Radiohead just started shipping a special vinyl edition of their recent album A Moon Shaped Pool . As Reddit points out, the package comes with a CD containing two non-album tracks, Bond reject " Spectre " and a never-before-heard b-side called "Ill Wind."

Flying the flag for London's insurgent grime scene, Skepta won the 2016 Mercury Prize last night, with his album Konnichiwa beating offerings by the likes of David Bowie, Radiohead and The 1975 - as well as fellow grime MC Kano - to get the judges' vote. Radiohead have shared a live rendition of Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood performing the A Moon Shaped Pool track "Present Tense" with a CR-78 drum machine. It features the two of them playing in dim lighting in a video directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, who also directed videos for " Daydreaming " and Greenwood's solo track " Roked ."

I'm not really keen on posting covers, and especially those of famous tracks, but I'm always fond of orchestral ambitions taking hold of more pop and rock-oriented originals. Classically trained Atlanta alternative quartet Von Grey accomplish such on their take of Radiohead's "Creep", with soaring vocals, crunchy guitars, and yearning strings resulting in a very engrossing re-imagining.
