Of the many things that you take with you on tour, sometimes there are specific things that you either forgot back at home or you didn't consider bringing along. I'm doing some of my own research in terms of goodies tourists most often bring or most often forget to bring. Mozambique - Any advice or thoughts

Hi, We're in the early stages of planning our holiday for Christmas 2017. We only get two weeks over that period (girlfriend is a teacher) but are looking at Mozambique as a potential destination. We're keen divers and trekkers and wondering if anyone has any tips/advice for Mozambique at that time of year - especially if you know much about diving there over late December (Probably a selection from Tofo Beach, Bazaruto Archipelago, Maputo, Pemba areas)? Hey guys Remember me!! One time forum admin of TP! Anyway still travelling & going to Sri Lanka in November. Spending 8 days travelling around centre - Sigiriya, Dambulla, Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Udawalawe & Galle. Then 7 days chill out coastal resort at Katuturunda. Indeed doing some hiking Worlds End/Adams Peak too. But any recommendations?? Not to be missed? What about food? Local specialities food & drinks? My husband and I are planning our first trip to Africa (Kenya and Tanzania, specifically) to coincide with our 30th wedding anniversary. This itinerary was proposed by my daughter the travel agent (who has been to Africa) and Ranger Safaris, a local Tanzanian operator.
