This is where I tell you what's in the episode so you don't have to listen.
It's been 11 years & most of you already know what to expect. Me rambling, some mediocre audio in a theme park, and Jonathan Coulton. :)

A quick and dirty "no-frills" podcast from the Magic Kingdom... No frills and limited editing because I put it together when I was rushing to pack and hop on a plane to go to Disneyland... (I'm typing this in Anaheim 12 hours later)
We go under the sea with our good friend Heather, and then sit in the shade and watch a parade in frontierland.

This week we head back in time to visit the Disney-MGM Studios Backlot Tour (yes, that's what I called it...) on its last day of operation. And then head to the MK to ride along with one of my new favorite Skippers on the Jungle Cruise! As an experiment, I recorded portions during my commute. Let me know what you think... I'm not sure if I like it, but I'm producing something.
Edited completely on Android.

It's the First of May! It's like Earl's version of Groundhog Day. If he sees his shadow, it's 12 more months of procrastination and no TOV editing, even though he's done plenty of recording... Hopefully it'll be overcast for multiple reasons, most importantly to lessen sunburn during First of May activities...
This episode includes lots of fun stuff from thte 2013 Cast Member Service Award party.
Have fun! It was great putting it together! Believe it or not, I'm the most happy when I'm making the show... with the exception of being a Dad, because that's pretty cool too!
Thu, 02 May 2013 03:21:01 +0000
It's the First of May, First of May, Outdoor podcasting starts today! Bring your favorite headphones, or at least your favorite play(er)!

It's time for the quarterly episode of Trapped on Vacation!!!!!

I could say more, but then you wouldn't listen!
As always have fun!

Lots of fun with myself, @Bleepin_wife, @littlesouvenir and 4mice+1 at Sea World's Family Christmas Party!

Last month I went to Pixar Weekends at Epcot where Jay Ward gave a talk about the Character Design of the cars in Cars 2.
Since Cars 2 is opening tonight, what better time to share it with you! Sure it probably would've been better to have posted last month, but oh well... ;)
Hope you enjoy it!
Sun, 27 Feb 2011 02:17:55 +0000
TOV Mediocre Media is back with breaking news from the sports world! @littlesouvenir is taking the running world by storm in her first race, the Disney Royal Family 100m dash!
Sun, 08 Aug 2010 21:54:00 +0000
This episode marks the 5th Anniversary (more or less) of Trapped on Vacation, we're still the Longest Running Non-Commercial Disney Podcast on the Internet, and we'd like to thank you for listening and sticking with us for all of these years! Without our listeners like you, I'd just be a guy talking to my self with a wife staring at him wondering what the hell I was doing. So thanks for not making me look like an idiot. Well... like more of an idiot I guess...
This week we head back in time with all new audio from the Opening Night Preview of the Main Street Electrical Parade at the Magic Kingdom. Yes, that's how long it's been... After that we head up north to Dearborn, MI and hear an original recording by Thomas Edison. Without Edison's invention of the phonograph, I doubt you'd be hearing my voice today! So thanks Mr. Edison! (Also thanks for the lightbulbs in MSEP!)
Hope you enjoy it! Have fun!
Mon, 17 May 2010 03:13:00 +0000
We're back with another adventure!
This week we visit Figment in Imagination for the first time with Little Souvenir, and then we head on down, grab a beer and see Davy Jones in concert at Epcot for the International Flower & Garden Festival!
Good times, good friends, enjoy!
Sat, 01 May 2010 14:57:00 +0000
Yes, morning... I just edited a podcast in the morning drinking coffee instead of beer... Weird!
Since it's the First of May, and I'm not at Disneyland for DPN Westfest '10 I just had to upload something!
This week we head back into the archives to 2006 and the first time that Jonathan Coulton's "First of May" made an appearance on TOV.... I take you along with myself, Jeff from Houston, and Patrick as we explore the Land Pavillion at Epcot. After that I hit IOA and mess with some Dino DNA!
Wed, 31 Mar 2010 03:43:00 +0000
Video show for you this time... join the Bleepin' Wife and I on an adventure in snowy Colorado with some of our favorite DPN friends!
After that we head on over for a short ride at Disneyland to get you ready for DPN WestFest 2010 from April 29-May 2. Be sure to download the DPN Westfest App from iTunes to get your fun on!
Mon, 18 Jan 2010 23:42:00 +0000With a little patience, I'm back!
Mon, 16 Nov 2009 03:51:00 +0000TOV is back and with a new edition to the family (who is sleeping and letting me record the episode...)
Tue, 15 Sep 2009 02:14:00 +0000With less than a week before the baby is born, it's either now or never for Episode 124!!
Sun, 16 Aug 2009 03:04:00 +0000At the DPN's WestFest 2009, everyone seemed to exit Splash Mountain fairly dry. However one man was not so lucky. This is his story...
Mon, 03 Aug 2009 02:45:00 +0000Hi everyone!
Mon, 22 Jun 2009 04:09:00 +0000I'm back!
Mon, 27 Apr 2009 02:58:00 +0000Here is the 2nd ToV Mediocre Media Video Supplemental.
Mon, 27 Apr 2009 01:58:00 +0000Hey everyone!
Tue, 14 Apr 2009 03:28:00 +0000Hi everyone!
Tue, 07 Apr 2009 23:57:00 +0000This has to be the coolest audio I've ever recorded!
Fri, 20 Mar 2009 01:45:00 +0000This episode was a ton of fun to record and put together!
Fri, 06 Feb 2009 04:48:00 +0000Happy New Year (a months too late!)
Tue, 23 Dec 2008 21:41:00 +0000Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everybody!
Mon, 08 Dec 2008 02:38:00 +0000Short and sweet episode this week. I'm nursing a cold, and need some rest before Mouse/Bleepin'fest this weekend!
Thu, 27 Nov 2008 03:08:00 +0000Hi everyone!
Thu, 06 Nov 2008 01:01:00 +0000It's the annual ToV Halloween episode!
Mon, 20 Oct 2008 04:00:00 +0000After dreading listening to my AC audio for three weeks, I finally put the headphones on again. It's still tough for me to listen to because of the flood of memories and emotions that it creates.
Thu, 25 Sep 2008 17:39:00 +0000It's Thursday so I'm bringing you audio from last night, and the night before.
Wed, 24 Sep 2008 15:50:00 +0000It's another night at the Adv Club... Starting things out is Tuesday's Radiothon. Great stuff as always! After that we head to the Hoopla for perhaps the best shows that I've ever seen in the library! There were a few moments where there wasn't a dry eye in the room! The show really highlighted the talent and diversity of the performers. Also many congratulations to the Adventurers Club Door Host, Kirk for reaching 20 years with the Walt Disney Company! Kirk received his 20 year pin in the middle of the show, which was great! Thanks to PI management for letting him celebrate this moment a week early. (That moment is the Album Art for this episode...)
Tue, 23 Sep 2008 18:28:00 +0000Hi all. It's the week that I've been dreading since the end of June. The Adventurer's Club is closing on Saturday, and there's nothing we can do but enjoy the last few nights. The Bleepin Wife and I will be there every night this week and I'll be posting the best audio that I recorded from each night. There may be repeats of Hooplas or Radiothons, but while the shows are similar, no two shows are ever the same. Hope you enjoy them. It's going to be tough for us to say Good Bye... Kungaloosh!
Tue, 02 Sep 2008 03:11:00 +0000Hi all!
Wed, 30 Jul 2008 06:55:00 +0000This week we beat the head in the Air Conditioned splendor of the HAll of Presidents! Do we need to say more??? Kick ice awesomeness all over the place!
Wed, 02 Jul 2008 03:30:00 +0000Hi all...
Wed, 11 Jun 2008 12:41:00 +0000
I'm back from the NHL Playoffs! Well I should say I'm finally off of my couch... Go Red Wings!
This week we head back to Westfest for the "Watch the Bleepin' Goat! Goat! Goat!" meet on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, courtesy of John from Houston of the Meandering Mouse Podcast. After that I hang out with my friend Princess Bella and her parents and see a couple attractions at Disney's Animal Kingdom.
Parents: I dropped 2 F-bombs that I forgot about until I was mixing down the show. One was 2 minutes in, when I was talking about the Red Wings, and one was right at the very end. Since it literally takes 90 minutes for my Powerbook to mix and convert, I didn't have time last night to go back and bleep. The rest of the show is 100% safe, just those two instances. Sorry!
Wed, 14 May 2008 04:21:00 +0000AUDIO FIXED!!! You can actually hear the episode this time because I corrected the music levels! Sorry about that!!!
Thu, 01 May 2008 02:29:00 +0000You know what's coming both because of the date and because I told ya last week! Happy First of May everyone! We're flying to DL at 6:30am WDW time! See you at Westfest! (and keep yer clothes on freaks!)
Wed, 23 Apr 2008 13:23:00 +0000
This week for Episode 102, I do three things that I've never done before!
Sure I could give them away in this description, but where's the fun in that???
Trust me, it's a good time!
Tue, 01 Apr 2008 11:50:00 +0000
This week I head to the MK and I take in three attractions. Not everything goes right. Sorry...
A quick note on the audio. I've been experimenting with the binaural mic placement. Because of this my voice is a bit muffled in some spots.
Sun, 16 Mar 2008 11:13:00 +0000It's Episode 100!
Sun, 17 Feb 2008 06:27:00 +0000This week we head to Universal Studios and take in the all new
Wed, 30 Jan 2008 19:15:00 +0000
This week is totally different from a "normal" episode of TOV, if there is such a thing as a "normal" episode...
This past weekend I went to the FX Toy Show at the Orlando Convention Center. While I was there I happened to catch a Q&A Panel with George Takei (Kaito Nakamura), Greg Grunberg (Matt Parkman), and Stephen Tobolowsky (Bob) from the cast of Heroes. I know that a bunch of people who listen to ToV are Heroes fans, so this one is for them. If you're not a Heroes fan, listen anyways because the guys basically talk about random pop culture as well. Of course there's a running commentary by me and "ABC..."
Note: The running commentary may contain unedited adult language and subject matter. THERE ARE NO "BLEEPS." You have been warned. :)
Mon, 21 Jan 2008 08:05:00 +0000Hola!
Mon, 07 Jan 2008 04:54:00 +0000Ok, it's January 6th, also know as Three Kings in many nations of the World, also known as the last legal day of the Holiday Season.
Mon, 17 Dec 2007 16:40:00 +0000This week the Bleepin' Wife and I start out telling a lie about how we weren't going to do any holiday stuff at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. Of course we did, so come along with us and enjoy some free Hot Cocoa and Mickey's 'Twas the Night Before Christmas. After that we head to Epcot for the Holiday tag at the end of Illuminations. Then we wrap the whole thing up with Rusty Cutlass, the Pirate Band back at MVMCP.
Fri, 30 Nov 2007 21:50:00 +0000This week we head to Sea World for a day of fun, beer, and air that smells somewhat like fish.
Sun, 11 Nov 2007 21:46:00 +0000
It's the last week of Food and Wine! Noooooooooooooooo!
So of course we had to hang out and have some delicious beverages.... The beverages happened to be Sam Adams, and some of them happened to be free thanks to The Boston Beer Company's Sam Adams Seminar! Of course after that we hung around in the area to buy some more beer at the Sam Adams tent. Some guy happened to be singing some songs that we're pretty sure that he didn't sing originally... He was fun though.
Have a listen. :)
Thu, 25 Oct 2007 11:53:00 +0000
So this week is a time warp episode... I recorded it the day after the last episode, yet didn't get a chance to finish it until yesterday.
For our first anniversary we went to Discovery Cove to swim with dolphins, stingrays, sharks, and barrcudas! I think this is a first for Orlando podcasting, and I hope you enjoy the experience... I know we sure did and we can't wait to go back!!!
One thing to note: My recorder was in a waterproof bag (and in the water) for much of the experience, so the crisp, clean binaural sound that you've come to expect isn't happening this week. I think you'll enjoy it anyways...
Fri, 12 Oct 2007 10:49:00 +0000It's our Anniversary weekend, so of course we're doing special stuff! Today we learn about Pears, I serenade the Bleepin' Wife with beautiful music, and we go dessert hunting! More to come this weekend! We're heading someplace COOL today!
Mon, 08 Oct 2007 12:51:00 +0000Hey everybody! This week we're hanging out with the "Bad Boys" of the DPN During Fat and Happy 2007. We're all over the place this week, SpiderMan, Food and Wine Festival, and the Adventurers Club. Parents please note... We're all adults talking about adult topics like beer and such. Use your best judgement. :)
Mon, 01 Oct 2007 17:42:00 +0000Happy Birthday WDW, and especially Epcot!
Fri, 14 Sep 2007 02:51:00 +0000Sa-Weet!! Haunted Mansion re-opened today!
Sat, 01 Sep 2007 00:55:00 +0000Hey everyone... Rare Friday show recorded tonight. Bleepin' Wife's birthday on Saturday! O' Canada is reopened!!! Come aloong for the ride eh!
Wed, 22 Aug 2007 12:12:00 +0000
I'm back! (Again...)
Join the Bleepin' Wife and I as we take in one of Florida's Historical Attractiona, Weeki Wachee Springs. Lately the park's fate has been up in the air, so now is the time to take it all in. Both the Bleepin' Wife and I highly recommend taking the drive from Central Florida over to the Coast to enjoy the wonderful experience that they offer.
This episode is a little bit different from the norm, because it involves a combination of storytelling and attraction audio, yet not the audio that you'd expect to hear...
Have fun!Edit - I slipped and said that the News reported that Florida was in exploratory talks about making Weeki Wachee a National Park when I meant to say State Park.
Fri, 27 Jul 2007 10:18:00 +0000I'm back and almost on a schedule! Woot! This week I continue the theme that I started last week, and I find more great Air Conditioned places to beat the heat at WDW. This week, the AC was kicking in China! It all starts with the only indoor Live Entertainment with Si Xian, and then we head into the China Theater to catch the Circle Vision film, Reflections of China. Have fun and stay cool!
Thu, 19 Jul 2007 10:17:00 +0000
Woot! Finally got a chance to hit the parks after our short vacation and working at 6am-6pm every day (and being exhausted when I'm through!)
Last night after work I found some of the best AC in World Showcase while relaxing in Impressions de France.
This is one of the most relaxing and beautiful shows in WDW. Since it features scenery and music instead of showing the people of the country, it doesn't date itself like Canada & Norway. It's one of my favorite movies in the Park, and I discovered something that I never really realized before...
Mon, 02 Jul 2007 03:22:00 +0000Happy Canada Day to our neighbors to the North! Here's a trip to Epcot and 1980's Canada in Circlevision! That about sums it up. :) Have fun!
Wed, 20 Jun 2007 14:30:00 +0000What Ho Vacationers! (That doesn't mean which ho, it's different...) This week we stretch out Auntie Lo's Birthday Celebration and return to the Adventurers Club for the Hoopla! After PI closes for the night we head on over to Epcot to the "Sounds of Summer" at the American Gardens Amphitheatre. This week's performance is "Slippery When Wet, A Tribute to Bon Jovi!" It RaWks!!! Have fun... (I'm going to eat cake...)
Mon, 11 Jun 2007 12:38:00 +0000Posted two weeks late, sorry!
Mon, 21 May 2007 13:12:00 +0000
This week we head down I-4 to experience the wonder that is Busch Gardens Africa! This is a different sort of episode. I think it's more of an "interactive trip report" than your typical episode of TOV. We had a ton of fun in the park that day, and I hope you have as much fun as we had!
Wed, 09 May 2007 04:16:00 +0000This week we have a nautical themeas we take in 3 out of 5 Boat attractions at the Magic Kingdom. Sure I could list them, but I'd rather keep you guessing! Brand new Voicemail line - 407-792-BEER! Woot!!! Gimme a call! Of course everything's wrapped up with another Earlioke! Bonus points go to the person who guesses the reason why I picked the song. It's the shortest song yet, and I think I spent more time producing that segment than the rest of the entire show! Hope you enjoy it, although if you don't that's sort of the point of bad singing as well. :) Have fun!!!
Thu, 03 May 2007 14:20:00 +0000Woot! Back from Westfest and boy are the Bleepin' Wife and I TIRED!!! After we wander around looking for other Westfest attendees, we head to Sea World Orlando to take in Pets Ahoy! Of course it's the first week of May and TOV listeners know what that means... It means that I play a fun Jonathan Coulton song called First of May at the end of the show that isn't exactly kid safe. So parents you have been warned. The rest of the show is fine, I'll tell you when to stop. Originally I recorded this on the First of May but the Vacation Home rehab schedule didn't let me edit until last night. Oops!
Tue, 24 Apr 2007 12:47:00 +0000
I actually uploaded this on Sunday but totally forgot to post it to the feed! (and I forgot the title of the show, but that's a whole 'nother story...)
Because of Spring Break and living remodeling hell in the Vacation Home We're packing up everything like we're moving even though we're not moving, it's totally freaking out the Vacation Pets!
I'm doing a best of this week mainly because I haven't had any decent audio to post in almost three weeks! So come with me back to March of 2005.
Thanks to tleisher from the DPN forums for the suggestion!
Mon, 09 Apr 2007 11:42:00 +0000eing Spring Break, the Bleepin' Wife and I skipped the parks on our days off because the crowds are evil! Although I took one for the team and hit Epcot on Saturday night to take a voyage on the Mexican Boat Ride, I mean the Gran Fiesta Tour starring the Three Caballeros. After that I take a leisurely stroll around World Showcase stopping to plop in a couch and listen to some music in a Flower & Garden Festival Display, and finally head to North Montana as I catch Fiddler's Joy performing on the stage there. I almost forgot!!! There's about 30 seconds of Paul Revere and the Raiders in there as well... I caught the very eng of their show.
Tue, 03 Apr 2007 11:51:00 +0000No clever show desc today... Heading to work! I might change the desc tonight! HAve fun at the Monsters inc Laugh Floor Comedy Club
Mon, 26 Mar 2007 12:48:00 +0000
Step back in time with us as we hop aboard the Liberty Belle and take a scenic cruise around the Rivers of America. As always, this is one of my favorite types of shows because of the Company and Conversation more than the cruise itself.
Tue, 20 Mar 2007 11:10:00 +0000Hey everybody , this week I'm back in the Disney bubble! Come along as we head to the American Gardens and take in a performance of one of my favorite musical groups, Toxic Audio!
Mon, 12 Mar 2007 13:18:00 +0000
Originally I intended to hit Mardi Gras at Universal to catch the Doobie Brothers. That didn't happen.
In my opinion, I found something better! Each week on the "small stage" they bring in musical acts directly from New Orleans. This week was Big Sam's Funky Nation, and performed 30 minutes of non-stop high energy funk! After watching their set, I really didn't think that the Doobie Brothers could've topped it, so I left. :)
Mon, 05 Mar 2007 13:36:00 +0000
If you've been following the show over at the DPN (now easily accessible at http://www.thedpn.com ) you already know what I did this week!
The Bleepin' Wife and I spent a great day visiting one of the oldest, and perhaps my favorite attraction in Central Florida, Gatorland!
I have enough audio to spread through a couple shows, but this week we take in the World Famous Gatorland Jumparoo and the Aligator Wrestling show. I've been going there for quite some time, but this visit was the first time I saw a woman aligator wrestler. It could be that they've had women wrestlers for years but I just never happened to be there when they were working, who knows...
Anyways we had a great time and will probably be visiting again in the future. The Bleepin' Wife had never been there before and loved it!
Oh, I almost forgot the death defying stupid stunts! We also feed the gators hot dogs on sticks, and then I take in Gatorland's Adventure Hour where I paid $10 to go on the other side of the fence and feed the gators up close from 3 feet away! That was perhaps the coolest thing that I've done in quite a while! I'd like to thank Gatorland employee, Chris for convincing me to do it and carrying the big stick!
The Gatorland staff is among the friendliest in the area. The all seem to have a passion for what they do and where they work.
Tue, 27 Feb 2007 15:43:00 +0000
The start of TOV this week was recorded live at Epcot at the DPN MiniMeet. I forgot to mention that Silverwolf2006 was also there. (Sorry man…)
This week we take the Vacation Neice and Nephew to the Parks. We see the Yeti at Animal Kingdom and head over to the Disney-MGM Studios to hop on the Tower of Terror. We all got on, but some of us didn't exactly make it. Hope you ennjoy it! It was a great week, and I'm exhausted!
Tue, 20 Feb 2007 14:10:00 +0000
This month, both the Meandering Mouse Podcast and the Disney Podcast Network are celebrating their first anniversary.
As a way of saying thanks to Jeff, I'm going back in my time machine phone booth and revisiting the first emails and clips that Jeff sent in to Trapped on Vacation back in November of 2005 when he pretty much became a co-host of TOV for a few months. Without his contributions, I'm pretty positive that I would've given up and gotten bored with this gig back in December of '05. Now of course with the DPN, I'm not doing this for listeners, I'm creating this show as a way of hanging out with friends that live around the world. Just last night the Bleepin' Wife and I were discussing the fact that some of our closest friends live across the country, and many of them we didn't know just 10 months ago! Strange but true.
So thanks for everything Jeff, here's to another great year!
(I'm such an ass kisser... although he'll probably smack me for playing this stuff. Compared to the Meandering Mouse today, it's almost painful to listen to! Gotta love that Griffin Lapel Mic that someone recommended so highly!) ;)
PG-13 Warning!!! I missed an edit and dropped an F-Bomb... Right after I read Jeff's original email that he sent me, I crack a beer. When I open the beer skip 10 seconds and you'll miss the f-bomb (I called Jeff an f-in' awesome friend.) The rest is clean I promise!
Mon, 12 Feb 2007 13:41:00 +0000
We're back from Colorado! No broken bones, but no vacation audio either because I discovered that binaural mics don't work when they're covered by big wooly hats or brain buckets. No biggie, I still had a great time!
This week we head back in time thanks to SilverJeeper and Lorien and revisit the worst Jungle Cruise ever! Plus I take care of a listener request and head back to DisneyQuest to Ride the Comics.
Wed, 24 Jan 2007 15:16:00 +0000This week Trapped on Vacation gets attacked by the Evil Pause Button of Death!!! All day on Thursday I kept accidentally pausing while recording. Did I ever learn my lesson??? H3ll no!!! Why? Because I’m an idiot… Actually I was having too much fun hanging out with Auntie Lo and SilverJeeper (plus the Bleepin’ Wife of course) that I just wasn’t paying attention. So this week we hit Big Thunder, followed by the biggest pause button disappointment of the day (18 seconds of heartache.) We then head on over and get our Buzz on in Tomorrowland. This week is also the first installment of DrDuck’s trip to Tokyo Disney Resort! When I met him and his family at Epcot a few months ago, he gave me literally hours of audio. I’ve finally been able to begin going through it. Over the next few weeks, months, years, etc, I’ll be sharing his wonderful trip a few minutes at a time. It’s really incredible stuff, and his family is great!!! Ending things this week is a segment from this week’s episode of the Teknikal Difficulties Podcast. Sketch Comedy featuring the Main Street Electrical Parade. It cracked me up so much that I had to email Cayenne to ask him if I could play it. Thankfully he said yes! Tue, 16 Jan 2007 13:54:00 +0000
This week we escape the strange January heat and head into the air conditioning of Disneyquest!
Come along as the Bleepin' Wife and I experience Alien Encounter Invasion, The Virtual Jungle Cruise, Buzz Lightyear's Astroblasters (The Original!) and Pirates of the Caribbean: Battle for Buccaneer Gold.
Hours of interactive adventures edited down to just over 40 minutes!
Mon, 08 Jan 2007 13:54:00 +0000
Wed, 03 Jan 2007 06:09:00 +0000I'm back from hiatus!!!! I just popped up a quick update. Nothing major, but there is the return of a New Year Holiday Classic. I'll be back on track this week to record new segments!
Sat, 16 Dec 2006 14:02:00 +0000
Hey! I'm back and exhausted!
Before Mousefest I said that it was just another typical week here at WDW for me. In a way it was since I had to work, but then again in a typical week I we usually spend about 6.5 hours playing in the Parks. This week we spent more time playing than I did working, and I still worked my usual 40!
Thankfully the DPN Cool Kids are gone and I can get back to normal...
This week I give you my thoughts about Mousefest as I go thru the day by day, and wrap it up with the DPN More Fun than watching Plants Grow ride on the Land Boat Ride (Living with the Land)

Hey! This week The Bleepin Wife, Mimi (remember her?) and I head on over to one of the oldest (and newest) attractions in Central Florida, Cypress Gardens Adventure Park. If you have an annual pass to any theme park, you can get into Cypress Gardens for free up until December 24th for as many times as you'd like!
We had a great time and would highly recommend the park to anyone who wants a break from the norm. It's very quaint, I mean incredibly quaint. So take yer Disney AP over there and relax!
If you head on over to the DPN forums (you know the address by now!) there's a special added bonus feature over there in the ToV forums.
Tue, 28 Nov 2006 06:07:00 +0000Woot! I'm back after a short haitus in Tallahassee (it was a good time if you're wondering...) WONDERS OF LIFE IS OPEN!!!!!!! So of course on day one (Sunday) I was there. Come along and learn where babies come from in the Making of Me, and then after you make a baby, 12 years later that baby grows up to be a child of the 80s in Cranium Command! Ok so the two attractions aren't really connected, but in my world they totally are! I learned a lot in the Making of Me... I'm so immature! Special guest is DrDuck and family from the DPN forums! (Great people!!!) As always, have fun!
Tue, 14 Nov 2006 12:16:00 +0000This week we feature el Rio del Tiempo (the Mexico Boat Ride) with commentary by the Meandering Mouse, the Bleepin' Wife and myself. After that I discuss the joys of podcasting and meeting new people when they come to Visit WDW.
Fri, 10 Nov 2006 06:04:00 +0000This week the Meandering Mouse, the Bleepin' Wife, and I headed to Disney's Animal Kingdom to take a preview of Finding Nemo the Musical! Here'e the first glimpse, binaural recording! For a different perspective, check out the Meandering Mouse Podcast as well.

It’s the Trapped on Vacation Halloween Spooktacular!
This year there’s no Treehouse of Horror, and no Hall of Dead Residents. My skin is still crawling from last year’s visit! However I have Halloween treats up the Wazoo!
This week join the [censored] Wife and I as we experience a special Disney Spooky Experience for the first time ever! (Thanks to DPN Forum Member Artjaro for the suggestion! After that The Vacation Fiancee (we weren’t married when she recorded it) fulfills a listener request and heads to The Bill and Ted show at Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios!
Note: The first half of the show is G rated at Disney, but the Bill and Ted Show is about the same rating as

This week we head to St. Augustine to explore the Fountain of Youth, then take a trip on the Seas with Nemo and Friends, and we wrap it all up with a ride on a Classic Carousel (with a special announcement.)

This week we head to the 11th annual Epcot International Food and Wine Festival. Performing as part of the Eat to the Beat Series was Starship, either one of the best, or one of the worst bands of the last 20 years depending on your point of view.
This is probably among my favorite episodes to date, not because of the content, but because of that fact that the Vacation Fiancee and I had a great time listening, watching, and especially making fun of the Band. Usually I don't listen to the entire show when I finish, but I had to listen to it all the way through once I started because I couldn't stop smiling!
The first song has loud levels, and I noticed it while recording, so when the song finished I stopped recording and lowered the levels a bit, so the rest of the set sounds much better!
Due to time constraints, I did little editing or cutting, and no bleeping whatsoever. I really don't remember using any foul language, however the VF and I discussed some adult topics in regards to groupies of 80's bands.
Music at the end is by "The Chicken Nuggets" you can find them on iTunes!

Hey everybody I'm back!
Took a week off due to my trip to Michigan (and a few other personal reasons...)
This week I have some Audio from the Orlando International Airport (MCO) that I took when I landed. Then I head over to Sea World and I take in the program that replaced Budweiser Beer School: The Brew Masters Club. What a great time!!!
I wrap it all up with a quick review of the International Food & Wine Festival, and I do mean QUICK!
Have fun! Although if you're under 21, legally you can't listen. However if you listen quick when the bouncer isn't looking you might just get away with it. Slam it!!

Come along as the VF and I hang out at Ron Jon's Cape Caribe Resort in Cocoa Beach, then we head to Epcot to take in a set of Mariachi Cobre. After that it's all about the World Famous Ron Jon Surf Shop.
Please note: Because of my "pseudo-Vacation" last week, and my vacation to Michigan for the pre-wedding reception this weekend, this show and next weeks show will be minimal. The wedding's coming up quickly, and there's not going to be a ton of time to sit back and put the podcast together, so bear with me! I'm still planning on doing something every week, just not a ton...Thanks!

Come along with me as I wander around Epcot, take you to the Tiki Room, and then take in a set of teh British Invasion for Mr. Mark! Have fun!

I can't believe that it's been a year since I began, but it's Trapped on Vacation's First Anniversary!!!
Join me along with a cavalcade of celebrities, guest stars, (and John) as I count down the Top 3 (and more) Moments of the first year of ToV as voted on by a ton of listeners. I had a great time putting this show together, and I hope that you enjoy it!
Thanks again to everyone that made this show possible, and of course to every single listener who has stuck with me for so long! You're the best!
Mon, 28 Aug 2006 03:23:00 +0000Hi all... just a quick little thing this week.
Tue, 22 Aug 2006 10:30:00 +0000This week we head to the Disney-MGM Studios for the last week of Who Wants to Be a MIllionaire? PLay it! and then thanks to Brian, we hear a bit of Bjorn Again, a Tribure to Abba from Epcot. Have fun
Thu, 17 Aug 2006 04:49:00 +0000Sorry for the delay this week everyone! (See the post on the DPN that explains why...) This week we take a break from the Florida Summer heat as we enjoy all of the water rides at Universal Studios Islands of Adventure. The audio on Bluto's Bilge Rat Barges and Dudley Doright's Rip Saw Falls was taken in a waterproof bag. That means no binaural goodness, but the Jurassic Park segment had the good mics. (JP usually doesn't get as wet, but you can hear some staticy sounds at the end where a tiny drop of water got on the mic...) Hope you have fun and stay cool! Music inspired by the park... Wed, 09 Aug 2006 05:45:00 +0000This is my favorite type of episode... Lotsa hanging out and having fun! We hit the Magic Shop at Universal Studios, and then watch Universal 360, the new nightime "spectacular" over there. Hope you have fun! Links: MiceCast Jonathan Coulton (Played at the end!)
Mon, 31 Jul 2006 11:27:00 +0000I'm back after taking a week off for the Vacation Bridal Shower since my mom was in town.... This week I head to Epcot and catch some live entertainment with Mo'Rockin' in Morocco. After that I visit our neighbors to the North in the Circlevision 360 film, O'Canada. Have fun!

This week, I wrap up the Trapped on Vacation 3D Film Festival. I'm sad to see it go because that meant that I'll have to actually plan my shows again! The good news is that I'll probably be knocking more stuff off of "Earl's List." in the upcoming weeks/months. So pull out your 3D glasses one last time, sit back and relax and enjoy Mickey's Philharmagic (starring Donald Duck...?)
After that we head out of the Disney Bubble and into the alternate universe known as Islands of Adventure to ride Dueling Dragons. Hold tight to all of your personal belongings, this here's the wildest ride in the medievalness!
As always, have fun!
Thu, 13 Jul 2006 02:08:00 +0000After some technical glitches, ToV 45 is finally up! This week I continue with the Trapped on Vacation 3D Film Festival as we hit Spiderman at UNiversal Studios Islands of Adventure. Then we investigate how the Mythos Restaurant can be the best Theme PArk Restaurant in the World if it's never open... After that we head to the Disney-MGM Studios (with a nod to Jeff from Houston with the travel directions) and hit Rock N Roller Coaster for a very interesting ride w/ no on ride audio and music... Then we wrap it all up on the Vacation Home Patio with a very Special Member of the DPN Family as he stops by with his Brother to visit after we spent the day at Typhoon Lagoon. Have fun!

Sun, 02 Jul 2006 01:14:00 +0000Pirates is in soft opening today, so I rushed over there after work and got some audio. That pretty much sums it up! This is an extra bit, and the regular show will be up by Monday morning as usual. Have fun!
