– The second of a new approach workshop by the WOMEN/BUSINESS/ANGELS association and its coalition partners was held with 80 participants (full house!) in the Kaptár Community Office in Budapest November 28, 2017. The series of workshops is designed to encourage women to want and be able to be involved in an increasing number in innovation-related business decision making. Hungary’s competitiveness and growth potential could be greatly improved by widening the pool of female entrepreneurs and angel investors. The collective take-away from the first workshop (w/ 20% men) was that the number of business angels can be increased through network and training. With that in mind, the second workshop provided an insight into two life strategies: how you can build your own innovative financial business, and how you can create companies in Hungary while pursuing your career at a global enterprise. “The Hungarian “angel training” model created by the WOMEN/BUSINESS/ANGELS Coalition working together with HunBAN is designed to be a trend-setting, networked economy-building process. Ed-Co Approves Agreements for New Windows and Lights

The ed-Co School District will be getting new windows in its high school and elementary buildings. The School Board approved an agreement with Martin-Gardner Architects during a special board meeting recently. The bid was for just under 20-thousand dollars. The Board also approved an agreement with Sitler’s for LED lights in the Colesburg gym at a cost of just over five-thousand dollars. This ten week league is open to all adults 18 yrs and older of both genders. For the first 20 min of each half the game will observe running time, for the remaining 2 minutes of each half, stop time. 1 minute halftime. Players : Each team starts 4 players and 1 gk. Each team must sign up a minimum of 7 players to join the league. Mixed Gender . Each team must have at least 2 of 5 players/gk of the opposite gender/gender identity on the court at all times. A team must also start with 5 players. If a team fails to either at the start of the game, a one goal penalty is given and 10 minutes wait period is given. After the 10 minutes, if the team fails to have the right amount of starters, the game is forfeited. A team may finish a game with less than 5 players on the court due to injury or ejection.
