Dilemma, what should we do? Sun, 08 Nov 2009 04:38:10 GMT Our family (Me, DH, DS2, My mom, My Brother) went on our first DCL cruise in Sept 09. It was just a 3-nighter. We all liked it very much and would love to cruise again. Only problem is, we are cheap, lol. We'd like to do more than just 3-4 nights though since the 3 nights was just not long...
Alaska cruise verandah Sun, 08 Nov 2009 04:16:24 GMT We plan on going on the Alaska cruise in 2011 and are wondering about the benefits of our own veranda. I understand a lot of time is spent on deck looking at scenery, but if we had our own verandah, would it be so much better comfort wise, or would we miss a lot?
Airport Transfers... Sun, 08 Nov 2009 04:16:07 GMT Do you get on the bus in order of your flight? We disembark according to early/late seating correct? Then do you just line up or.....what? Thanks.
How much do you tip....(excursion) Sun, 08 Nov 2009 04:11:38 GMT for the Couples Massage at Castaway Cay? Thanks.
Onboard Airline Check in? Sun, 08 Nov 2009 04:09:57 GMT What if there is a luggage fee like most airlines have now......when do we pay that? And how? Thanks.
Dream July 2011 Sun, 08 Nov 2009 01:47:09 GMT I've seen a lot of people asking about July, Which I'm interested in too! But, on the main pricing thread there are no July dates! So, does this mean they are booked, or are close to booked with those of you CC members with pivi's that us new peeps don't have? I'm a newbie and am looking to do...
Can we bring our own portable crib? Sat, 07 Nov 2009 23:47:45 GMT Wondering if it's ok to bring our own portable mini crib on the cruise--DS doesn't sleep too well in a pack n play. Is that allowed?
Am I totally insane for booking a multi-family trip? Sat, 07 Nov 2009 23:37:59 GMT My DH thinks I am totally insane. :rotfl2: I plan to book (via TA) on Monday (11/9) a 5-night cruise on the Dream for May/June 2011... for me, DH, DD, my mom, MIL, FIL, SIL, BIL, and their DD... plus I have invited my DD's godmother and her mom (is that her great-godmother? lol). In fact, I'm...
Movies on 3-night wonder Sat, 07 Nov 2009 23:32:12 GMT we sail on 11/22 on 3 night wonder. I was trying to find out if and when and where they announce the movies that will be playing. TIA
Christmas-y Fish Extender idea Sat, 07 Nov 2009 23:24:17 GMT I don't know if this is a legal post or not (please delete if so) but while looking thru a catalog I saw a Christmas Card holder for sale that would double as a perfect Fish Extender for those in the Christmas spirit aboard an upcoming cruise. Dimensions are 7.25" x 25". Looks exactly like a FE...
Decisions, decisions... what would you do? Sat, 07 Nov 2009 23:03:07 GMT So I have to make a decision... Not sure what to do.... We are cruising in some fashion in September 2010. The kids (12 and 5) are on fall break, and we are celebrating our 18th wedding anniversary - so we are locked to a week (sort of...) - September 18th. Anyway, we were just given a huge gift...
Courtesy Hold on DD ressie Sat, 07 Nov 2009 22:57:44 GMT This may seem like a trival question. If I decide to book myself 3 staterooms on Monday for the Dream cruise that I would like, can I still get a courtesy hold put on my staterooms through DCL like my TA promised or is that only a travel agent perk? On a side note, if I do get that hold,...
3 Adults - 1 cabin or 2? Sat, 07 Nov 2009 22:56:24 GMT I have been regularly taking my parents to WDW since 2005. I've finally decided to take the plunge and try cruising. Naturally, it will be a Disney Cruise :wizard:. I am looking to book for October 2010 a Western Cruise. Where I'm stuck is do I book 2 cabins or 1? Normally we stay at a deluxe...
other cruise lines? Sat, 07 Nov 2009 22:24:07 GMT Has anyone cruised Royal Caribbean? The reason I ask is that we have only cruised Disney, and love it! We are considering a Royal Caribbean summer cruise because the price & destination match our needs better then the Disney summer cruise. We will be travelling with my parents, 6 other adults, &...
SHUTTERS Help needed Asap! Sat, 07 Nov 2009 21:18:26 GMT Just got off the wonder two days ago, arrived home today. I purchased the photo cd while on board and picked it up from shutters within minutes of disembarking. I had no time to review what was on the cd while on board. The CM in charge there (blond lady, can't remember her name, but very nice... |
