Multi-city flights Tickets and hotels Offers

Thu, 19 Apr 2018 13:52:17 GMT

I am planning for a vacation next year flying from the US to London, then to Paris and then come back home. My experience is that -snip- has good prices if I book a bundle deal with flights tickets offers and hotels. I do not know how to do multi-city bundle on the web. I called and was told that multi-city bundle can be done online but she could do this for me over the phone. But of course I ... [Posted by angelamartinusa - Apr 19, 05:52]

What's the best prepay card to use, with the lowest fees?

Fri, 13 Apr 2018 12:36:06 GMT

Hi everyone, I'm going travelling at the beginning of May, travelling to Vietnam, Cambodia, China, and New Zealand. I've been looking at prepay cards, as I don't really fancy taking either my debit or credit cards, as I don't want them to be stolen. I'm leaning toward the WePay prepay card at the moment, but just wondered if any of you would recommend any prepay card over the others, in terms of fees it charges etc. Any advice would be much-appreciated. Thanks! ... [Posted by christiani84 - Apr 13, 04:36]

It's my first time to ride an airplane

Thu, 12 Apr 2018 15:22:45 GMT

I’m going to the states and visit my boyfriend I met in a foreign dating event last year. But, I’m quite nervous, it’s my first time to ride an airplane. They say it’s good inside the plane but still, you cannot deny the uneasiness a first timer will feel. Tell me, what preparations should be done (if there be any). Call me ignorant but I just want to let you know how I feel about this. Should I take some ... [Posted by sunshinesheryl - Apr 12, 07:22]

What was your biggest splurge during your travels?

Tue, 10 Apr 2018 15:27:29 GMT

I see the topic of how to stretch your dollar while travelling come up a lot but despite our efforts there are always going to be some things that you may really want to do that no matter how good a deal you get will still be expensive;). So I am wondering who here has seen something that they really wanted that was outside their usual budget but decided "screw it I'm doing it:razz:" Whether it is staying at high ... I was thinking about my trip to Puerto Rico and how the bad weather meant everything we wanted to do and see was closed or cancelled yet I find myself thinking wouldn't it be nice to go back and try again? So I'm wondering if anyone has ever travelled somewhere and for whatever reason, illness, bad weather, transportation delays etc you found yourself unable to spend a lot of time there or do anything you had wanted to and did it ... Top 3 Weirdest Travel Experiences

Sun, 25 Mar 2018 11:36:18 GMT

Hi fellow travellers, I'm into lists and thus thought it would be fun to compile some really weird travel experiences (including, if known, year and place). Here are my top 3 for a start: 1. 2008, Angkor, Cambodia: A deaf-dumb 14-year old transsexual accosted me and my wife at one of the temples of Angkor, trying to sell us a piece of paper on which he had written his name. 2. 2004, Hanoi, Vietnam: A young girl sat down next to me and ... Thai Airways banning certain passengers from business class

Wed, 21 Mar 2018 03:06:06 GMT

Thai Airways is now banning obese passengers and parents with kids on their laps from business class. They say it is a space issue because the seat belts cannot accommodate a girth wider than 142 cms. Isn't this just crazy though? Surely there should be *more* space in business class, not less? Larger seatbelts are presumably available in e ... [Posted by Peter - Mar 20, 19:06]

Favorite Place to Live

Thu, 15 Mar 2018 16:46:04 GMT

Since I am complet[[ely unable to pick a favorite place and others have a similar problem, lets look at it another way. Assuming sufficient money, where would you like to live for at least a year? (As many years as you like so you can pick more than one) So while I like visiting Venice or NYC, I would absolutely not like to live there. I have moved 14 times since I've been married and have also traveled and spend ... [Posted by greatgrandmaR - Mar 15, 08:46]

What counts as a visit?

Sun, 11 Mar 2018 06:27:04 GMT

OK, so we all know that travelling is not just ticking off countries but I'm sure many members here are often asked, "So how many countries have you visited then?". What do you count as having visited a country (or a region or a place)? If you have to change planes at Riyadh, can you count that as a visit to Saudi Arabia? What about an afternoon wandering around the streets of Monte Carlo; can you tick ... [Posted by Borisborough - Mar 10, 22:27]

Best cities to move to?

Tue, 27 Feb 2018 21:53:03 GMT

Hello everyone, I wanted to get some valuable opinions on various cities throughout the world. I've been living in Dublin for the past 9 months, I loved it at first but have been growing increasingly bored of it for a while now. I'm looking to move to another city, preferably a large one, but am unsure which one to go for. I'm 31, male, outgoing, friendly, independent, single, I work in hospitality but do not have any exceptional qualifications. I am willing ... [Posted by joewest439 - Feb 27, 13:53]

Venice

Mon, 26 Feb 2018 16:39:06 GMT

Dear travellers, I am an undergraduate university student completing a research assignment on digital innovation solution for impact on environmental and cultural aspects due to tourism in Venice. This is only an idea, it is not something which will be implemented in Venice in reality. it is only for assignment purposes. One of the key issues with Venice is shown to be over-crowdedness and environmental & cultural impacts due to tourism. The environmental impact is from cruise ships. This ...
