Sat, 26 Nov 2016 07:57:44 GMT

Hi all, I have been looking to create a google adsense account and I've found that I need to be a full member here before I am able to do so. Does anybody know if that is exactly right? Or if I can obtain my adsense ID first? I understand that I'll be required to contribute more towards travellerspoint before I am 'promoted' to a full member 😃, im just a baby (budding member) however, I've spotted some people with a ... Hey all! I'm going to Peru/Chila/Argentina/Bolivia from January to June with my partner with £6000 between us ($7380ish) and a big part of our plan is using Workaway and couchsurfing as much as possible to make the trip affordable. We also have a friend in Argentina who said we can stay at theirs which is awesome. We also want to use Workaway because we both really want to experience being part of other communities and getting to know people, not ... [Posted by LittleDragon - Nov 21, 01:52]

Staying fit whilst travelling the world!

Sat, 19 Nov 2016 10:23:13 GMT

Hello Travelers. Do you want access to a local gym whilst travelling the world on a daily basis but can't afford to pay the gym fee's? I am currently undertaking some research to find out how many travelers would like to have access to a local gym in their current area of travel, but can't afford to pay the gym membership fee's for a daily pass, weekly pass etc... So the question I ask is simple. If you could have access to fitness centers ... [Posted by ABlackwell - Nov 19, 02:23]

Travel hacking

Sun, 25 Sep 2016 02:30:51 GMT

I'm new here, looking for info on travel hacking for Canadians. Seems much bigger in the US than in Canada. In the US there is boardingarea.com and they do have a Canadian section, but it is very small with only a couple of decent bloggers who seem like advanced travel hackers. I am looking for something more oriented to beginners... in Canada... Thanks! ... [Posted by tricolporate - Sep 24, 18:30]

First time ever doing a solo trip to another country...

Fri, 23 Sep 2016 16:36:27 GMT

Today I randomly decided to book a 10-day trip to Ireland. I live in the U.S. I'm leaving the US on a Sunday and returning on a Thursday (11 days later). All I am going to bring with me is a backpack...I am going to pack extremely light. I'm not sure yet whether I should book just one hostel for my entire 10 nights, of if I should just book the hostel for maybe 2 - 3 nights, as I do intend ... Just Google'd "I'm having second thoughts about going. . ."

Sun, 11 Sep 2016 05:23:46 GMT

. . .on this trip" and was led to this website and the previous thread on the subject. Being 66 y/o, my parents aren't the problem (I wish they *were* still around to complain!). I'm just so tired from working today, haven't slept, and don't think I have enough money this time. My scheduled Uber arrives in an hour and a half, unless I cancel. I've invested right at $1,000 so far in Airbnb, plane tickets, tours, etc. Your thread has ... [Posted by annsplans - Sep 10, 21:23]

Hello. I am from the UK. I would love to do something like the work away offers they have on: https://www.workaway.info/ I would like to help out on small farms or nature places especially in countrys such as Norway as I would love to see that kind of nature. It would be fun to get to know other ways of living while helping out around the place. My big problem is that I am quite a shy/peaceful person and I'm anxious ...
