The Armchair Quarterback: Thoughts

Tue, 26 May 2009 10:43:39 -0400

I choose to take some time off writing the Armchair QB. I wanted to come up with something different for the offseason. Instead of writing about spring ball, the latest transgressions of NCAA football players, I want to write about what is on my mind these days. Without further adieu, here I go…

FemmeFan Weekly: Texas Longhorns Get Dethroned!

Fri, 7 Nov 2008 11:00:36 -0400

While everyone believed that the number one ranked Texas Longhorns were the favorites to win Saturday night against their rivals number seven ranked Texas Tech Red Raiders, the game did not go according to plan, well, not for the Longhorns. Florida, last year's national champs, will begin this season No.1 in both the AP and Coaches' preseason polls...

Heisman Trophy Watch

Sat, 11 Nov 2006 15:06:34 -0400

As I've been saying for weeks now, this year's Heisman winner will be won by one of two QBs, Ohio State's Troy Smith or Notre Dame's Brady Quinn. Quinn has the much better numbers lately but it shouldn't go unnoticed that the Irish haven't exactly faced "Murderers Row"...
