Six miles of new trails approved to be built in the McInnis Canyon National Conservation Area near Fruita might be the last piece of a plan to manage the 123,000-acre space, but Bureau of Land Management staff and local outdoor enthusiasts are already looking to what's next. Fruita city officials, the Colorado Plateau Mountain Bike Trail Association and local businesses provided the manpower and funding to get the 6.5 miles of trail development approved.
