The Lycra/wool weft trick is stunning. Can you recommend a draft to use it on with a 16 shaft loom?

Wow Kaz! How lucky you were to witness the fire hydrant annual exercise! I agree with you that there is so much to benefit us in a visit to Japan. I August I stayed in Osaka as a base, but went up into the mountains (Hira) and explored the ancient houses, and back in Osaka the Woodwork Museum. There is a calmness and preciseness that I still feel from my third visit to Japan! Thankyou for you stories.
