Tue, 22 Nov 2016 23:26:00 EST“I love the resiliency. We should be proud of how we fought. We have to understand that we can’t dig ourselves into this deep of a hole, with this good of a team and expect to win. You expend all of that energy trying to claw your way back, and we did that and we did a really great job of that, but we were kind of gassed towards the end and couldn’t finish the job. It was a great learning experience for us. All of these wins and all of these losses are all going to be learning experiences for us. We’re a young team. We have to continue to learn from these experiences and hopefully it pays dividends come A-10 season.”

Mon, 21 Nov 2016 23:32:00 EST"I thought that for a big part of the game we did a great job. We were neck and neck there, a bunch of lead changes. I thought down the stretch there were a couple plays that cost us the offensive rebound. Little plays here and there that I think cost us the game, but again, Tyler said it best: This is a great learning experience for us to understand the value of every single possession throughout the course of the game. If we can lock in for 40 minutes and put 40 minutes together we can be a pretty good team, but we've got to get there. We've got to get there and these young guys have got to learn the value of every shot, of every screen, of every cut, of every pass. It's that crucial. That's what winning or losing comes down to. I think once we can get that, we'll be in good shape."

Thu, 17 Nov 2016 22:21:00 ESTIt’s a learning process. We’re young, but we just need to keep getting better. The first half was ugly, but I thought we came out to start the second half better and extended the lead. They’re a scrappy team, so we just have to make some more shots and we’ll be fine. But it was nice to see everyone get involved because everyone works just as hard every day, so that’s important.
