Best Syndication News

Yes, we are talking about the same Rudolph. Maybe you’ve not met him but you know “His-story.” However before now he had not told “His-story,” because as he put it, “history” had distorted it, and no one would listen to him. Fortunately I got the opportunity to sit down and have a candid conversation with Rudolph – The Red-nosed Reindeer.

The story as we know it has been summed up in a Christmas Carol which we all know and love. We sing it with our kids, we sing it when we trounce through the snow caroling in our neighborhoods. It makes us feel good, makes us appreciate the season and makes us root for the underdog or under-deer in this case.

So how about if we get started!

Tony: Hello Rudolph it is an absolute pleasure to have the opportunity to finally visit with you. I have only a few questions and would like to jump right in.

(Best Syndication) When you think of USC, you think of football, right? This year the USC basketball team has gone from sixth best in their conference to number one. Most agree that the addition of two freshmen has a lot to do with their success.

Daniel Hackett should be playing his senior season in high school, but instead he's playing like a college senior with years of NCAA Tournament experience. Taj Gibson has provided the boost needed for the Trojan success this year.

This is the best season in six years for the Trojans. Nick Young said "It was very hard for us, very tough for Gabe, Lod and me being here and then, all of a sudden, we just got some great freshmen that came in and helped lift us. Now we're playing great. Like I said, I hope we just keep it up."

After the weekend the NBA decided to assess the foul as a flagrant 1 penalty. This prompted Jackson’s response on Tuesday "It shouldn't even have been a flagrant I." Jackson went on to tell the LA Times that "That's crazy. That's a vendetta. They have a witch hunt going on. It's nuts. Guys riding somebody. Everybody does that in this league. It's just becoming a witch hunt now."

Sasha Pavlovic

(Best Syndication) The Lakers’ loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers Sunday was the fifth loss for the Lakers in eight games. Sasha Pavlovic scored 13 points in the fourth quarter to help block a Lakers win. Pavlovic finished with 21 points.

Kobe Bryant scored 36 points, but even that was not enough to win. The Lakers have been on the road for the last two weeks, and that may help explain their losing record. He scored the first 14 points in the final period, but was unable to score again because of the defense of Larry Hughes.

The final score was 99-90, but the final push came in the forth quarter as Kobe was shut down and the Cavs scored. Although LeBron James had 18 points, eight rebounds and five assists, be let Pavlovic and others score down the final stretch.
