Hello ! If you're planning a trip to Cambodia, don't forget to stay a few days at Battambang City ! I've stayed there during my travel accross Cambodia, and as an art lover, I was delighted by this little city. The main attraction is the circus school Phare, where you can enjoy a fabulous circus show made by the students ! There are also few galleries ( Romcheik Pram, Tep Kao Sol, Lotus ...), exhibiting local artists. I've booked a ... [Posted by nastasia22, in the Asia Forum - Mar 21, 21:21]

I am a person who does not carry cash and while this is becoming less of an issue (in 1990 I traveled to Japan only to find I needed cash to get a train ticket from the airport or take a cab) I still run into challenges Tipping is the biggest when traveling here in the US as I lack cash on hand to tip hotel employees like housekeepers, valets, bellman etc. ... Message screen appearance/format

Tue, 21 Mar 2017 15:11:51 GMT

I seem to be experiencing some issues with message writing. I only get a small box in which to write - full width but only deep enough to show two lines of text at a time. I can't remember what it used to look like but I'm pretty sure I could see a reasonable chunk of my message as I wrote, not just the line above. It makes spotting errors and editing quite difficult. Also, I can no longer click ... [Posted by ToonSarah, in the System Talk Forum - Mar 21, 07:11]

Transnistria

Tue, 21 Mar 2017 09:41:52 GMT

I'm thinking of a trip to Moldova, Romania and area. Looking at going into the Transnistria microstate and I'm reading conflicting info on corruption at the border, ranging from advice to stand your ground and insist you don't have to pay to enter, to you may have your passport destroyed if you won't pay a substantial bribe. Has anyone been? Can you clarify what to expect? ... [Posted by Andyf, in the Europe Forum - Mar 21, 01:41]

Photo loss of resolution

Mon, 20 Mar 2017 22:15:13 GMT

Hi, It seems to me something has changed in photos treatment. I recently upload a new batch of photos and there is a loss of resolution which appears only for portrait orientation. For landscape orientation, it is still very nice, but for portrait orientation, the quality is becoming poor. I have to add I was now obliged to rotate the photos and that's new. Don't know if there is any link. Question to Peter: Do you confirm there is new photo process or is ... [Posted by Alain13, in the System Talk Forum - Mar 20, 14:15]

New and Improved Travel Groups

Mon, 20 Mar 2017 13:44:07 GMT

Well, I hope this is an improvement. The Groups feature of the site has not had much love in the last couple of years, so it was about time to give it a boost. I've just finished off my initial work on that and have uploaded the changes (warts and all no doubt). Here's what's changed. * You can now create your own groups. No need to suggest and wait for it to be approved or anything like that. I ... [Posted by Peter, in the System Talk Forum - Mar 20, 05:44]
