Hi guys! I am planning to go to South Africa in October/November. I would like to ask thouse who'ce been/lived there for some info. I am not going to ask about where I should go or what should I see, or how to get from point A to B. I would like to know your opinion on travelling around SA as a solo female. Also about camping, hitchiking and driving around. Are roads busy? Is it easy to find help if ... [Posted by JLav - Mar 06, 14:06]

Overstay Ban South Africa

Sat, 04 Mar 2017 09:09:38 GMT

Is there anyone who has experience in trying to enter South Africa prior a overstay ban has been lifted, on a new or additional passport? It seems way too simple, but is it possible? How great is the risk that the airport immigration will pick up the old passport you were banned on somewhere out of the scan base (if there is any). Anyone knows? ... Southern Europe/North Africa September 2017

Mon, 27 Feb 2017 07:44:52 GMT

Hi everybody I'm looking to spend the month of September going Italy-Malta-Tunisia-Algeria-Morocco-Spain, with North Africa being the main focus of the trip and Spain and Italy being the entry and exit points. There's a lot I want to see but I have a lot to narrow down. Also, I don't speak French or Arabic. If anybody has any recommendations on the following, I'd really appreciate it: 1.) Does anybody have a reliable source on the security situation in Tunisia and Algeria? It's ... [Posted by cjohnv - Feb 26, 23:44]

Tradition and Marriage

Thu, 16 Feb 2017 14:32:55 GMT

My boyfriend and I have a major dilemma. My boyfriend was born in Gambia, but has been an American citizen for over 15 years. His family is pressuring him to marry a woman in Gambia so that means he can't be with me. He said, if he doesn't go with his tradition, then bad things can happen not only to him, but his family too. He literally has no choice but to succomb to his culture and it's not fair. ... Any thoughts on Wadi Rum?

Thu, 02 Feb 2017 02:53:02 GMT

My husband and I are thinking of doing a trip to Jordan in October, and would like to include a short stay - probably just one night - in Wadi Rum. There are quite a few camps, ranging from basic to luxury, and I wondered whether anyone has any experience of any of them, that they would either recommend or were disappointed by? We're more interested in finding a good overall experience, rather than especially looking for a particular standard of ... [Posted by Tabithag - Feb 01, 18:53]
