Rattlers a no-show as Soul roll to title

The Philadelphia Soul defeated the Arizona Rattlers 56-42 in front of 13,390 fans at the Gila River Arena in Glendale, AZ on Friday night. This is the 2 ArenaBowl championship victory for the Soul in franchise history.

There have been no two teams better than the Philadelphia Soul and Arizona Rattlers over the last six years. Statistically speaking, the Rattlers are 86-20 and the Soul are 70-36, the top two records of the eight teams in the AFL. The two best quarterbacks in the league? Nick Davila (Rattlers QB,) and Dan Raudabaugh (Soul QB.) This is the best of the best in the AFL, with seemingly a top five player at every position.

Soul win ArenaBowl XXIX 56-42
END OF GAME - The Philadelphia Soul are the champions of the world. After failing against Arizona twice in the ArenaBowl before, the Soul overcame nearly coughing up a 21-point lead to win their second championship in franchise history.
