 2018, the GW Athletic Hall of Fame will see its membership rise to 168.
