Sun, 26 Mar 2017 03:30:28 GMT

Hey all! I am a 20-year-old female and I am going to be taking my first solo-trip (in general) to Japan from May 17-24. I have a week in Japan and have friends studying abroad in the Tokyo area so I believe I mainly want to stay around Tokyo and possibly take day trips out or at most a night or 2 away. I am looking for possible travel companions and at any and all recommendations for places to stay, things ... [Posted by Feylix - Mar 25, 19:30]

Thailand, Myanmar, Loas, Vietnam, Cambodia.

Wed, 22 Mar 2017 16:20:20 GMT

Greetings friends. In early October of this year myself and 2 friends will be leaving the US for a 4-5 month trip to mainland South East Asia. I hope to start conversation in regards to logistics planning and budget travel tips. Ill start with saying my buget is about 50 USD per day. I realize some areas/countries may require more for what we wish to do, but the hope is that it will balance out in cheaper areas. And if ... [Posted by Dawgfather - Mar 22, 08:20]

Wed, 22 Mar 2017 05:21:55 GMT

Hello ! If you're planning a trip to Cambodia, don't forget to stay a few days at Battambang City ! I've stayed there during my travel accross Cambodia, and as an art lover, I was delighted by this little city. The main attraction is the circus school Phare, where you can enjoy a fabulous circus show made by the students ! There are also few galleries ( Romcheik Pram, Tep Kao Sol, Lotus ...), exhibiting local artists. I've booked a ... [Posted by nastasia22 - Mar 21, 21:21]

Freelance guide/tour to Mongolia Gobi desert

Sat, 18 Mar 2017 23:48:17 GMT

Hello, I have 10 days to spend in Mongolia this upcoming Easter and I am interested in a trip in the desert. It is not hard to browse the net for Gobi desert tours, but I am a person who do not like if it is too touristy and carefully tailored for tourist needs, but rather have it more gritty and "real" experience even if its a bit uncomfortable and challenging. I would therefore be interested in locating something more of a ... [Posted by banders - Mar 18, 15:48]

Dushanbe Grand Mosque

Sat, 18 Mar 2017 20:37:26 GMT

Hey. Does anybody know if the Grand Mosque in Dushanbe has been completed / is open yet? I read one report that it was completed in 2016 and I've seen plenty of artists impressions - which look spectacular - but weirdly, there is not a single Google image of the mosque, nothing on Trip Advisor and there are no articles at all on the internet about it at all! It's supposedly the biggest mosque in Central Asia, yet there ... [Posted by Gecko - Mar 18, 12:37]

I am planning to go on vacation this coming June 2017. I am from the Philippines and I wanted to explore outside of my country which makes me think of what place I should visit first. I've had little to no experience in going out of the country. I've only been to Hong Kong for about a week and that was 6 years ago with my family. Dharamshala to Shimla

Tue, 14 Feb 2017 21:54:44 GMT

We're just a couple of incontinent, slightly chubby, aging women who struggle to believe that we're no longer 25. What the hell happened? We're travelling all over, wrapping up the experiences into memories that we can look back on with a smile in the brief interval between middle age and senility. Our rough route through India is very sketchy, but flying into Delhi, Agar, Dharamshala, McLeodganji, Shimla. Delhi. I can't work out how to get from McLeodganji to Shimla; ... Do you have to be a strong swimmer to travel Thailand proper

It might sound like a strange question but... I've signed up to do a tour around the southeast of Thailand with Thai Intro, I'll be traveling around Koh Phangan, Koh Tao and Bangkok - I've never been a strong swimmer, in fact the thought of swimming does make me nervous. Do you think this will be an issue? Or has anyone had this problem in the past? Thanks! ... [Posted by TravelLiberte - Feb 12, 01:21]
