Students in an Olivet College cold case homicide investigations class are searching for clues in the disappearance of a 21-year-old man who went missing more than a decade ago. The Battle Creek Enquirer reports that five members of the class helped search fields and woods Sunday in Augusta.

Company officials tell us that two branches in Battle Creek are consolidating and that the branch at 1535 West Michigan Ave. will be closing in April of 2017. The Grand Rapids Business Journal reports that two Grand Rapids locations, Breton Road SE and Alpine Avenue NW, and the Montague location in Muskegon County are also closing.

Fire Rescue personnel and Public Safety officers were dispatched to the 3800 block of Zylman road at about 7:30 Saturday evening and found the Jeep upside down and off the roadway. Investigators are still trying to determine why the young driver lost control of the vehicle, hit the pole and flipped.
