Mon, 22 May 2017 13:36:08 GMT

Hi Guys, I was wondering if anyone with Visa application knowledge or experience could help.... My friend is making a visit visa application to visit me in the UK. I have obviously sent him a invitation letter stating that I am inviting him to visit me in my home etc explaining how we met and about our friendship etc. and naturally attached a copy of a scan of my passport to validate my identity. I also want to evidence my previous travel history ... [Posted by Travelmad1 - May 22, 05:36]

Yo Teammates! I very recently flew from Sydney to Melbourne, the flight wasn't full maybe just about three-quarters, Luckily the entire row (3 and 3), i was sitting in was empty, apart from 21 E, right next to my 21 F, a chap sat down, we exchanged pleasant nods, boarding continued. The last remaining passengers filtered on and before we knew it the doors were locked and push back had been commenced. Our row was still empty, so i mentioned to ... more solo travel or settle down?

Thu, 27 Apr 2017 02:06:30 GMT

I'm in my early 30s and having just finished another contracted role at home (in London) about 6 weeks ago I'm out of work now. I've been in this position many times before. Right now I'm trying to make a decision whether to stay in London and keep looking for work or go to a part of the world for 2-3 months that's been on my heart and mind (S America). Having had four interviews in the past 6 weeks, all ... [Posted by shorttermnomad - Apr 26, 18:06]

Every Traveler Has a Story

Wed, 19 Apr 2017 07:38:32 GMT

I worked in a lounge at the Airport. It was a time when I realised that every traveler has a story. Everyone in the lounge near me was having a story. One person is travelling to another city for interview, One couple wants their honeymoon to be the best, One mother is on her way to attend the funeral of her beloved son etc. I have heard so many stories and every time I felt that I can't be rude to ... Weirdest Travel Experience

Thu, 13 Apr 2017 15:20:23 GMT

What is the weirdest travel experience you have had? Not thinking about losing luggage or having terrible problems - just kind of weird. Mine was in Belize in 1998. We had been to the Belize zoo and I had used the bathroom there - my checkbook with a credit card and some cash in it had fallen out of my pocket. I did not discover it until four hours down the road when we stopped for gas and ... [Posted by greatgrandmaR - Apr 13, 07:20]

I made a Dutch language group

Thu, 13 Apr 2017 13:39:47 GMT

Not sure why I hadn't thought of this before, but the groups feature would be a nice way to allow non-English discussions. So I created the "Nederlanders" group because that's the only language I could manage this for myself :) Please join if you're Dutch and want to help out. I'll do my best to converse in Dutch in there even though it's pretty rusty these days and takes a fair bit of mental power for me to not mix ... [Posted by Peter - Apr 13, 05:39]

First time creating a Blog . not so hard

Tue, 11 Apr 2017 20:53:52 GMT

I can see from this thread that there is a bit of a mystique surrounding blogs so here is my take on them. Like many people, I arrived on TP without a clue about how to start a blog or what I could do with one. But I knew wanted to show my sister photos of my trips & sending 5 at a time by E mail was fast becoming tiresome. So the first thing I did on TP, without ... [Posted by hasbeen - Apr 11, 12:53]
