Particulars for travfel

Tue, 20 Sep 2016 20:51:09 GMT

We just got back from Nicaragua and feel we need to write this to warn those who may travel to that country. We have traveled to most of Mexico, El Salvador, Costa Rica and Guatemala to name a few but our experience with Nicaraguans made us very wary on how they treat those who are non whites. We found it outrageous and we think it is only fair that you are warned before you go there. We personally saw a ... [Posted by pointbee9 - Sep 20, 12:51]

Planning a Trip

Sat, 20 Aug 2016 22:18:29 GMT

Hello folks- I am trying to plan a trip to celebrate my graduation from university. I want to visit various countries in Latin America, and have about 1 month to do so, anywhere between mid-May and early August. My Spanish is conversational, so getting around and understanding others won't be an issue. Other than that, I have no ideas or parameters. Anyone have any suggestions for must-see places or fun cities? It will be myself and two other recent graduates, and ... [Posted by hummingbird500 - Aug 20, 14:18]

Are LGBT people socially acceptable in Venezuela?

Thu, 18 Aug 2016 11:52:04 GMT

I have a question. Can someone tell me how do Venezuelans treat LGBT people in their country? I know that Venezuelans aren't factory-made and I know that wharever I go I will meet tolerant and intolerant people. However I would like to know how do Venezuelans (in general) feel about it? If they will see openly gay or lesbian, openly trannsexual are Venezuelans tend to accept this person or condemn? Is it good way to be open in Venezuela? Are ... Pacific coast of mexico

Sat, 23 Jul 2016 19:39:59 GMT

I am currently in Puerto Vallarta but it's not really what I'm looking for. Can anyone help with suggestions of quieter places along the Pacific coast. I want to try and find somewhere that feels more Mexican, some accomodation that's a bit more rustic, and cheaper!, just spend some time swimming, snorkelling, reading, chilling. I know it's a busy time of year so I'm struggling to find accommodations, or should I just go somewhere and hope that there's something available ... [Posted by rachris - Jul 23, 11:39]
