Affordable options in L.A. for young travellers

Fri, 19 Jan 2018 16:32:31 GMT

Hi Folks, I have to admit that the time I spent doing volunteering in Latin America gave me the opportunity to know better the history and cultural life of the countries that I have been lately. I also realized that there are many options to make short travels and develop community work by joining different NGOs in Latin American. Sometimes they could cover some expenses and give you the chance to blend with local people …I have heard that Dominican Republic has ... Pre Clearance customs airports in eu/uk

Tue, 16 Jan 2018 16:33:35 GMT

USA pre clearance. I have read somewhere before that there was a pre clearance customs unit as Belfast..... however when I Google for Info, it comes up with Shannon and Dublin. Does anyone know if there is at all these? I will (fingers crossed) have a visa come through after my appointment at the start of October, and I know that's not a guarantee so would like to go through pre clearance if possible (and am aware that you can still ... Connecting Flight: Mexico City

Sun, 14 Jan 2018 01:56:41 GMT

Esteemed Fellow Travelers: Quick question having to do with Benito Juarez (MEX) International. My companion and I will be arriving there with somewhat less than a 3 hour wait until our connecting flight (Interjet) (not yet booked) - My concern is that it will take too much time to clear customs, adding to that; time involved in (possibly) retrieving baggage, then locating Interjet, checking in, etc...I am not familiar with this specific airport, although I believe our arrival ... ZTL's in Italy

Sat, 13 Jan 2018 16:19:18 GMT

We are less than a week back from our latest Europe vacation and are already planning our next. We're looking at Italy, and have been to Venice and a day trip to Ventimiglia. We like train travel for its convenience but sometimes a car is a better answer. Sometimes things aren't easily accessible unless you drive. I've been reading on ZTL's and that sounds like a real pain. What are everyone's experiences with these? ... [Posted by Bill Hall, in the Europe Forum - Jan 13, 08:19]

East Coast Australia March

Fri, 12 Jan 2018 14:56:02 GMT

I am travelling to Australia in March on a year long working visa. I am visiting family just north of Melbourne first before I set off to do the East Coast. I'm wondering what the best option is between travelling north from Melbourne - Cairns or vice versa. Flights from Melbourne to Cairns seem to be quite cheap around that time so I could quite easily travel south. I imagine I'll be setting off the last week of March. Also, I've ...
