Dak Prescott visits in East Texas for good cause

At this time last year, a guy by the name of Dak Prescott was still on the draft board. In fact, the Mississippi State star didn't hear his named called until Saturday during the fourth round. Luckily for the Cowboys, Prescott turned out to be the hidden gem of the 2016 draft class. The NFL AP rookie of the year was in Longview Friday night for a fundraiser supporting the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Big Pines.

UT-Tyler softball falls to UT-Dallas

Man arrested for murder of woman found dead in Longview apartment

A man has been arrested and charged with the death of Ivory Wilson, 57. Today, Darrell Wayne Wilson, 58, of Marshal was charged with the murder of Ivory. Back in February, Ivory Wilson's body was discovered inside an apartment in the 600 block of Avalon Avenue in Longview. Major injuries reported at League Street, Wildcat Way in Sulphur Springs

Sulphur Springs officials have confirmed with KLTV there has been a multi-vehicle accident at League Street and Wildcat Way.  Police say two medical helicopters have been launched and have confirmed with KLTV that there are major injuries.  Police are asking travelers to avoid the area and to watch for emergency vehicles and responders. Two men charged with aggravated robbery in connection with a Longview bank robbery, have been indicted. The robbery occurred at the Austin Bank in Longview, on February 9. When officers arrived on scene they were told that two men had come into the location and demanded money from the teller. They then fled from the scene. Drug raid next to Kilgore college results in several arrests
