totally over-rated. Feigns 'friendliness' but if you try to sing, outside of allocated hours, you are silenced.
It seemed to me as though they desire ' Stepford' drinkers ie- fill a seat but comply.( leave your personality outside)
I was amazed that the toilet-facilities are deemed suitable by health-inspectors! - Alec James Mcmullen, Chicago, U.S.A.

Coming in from Detroit, USA I was looking for a pub full of locals instead of tourists, this place is a gold mine, the locals are the best, I felt welcome from the start, the Beamish on tap was the best I've tried, maybe it's the proper way to pour by Vinnie. A lot of history to the place and the owner will fill you in, I met some of the nicest people in all of Ireland, the O'Donnels, (Lynda and Liam) gave me a list of places to see along with where to eat and even the best food to order, awesome, I had breakfast at the "All Day Breakfast", just a short walk from the pub, a traditional Irish breakfast that was very good, if you get lost just ask anyone along the way, more than helpful. The music in the pub was provided by an off duty cop who plays a mean guitar, very good, I can't say enough about the place or the customers that I met, a true Irish gem, The Welcome Inn, I'll be back.
