There were no injuries but there was about $35,000 damage done to a home by a kitchen fire at 46 Myrtle Avenue in Battle Creek early Saturday morning.' Fire Crews were dispatched at about 3 am and found fire and smoke coming from the home, but all the occupants had already gotten out.

According to a release from the Battle Creek Police Department, a report of a person being shot was reported at 1:11 a.m. on Nov. 25.
