'''Judy Kemp''' is a woman who came into the hospital with an enlarged spleen.

==History==
Judy came into the hospital with severe abdominal pain. They saw that her spleen was enlarged. They didn't know why, so they planned to remove it to determine why it was enlarged in the first place. Judy was taken into surgery. During her surgery, the hospital technology started to malfunction. After the power went out for a moment, Meredith decided to convert to an open surgery. She called for blood, which Levi was unable to get due to the hack. Desperate, Meredith asked the OR staff if anyone had the right blood type. Levi was the only one to volunteer, so he was hooked to Judy to give a direct transfusion.

==Notes and Trivia==
*She was 45 at the time of her hospitalization.
*Her blood type is B-.
*She'd never been in the hospital before her surgery.

They loaded him into a helicopter. On the way, his tube came out, spraying blood everywhere.

'''Ms. Baner''' is the mother of [[Frankie Baner]].

==History==
Her son, Frankie, had had a stroke due to a disorder that made his blood clot more readily than normal. He was in the hospital to have an AVM embolization when the computers were hacked and blocked access to Frankie's medical records. This left them unsure of if he got the vitamin K to reverse his anti-coagulants. When Frankie developed a headache, they ran a CT, but it didn't show anything, though it was likely it was too early to see anything. As he worsened, Jo raced around the hospital, trying to track down the nurses who had worked on Frankie to see whether he'd gotten the vitamin K or not. Meanwhile, Alex and Amelia continued monitoring him and decided based on his medical history to give him the heparin, just as Jo learned that he hadn't gotten his vitamin K, so heparin would kill him.

==Relationships==
===Familial===
Her son had a blood disorder that caused his blood to clot abnormally.

'''Tim Ruggles''' is an IT tech at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital.

==History==
Tim responded when Bailey called IT due to an issue accessing medical records. He was shocked to see that all the computers were having problems, on top of the heart monitors malfunctioning. They then watched in horror as a message appeared on the screen, declaring that Grey Sloan had been hacked and was demanding a ransom.

When the FBI arrived, Tim worked alongside them. When Webber wanted to pay the ransom, Tim informed him that the less than 5,000 bitcoin the hackers were asking for translated to almost $20 million.

==Career==
He works in IT at [[Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital]].

'''Agent Heyward''' is an FBI agent who responded with the computer system at Grey Sloan Memorial was hacked.

==History==
When Grey Sloan Memorial was hacked, Heyward led the team of FBI agents that came to the hospital to stop the hack and restore normal function. He quickly ordered everyone to turn off wifi on their phones and stop using all technology. Then his team set up to track the hack and try to restore normal function. In a desperate attempt to restore function, Webber suggested just paying the ransom. He was shocked when he learned that the amount the hackers were asking for was close to $20 million. When Bailey asked Jackson to loan them the money, Heyward said it was a bad idea, as it would open the door for other hospitals to be hacked in the same way, putting thousands of others in danger. They continued to work on the hack, but Bailey eventually got tired of waiting and decided to call Jackson and get him to loan the money.
