Is 25 too old for travelling?

Sun, 03 Dec 2017 18:04:45 GMT

Hello! I'm Jordan, I'm 25 and I am planning to go travelling round SE Asia and Australia in January 2018! However, I have been worrying (with the help of my parents...) that I am too old to go travelling. My parents say I should be thinking about moving out and settling down at 25, that I should be having 2 week holidays instead. I have a decent job but it is not what I want to do but they think that ... [Posted by jordanlt - Dec 03, 10:04]

Hey all. I have been helping my son with his travel planning for next year. He is starting off in Mexico. I am learning a lot about Mexico. Looks like an amazing place to visit! Wish I was going too ... ;) Anyway, this got me thinking about our time in Belize. Belize is such an interesting place. I hadn't heard of Howler Monkeys before until I was researching Belize. The Howlers were ... [Posted by aussirose - Nov 30, 02:12]

Is traveling a good idea...?

Thu, 30 Nov 2017 01:16:48 GMT

I'm graduating from university in 2018, and I feel much more confused about the future in terms of career than I was before going. There's things I enjoy, but I don't know what I want to do in the future. I haven't taken a year out from education and need at least one year to clear my head. I also realised that I am not ready to settle in a 9-5 routine and have a lot of exploring to do, both ... [Posted by kbahz - Nov 29, 17:16]

MRI scan before flight

Wed, 11 Oct 2017 16:18:48 GMT

Hi! This is making me a little anxious for my next flight in December. I'm scheduled for regular MRIs since I have a brain malformation that requires the doctor watching it once in a while. I'm scheduled for on in early December, my flight is on the 23rd. I've heard of people who were stopped at the airport security after going through scans because radiation was detected. Now, I was always told MRIs don't use radiation, but rather their strong magnetic ... [Posted by rstew2207 - Oct 11, 08:18]

Wizzmor1977 Has recently posted on a different thread: "Quoting Piecar This site is somewhat weighted towards North Americans so it was a safe statement, in my view. Correct locations of uploaded photos

Mon, 18 Sep 2017 00:44:55 GMT

When uploading photos to Travellerspoint, please be careful when entering the location of the photo (address, town or country name). Also check that the correct file is uploaded. One photo uploaded recently identified it as taken in the Cook Islands. The photo depicted a building that is atypical of the ones in the Cook Islands; and the palm trees were atypical as well. On checking, the uploaded photo actually was taken in Morocco in 2009 (it already was in the ... [Posted by berner256 - Sep 17, 16:44]
