This position will be based in Martabe and report directly to the Tax Supervisor. The role of the Tax Accountant is to perform daily tax activities; Monthly & Annual tax reporting, reconciliation of all general ledger tax account, and maintain fixed asset register for tax purposes.
Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:

Formal qualifications in Accounting/taxation.

Minimum 4 years of relevant working experience in taxation area.

Compliance Officer
The Role
The incumbent will be responsible for processing SIP (scientific initiate program) proposal, and reviewing appropriateness of SIP in line with applicable SOP and code of conducts. The incumbent is also responsible for front end monitoring review of RTD (round table discussion)/ symposium expenses and managers expense reports in relation with SDP (small discussion program) and SIP. Supporting Compliance Manager in related duties is also expected, including implementing compliance program, delivering compliance training, and acting as a compliance consultant for employees.
The Person
Minimum S1 degree in Accounting / Business from reputable university with at least GPA 3,0 (scale of 4). Minimum 2 years experience supervisory level in accounting / auditing, or other related working areas. Pharmaceutical experience in multinational company would be an advantage. Computer literacy and proficiency in English is a must.
Applicants should possess strong analytical thinking, high attention to detail, strong numeric skills, good communication and interpersonal skills, business acumen, flexible thinking, high energy and positive ambition.

Job Responsibilities:
1.
Playing a key role in the finance team and covering financial reporting, tax compliance, invoices coordination, financial analysis and metrics reports to meet management requirements.
2.
Delivery of high integrity and accuracy of financial reports.
3.
Assisting on improvement to relevant financial policies, procedures and streamlining of processes and workflows within systems.
4.
Daily communication and coordination with all systems for information gathering/ catch up and verification;
5.
Coordination with banks, tax authorities and finance bureau, etc.
6.
Undertaking any other accounting or financial assignments as assigned.
Key Requirement:
1.
Advanced degree with major in Accounting or Taxation. Accounting & Tax qualification holders are preferred.
2.
At least 5 years of accounting experience in MNC.
3.
Detail oriented and capability to take challenging assignments and motivation for long term development.
4.
Well spoken English and professional business English and fluency in Mandarin is an advantage.
