A 61-year old woman suffered serious injuries after the back half of her car was crushed by semi-hauling grain that rear-ended her vehicle on M-66 near Beckley Road on the south side of Battle Creek at about 2:40 yesterday afternoon. Fire Rescue put out the flames and removed the woman from the car, loading her onto an AirCare Helicopter for the flight to Bronson Methodist in Kalamazoo.

Police are trying to find out more about the woman who was found naked on top of a Battle Creek fire truck inside the Capital Avenue station Wednesday morning. Police say that the firefighters found the woman lying on the back of the truck at Station #6 at 2401 Capital Avenue SW about 6:00 a.m. She was naked, but her clothes were found inside the station.

Megan Schug has been ordered to face trail for keeping her autistic four year old son locked in a closet with limited room to move, underfeeding and beating Dr.Charles Yenger testified that the child, Maloyd Gaines, was near death when Schug brought him into the Emergency Room.
