After two years of happy self employment, I surprised myself last week and took a permanent job with Cerisent.
It's going to take the CA DMV "a month" to reprogram its computers to use the new reduced VLF rate. This is the same rate we had til about 6 months ago. One wonders why they can't "cvs update -r PRE_RATE_HIKE"!
A friend just set up a new site. As he said, " I know this is cool - because I will use this. Everyone I describe it

Today's a big day for me. I'm jumping on the RSS-reading bandwagon. It reminds me of my first time with email or browsing the web.
The Wonders of the WristWand
I woke up this morning with wrist pain, used the WristWand to get rid of it, and realized I should probably spread the word about this wonderful tool.

Turns out there is a Java-based Blogger tool; it's named "Roller" and available as open source. David Johnson writes an introductory article.
