The bottom line is this, he has started a myth that will carry on for a very....very long time....even after he dies there will always be someone to adorn the black leather and risk life and limb on a black bike, it doesn't matter if its filmed or not, a ghost can't die. For God sakes there are swedish youth that believe he really is a ghost and can ride through walls even, now thats just plain nutters but it shows the power and the truth that he IS a myth and legend.

It looks like all good fun but after my uncle's brother-in-law had his wife and stepson killed because their car was struck by a sport motorcycle going at top speed, I don't approve of this type of behaviour. He may be a great rider but he cannot control everything on the streets and highways. One elderly driver with an arthritic neck and cataracts could result in a tragedy.

Ryven is right, the GhostRider has never been caught and prosecuted for Xtreme traffic violations :p His closest call is in 1 of his videos where a large roadblock has been set up and a Policeman even crazier than GR tries to pull him off the GSX-R while he is wheelie-ing at him at speed. Result : GR gets away, again!!! URL of video As Ryven also said Sweden's finest law enforcers have only ever caught him on his BMX. There are a few fake videos on the web claiming its him being busted or crashing. If any of them were real Swedish Polis would gleefully have posted it on there homepage for the rest of time. GR has gone AWOL though with very little info on where he is. His 5th DVD "Back to Basics" has been due out for a long time with still no sign of release. Details have been posted on the web that the master tape was damaged by the distributor meaning some footage would have to be reshot entirely. The official website ( has been unchanged for around 6 months or more, with just a message there saying the site is being rebuilt for the fans benefit. Hmmm 6 months to rebuild a small site ? Something is not right. Maybe he is dead :O Someone must know whats going on. GR4 was meant to be his last DVD but I've seen the trailers for GR5 and had it preordered from Duke Video but got a refund when it became clear its not going to happen. So whats going on GR ? New DVD is dead. Website is dead. I don't like where this is going but the Swedish Cops must be happy.

"BoredInClass said:and he has been cought and or crashed alot" I would Like too know were your heard about that. I follow every thing on GR interviews got all the movies ect, and He has Never bin cought his record for cops on him is 6 cars 2 vans and 1 or 2 helicpoters and yes he got away!. There is 1 time that he was stoped and it was when he was on a Mini Bmx that was mocked up like his gixxer wearing his leather... he was let go a few hours later for impersonation of Ghost Rider. I get every thing translated. for the crashed part from my personal point of view if he crashed at his avrage speeds (100mph+) he would of bin dead along time ago LOL.

oh yea gotta add. he has made 5 dvds all with different themes. the one called GR goes undercover he is on the cop gixxer 1k and he chases down the beemer. and a couple of guys that think there cool on there fairingless street bikes. its so funny when they finnaly stops and GR turns around and throws em a thumbs up and speeds off. they dont even no how to react! the biggest reason they cant catch him is cuz he literally is unidentifiable.. they know nothing but a man or woman in a black suit is speeding on a black licenseplateless bike. his turboed hayabusa is VERY fast though, theres a vid of him accelerating to 230 mph where he redlines it in 6 gear in like 10 seconds. the speedo pegs at 200 but the rpm continues to climb

ive been interested in GR for a really long time and after alot of stuff ive found out alot. hes either in his late 30's to his early 40's. hes bald and a tiny bit chunky. he drives an all carbon fiber gixxer. his turboed hayabusa street fighter thing(no fairings). ive also seen him on his cop gixxer which i beleve comes from suzuki like that. i dont know if he owns that one though. his real name IS patrik furstenhoff(dunno how to spell) he set the world record for fastest wheelie and fastest wheelie with a passenger. both above 200 mph. the upsala run was done in about 14 min. averageing about 178 mph which is really fast. did it in light traffic. he is on a team. and he has been cought and or crashed alot. still alive though. he actually crashed on nurburgring. search you tube for ghost rider slide show for some really good pics on him, his bikes, and a crash.
