After seeing the NEW VIDEO for the classic song, I got these lyrics stuck in my head. For days. I love this song first released 1971. Blue jean baby, L.A. lady, seamstress for the band Pretty eyed, pirate smile, you’ll marry a music man Ballerina, you must have seen her dancing in the sand And … Continue reading “Tiny Dancer” by Elton John & Bernie Taupin(image)

The English Girl by Daniel Silvarickmc

Fri, 16 Jun 2017 11:04:53 +0000

I’ve been disappointed by a number of books recently. Not Silva. He keeps getting better. REVIEW: A beautiful woman is snatched from her vacation on Corsica. A ransom note reaches 10 Downing Street. Click PLAY or watch Louise introduce it on YouTube. If Agatha Christie read this book she’d be aghast. Great writing but an absurd, unbelievable plot. Change Agent: A Novel (2017)rickmc

Tue, 13 Jun 2017 11:02:53 +0000

I’ve read all the Daniel SUAREZ books: Daemon, Freedom TM, Kill Decision, Influx and now Change Agent. All are dystopian – technology-driven change disasters. The tech is great. His writing, dialogues and plots disappointingly juvenile. This was the worst so far. Daemon was best. Filed under: books(image)
