Haley Black, Erin Faloner and Joe Patching each scored a fourth-place finish as the 2017 SEC Swimming and Diving Championships passed the halfway point on Thursday night. With two days remaining, both of Auburn's teams stand in third place, the women with 493 points and the men with 495.5 points.

Auburn will swim for individual championships in four events on Thursday night as prelims of the 2017 SEC Swimming and Diving Championships continued Thursday morning. Joe Patching (400 IM) and Luis Martinez (100 fly) will swim for men’s titles while Haley Black (100 fly), Bailey Nero (100 fly) and Erin Falconer (200 free) will vie for a women’s individual title.

Women’s S&D named Scholar All-America Team

Auburn’s women’s swimming and diving program has been named a College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America Scholar All-America Team. The award is in recognition of teams that achieved a grade point average of 3.0 or higher during the 2016 fall semester.
