I thought the guys really followed the theme as last week. Great energy. Practiced with some confidence. It is the second one of this week. So, we will just continue to remind them that you have to play every week. I think they are starting to understand that. They feel good about the way they played the last couple of weeks in those games, but this is obviously the best conference team we have played so far. Arguably, the best team in the conference by the way they are playing now on both sides of the ball. We will have our hands full with that, but we just have to keep getting better. I’m proud of how they are practicing but we have a long ways to go.

Thursday’s practice was the final practice of the bye week for the Owls, who sit atop the Conference USA East Division standings. The Owls battled through showers for most of practice, restarted after one weather delay, and ended the day following another. Despite the weather interruptions and delays, FAU moved through each of its scheduled drills.
