That's right, adding to the growing popularity of beer and wine trails , and even cheese trails , New York State now has an ice cream trail that will take you on a beautiful road trip through the Adirondack Mountains. The folks over at came up with the ice cream trail that begins in Speculator and ends in Queensbury, near Glens Falls.

A man who plead guilty to taking part in the murder of Kevin Jenks was sentenced to 18 years to life in prison, the Post-Star reports. Warren County Judge John Hall imposed the sentence of Kevin Chapman, 50, of Ilion on Thursday in Warren County Court.

A woman died in a two-car crash in Greenfield Monday night, according to the Post-Star of Glens Falls. Two other people were injured in the crash on Lake Desolation Road, the newspaper reported, citing the Saratoga County Sheriff's Office.

The investigation, which included the New York State Police, Warren County Sheriff's Office, the Hudson Falls, Fort Edward, Granville, and City of Glens Falls Police Departments, lead to the following arrests Monday morning: Jose Lazarini, 31, of Glens Falls, was arrested for two counts of third-degree criminal sale of controlled substance and two counts of third-degree criminal possession of controlled substance, all felonies. Richard Smith, 31, of Hoosick Falls, was arrested for three counts of third-degree criminal sale of controlled substance and three counts of third-degree criminal possession of controlled substance, all felonies.

Retired Massena Central varsity boys coach Tom Miller was recently inducted to the New York State Basketball Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2017. The induction ceremony was held at Heritage Hall at the Glens Falls Civic Center, Sunday, March 26. Miller, who also coached at Edwards-Knox and Indian River, was enshrined along with former Parishville-Hopkinton and South Jefferson coach Pat Bassett.
