Sat, 17 Feb 2018 19:34:00 EST

WASHINGTON -- In a series that hasn't always been kind to GW, including a cruel twist of fate against VCU in last year's match-up at the Smith Center, the Colonials were long overdue for a fun one. On the shoulders of Yuta Watanabe, GW found the fun and thoroughly enjoyed a well-rounded, resounding win against the visiting Rams.

Go-To Guy

Thu, 08 Feb 2018 13:30:00 EST

Maurice Joseph took a glance at the box score in his hand and cracked a grin.

Of course, the GW head coach was pleased with Yuta Watanabe's career-high 29 points in Wednesday's 80-69 win over La Salle, but he was just as excited about the career-high 20 shots it took his senior standout to get there.
