Trump inauguration drew nearly 31 million TV viewers

Donald Trump’s inauguration averaged nearly 31 million across 12 channels, according to Nielsen.

The audience was up from the 20.6 million who watched Barack Obama’s inauguration four years ago.

But the first Obama inauguration had 37.8 million viewers in 2009.
