Men's Basketball Taps Out vs. Saint Louis

Thu, 08 Mar 2018 23:43:00 EDT

In an ending unbefitting for the glorious career that Yuta Watanabe enjoyed at GW, the senior star was forced to watch the final eight-plus minutes from the bench after being taken down hard attempting to score in a physical affair in the second round of the Atlantic 10 Championships. While Watanabe tried to gut out a painful attempt to run and try to re-enter the fray, a tender ankle wouldn't allow it and his decorated collegiate career came to an end at Capital One Arena, an NBA-venue that the multi-faceted swingman aspires to frequent at the next level in the years to come.
