Orange break 3-pointers record in win over Heels

Chapel Hill, N.C. – Backed by one of the most lethal 3-point performances of the season, the Orange sunk a program and Atlantic Coast Conference record 20 buckets from downtown to earn their fourth-straight win with a 86-80 victory over North Carolina on Thursday night. Gabrielle Cooper and Miranda Drummond scored 28 and 24 points, respectively, and combined for 15 3-pointers in the win.

Orange Cruise Past Albany

Fourth-ranked Syracuse scored in the first two minutes of the game and never looked back in a 19-12 win against Albany in front of 827 fans at the Carrier Dome. In the first half, sophomore Emily Hawryschuk and senior Alie Jimerson paced the Orange attack, scoring three and two goals, respectively, including assisting each other on a score in the opening half. The win gives Syracuse an 11-0 advantage in the series against the Great Danes.

ACC Championship Action Underway

Football Opener Moved to August 31

Head coach Dino Babers and the 2018 Syracuse Orange will kick off the 2018 season on Friday, Aug. 31 at Western Michigan in a game that will be televised on CBS Sports Network. The season opener for both schools was initially set for Sept. 1.

Orange Host Robert Morris for Senior Day

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Syracuse ice hockey team hosts No. 9 Robert Morris for its final home series of the 2017-18 regular season. The Orange will honor their five seniors for Senior Day on Saturday, Feb. 24 as they take the ice at Tennity for the final time in their colleigate career.

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Sophomore Tyus Battle, junior Frank Howard and freshman Oshae Brissett combined to score 66 points for Syracuse (18-10, 7-8 ACC) in its 78-74 loss to No. 10 North Carolina (22-7, 11-5 ACC) Wednesday night in the Carrier Dome.
