After hitting a rough patch midway through Round 2, Colorado State golfer Katrina Prendergast finished strong on Tuesday to card a 4-over 76. Two-thirds through play, Prendergast is at 6-over 146 and is near the upper-third of the NCAA Regionals field.

A big day became bigger for Colorado State women’s golfer Katrina Prendergast. Hours after receiving an invitation to compete as an individual at NCAA Regionals, Prendergast was named to the All-Mountain West second team. The accolade is Prendergast’s second in as many seasons, also receiving the honor as a true freshman in 2016.

Colorado State will close the 2016-17 women's golf season at the 2017 Mountain West Championship in Rancho Mirage, Calif. The three-day tournament will feature nine MW teams, and will be played out over three 18-hole rounds, beginning Monday morning (rounds will begin at 8 a.m. MT each day). The tournament is held at Dinah Shore Tournament Course at Mission Hills Country Club (par 72; 6,270 yardage).
