Cutie Princess Mummy

Am blessed to have 2 princess in my life, still learning to become a good mummy, wife, and of course a better me! :-D

Updated: 2015-09-17T14:52:46.253+08:00

Meimei start going to Jiejie same kindy since June, i am happy that she didn't make much fuss attend to school.

She didn't even cry for the first 3 days, eventhough no one accompany her to kindy. Mummy expect her to be a independent gal and also mummy counting on Jiejie oso to take care of her. Well, on the forth day she start cried (may be she knows kindy is not her own territory not like my parents in law plc or at home).

Well, mummy must said that she was clever to give reasons when mummy asked her. She claimed that she 'become smaller' not big enough to attend school. Mummy was really amused by her reason. She used that reason for 2 days i remember. But mummy also very clever to tell her that no one can become smaller only bigger. And also telling her firmly that she need to attend to school.

The second week of schooling, may be she saw that the reason she give couldn't make mummy buy in...this round, she gave another reason. She cried & complained that the transporter's car is not comfortable! and for that she doesn't want to schooling. Yea, she is a clever gal, i must admit! clever to make up all those reasons! :P Well, mummy still send her to kindy without compromise.

Thank God, meimei eventually didn't complain anymore and didn't cry also in kindy. That was the 2nd week not even end. Mummy is really glad for that. Now, she is more than happy attend to kindy. Every morning, she is the one wake up earlier than her sis and asked kakak to prepare her to kindy.

For mummy, nothing is happier than seing meimei happily go to kindy w jiejie every morning. Well done, my meimei! my lil princess! Must praise jiejie oso, especially the first few days when meimei cried in kindy & keep looking for jiejie. Jiejie busy taking care of her until didn't eat much during her bfast time in school! she complained she only ate one bowl (usually 2-3 bowls) and get hungry even b4 the school end! Hahahaha!

Some photos had been taken and will be loaded soon...

Happy Birthday to Me!

Happy Birthday to Me, Happy Birthday to Me, Happy birthday to Me Me...Happy birthday to Me!!!! :-)

Just had my birthday cake bought by 'Ah Yee'....Well, one year older (officially).

Birthday wish : My family, relatives & friends always stay healthy & happy! and for mummy - to be continue look young...hehehe! Oh, last but not least - to lose 5kg (well, same old wish for the past few years!) Still not success yet! :-)

Very few moments the princesses can be together peacefully with no fights & no cries! And the most amazing part was mei mei let her jie jie to comb her hair without much 'protest'! (Jiejie was trying to tight meimei's hair, and she was not successed at the end! as expected! Hahaha!)

~7th Wedding Anniversary~

Last Monday (26 May) was daddy mummy 7th Wedding Anniversary. Yea, 7th years! A lot of ppl says 7th years is the year when the 'itching' feeling start, not sure how true is it. But i definately agree that both parties need to make effort to keep the relationship 'hot'! 'hot' dates, 'hot' nites, 'hot' figths may be! :P

We have gone tru a lot of challenges, up & down in these 7th years. Hopefully our relationship will grow stronger and celebrate many more 7 yeeears together with our princesses! :-)

There was a funny moment this year, when i gave daddy his anniversary gift, mummy wish him 'Happy Itching!' yea, i really said so! And when daddy saw his present he laughed loudly and happily thanked mummy's permission for 'itching'! Wanna know why daddy said this? Look at the present i bought for him!

A lesson learned : Be more careful when choosing the 'important big days' gift! Hahahhaha!

Hooray! Kakak Robiah is STAYING!!!

Early of the year when mummy asked if Kakak Robiah wanna continue her 4th year of service with mummy. She was happily accepted the offer and immediately called back her hometown to announce that she will back for holiday in this middle of the year. Who knows at that same night, her mum called her back and asked her not to continue the contract. She wants her to stay back in hometown to take care of kids.

Kakak Robiah is a obedient daughter, immediately she told mummy she can not continue working here no matter how mummy convinced her. After a while, mummy was give up and already start to look for a new maid last Apr. I even asked around my relative & friends to help have a look on my new maid selection. Thx to the convenience of agent website, there are whole bunch of maids photos in that website.

Mummy had choose a new maid, called Agent to reserve and need to pay the fees in the same Saturday. Mummy also had booked Kakak's Robiah air ticket back to Indonesia. One night of 2 weeks ago, mummy asked Kakak if she needs to buy anything back to Indonesia. Ask her to think and plan first, later mummy will bring her to buy.

Forgot how to start the conversation she said the money she kept actually is not enough to use for a year. Mummy asked what is her plan when she out of money, if come back to Malaysia to work again, its not worth it, cos she may have pay cut again for half year for agent fees. Unless she really stay in home town and have no intention to come back. Later she think for a while, she told me she actually very happy working here and her money also not enough for his son education. As mummy saw her has the intention to stay, mummy offered her again, this time she asked if mummy had get a new maid. Well, she must thought mummy had oredi get a new maid.

Mummy ensure her if she wants to continue, mummy sure give her priority and lucky mummy yet to pay the fees, if not everything is fix. YES, this time she told mummy firmly that she wants to continue. Mummy is really delighted with her decision in fact daddy too. We both relieve that no need to get use with another new maid eventually.

Scare Kakak change her mind again, mummy immediately on that weekend bring her passport to the agent for permit renewal. :P Kakak is going back for holiday 5 weeks in July. I trust her personally she will come back but i scare her family or anything happen in her hometown will hold her back. Well, can not think too much too.... let it flow by itself.

But we are really glad that Kakak has decided to stay, especially my princesses! Cos all this while Kakak has become part of our family. The princesses even named her 'Ng Robiah' which share their surname.

Well, mummy have to pray hard that Kakak will come back as she promised after her holidays back in hometown. :-)

Daddy Mummy in Jiejie's drawing

So lovely Daddy & Mummy in Jiejie's drawing. :-)

Separation of Room

Jiejie is 4 yrs old and Meimei is turning 3 this year. Daddy think that its should be a right time to move the princesses out from our bedroom. Yea, they slept with us since the day 1 they borned.

We told the princesses that we'll turn one of the room into their room. Well, the pricesses were excited, daddy mummy brought them to Ikea to buy some furniture. And of course we get the princesses involved choosing their furniture. Finally, we bought a cabinet, table and a wall lamp for them.

Initially, thinking of buying those kids bed for them too...but the sizes of the bed frame are too small. Wasted lar if only use for 3-4 year. So we decided to combine 3-4 single bedsheet on the floor. The princesses love their beds as they jump & turn like monkey.

When daddy get everythings ready, the princesses kinda excited. as the lil room become their own territory. We move some of their books, toys and etc up there too. And surprisingly the princesses can sleep peacefully for the first few days. But after their 'new room' excitement gone, they become reluctant to sleep in that room. They wanna stick to their daddy mummy again.

Since then, mummy everynite coaxed them to sleep and thinking to walk off the room after they go to zzzzz land....but everytime end up mummy also slept in that room with them and left daddy alone out there. And this has been last for 2weeks++ until one nite daddy complained that he never expect to move the princesses out eventually the mommy is moved out too. :-P

Finally, mummy arrange 'kakak' to sleep with them. This will reduce the princesses woke up in the midnite as sometimes they need blanket or need someone to guide them to toilet.

That's how my princesses sleep separately with us nowadays. They seem already accepted the fact that their daddy mummy are sleep in another room. Sometimes, they still will wake up and go to our room. But we can see the improvement as they no longer scream or cry in midnite looking for daddy mummy.

This is definately another milestone for our princesses, and mummy hope they can sleep without 'Kakak' sooooooon.....

Backdated - Jiejie 4th birthday

7 Mar 2008 was jiejie's 4th years old birthday, this year we didn't have any party. Mummy only bought a cake and brought to their Ah Mah's house to celebrate. Well, the 2 princesses enjoyed themselves very much also as their cousin brothers were around too. For kids, as long as got playmates even there is no party, they still can enjoy themselve.

Mummy not greedy, only wish that jiejie healthy and happy always. Oh yea, recently jiejie quite disobedient, may be she has grown up and has her own thinking. A lot of time we can't just giving instruction and ask her follow as she will always asks why? May be this is consider another milestone i guess. But overall she is still a good jiejie.

There was one nite, mummy was very tired and sleepy. But the 2 princesses like still had a lot of energy and didn't have the intention to sleep, eventhough mummy had switch off the light. After an hour, mummy really beh tahan and said whoever not stop talking and go to bed....mummy is going to slap their mouth. (mummy said only, hardly slap them la)

Immediately Jiejie like very adult tone, telling mummy this : Mummy have you heard that adult can not slap kid's mouth? i was like harr?! and laughing loud! and i asked her who told u this? she said Uncle XX, mummy told her that i'll call Uncle XX the next day. Immediately, she said mummy u can not call Uncle XX, Uncle XX very busy!! See, jiejie no longer listen to instruction all the time and she has her own thinking sometimes.

I must admit parenting is really not easy, something that we learn and grow together with our lovely little ones....for me, two!! :P

Din update my blog since go back to my blog sounds so new to me. Well, a lot of things happened recently, more specifically for the whole month of March. There are 2 big things i wish to jot down are my jiejie's 4th birthday and the separation of room from my princesses. So the next 2 posts will be back dated posts. Shameful for this mummy. Anway, the feeling of coming back to blogsphere is great. If i got time sure i'll hopping to my others bloggers friends to catch up what i have left out. Am comingggggggggggggggggggg........

'Pumpkin Soup' recipie

Owe Hui Sia this recipie CENtury ago! :P REally Pai seh!

Well, its quite a simple recipie and fast to prepare too.

Ingredient :
pumpkin (cut in small pcs, easier & faster to cook)
button mushroom (i like to cut in small pcs too! :P)
potatoes & onion (cut into small cubes)
minced meat (chicken)
*1 tin of campbell 'chicken soup' (optional)

1) Prepare the above ingredient (except minced meat) and put into a pot, add some
water and boil.
2) Use fork to smash the pumpkin when its turn soft.
3) A bit salt to complete the taste.

*The tricks to make the soup tastier
a) Put more pumpkin & onion (these 2 combination makes the soup taste sweet
b) Put the tin chicken soup, this will make the soup thicker.

That's it, easy to cook rite? Suppose to cook one time, and post the photos here...but quite busy recently and i hardly touch my kitchen's stove. Let me know, if anyone has tried this recipie.

Happy Cooking! Yum Yum! :-P

Stay or Leave?!

This morning use this statement for my msn message, some of my friends very 'sensitive' keep on asking me issit me to make the choice to leave my current company or what?

Sorry to make everyone so 'geng cheong'......'da da da' is my maid la! :P

Well, my maid contract will be end this July, i had a discussion with her over the last weekend. Offer her more than 20% increment and 1 1/2 mths holiday back to her hometown. She was happy and agreed to continue her 4th year of service with me. Yesterday morning, she happily called her hometown spread the news that she will back for holiday this July.

Who knows at nite by 10pm++, her mother called her......asked her not to continue working here, command her to go back and stay. I've asked her the reason, she said her mum din tell her, only asked her to go back. She looked confused and dunno what to do.

Well, in my heart i do hope she can continue working for me as my princesses are used to her. They treat her like their 2nd mummy at home. She dotes the princesses a lot too.... But i can understand if her mum asked her to be back as she has left her own country for 3 years leaving her son & hubby back in hometown. As a mother and as a daughter i understand and hope my family to be stay together with me all the time. Same as she & her mother too, i guess....

My worries, not sure if i should get a new maid after she leave later...should i give up my job and stay at home to take care my princesses. I just scare i can't get a better maid. Then, its my turn pula to keep thinking my current working situation. Sometimes, i feel that i really lack of 'goal' or vision in my life. I dun really know what i want in my life. I am ok to be SAHM and take care of my princesses, especially after read so much of 'sick' news recently. All the young gals no longer safe eventhough as young as below 5. This make me really worry and willing to give up my own job. In other hand, i oso worry my own pocket money if really choose to stay at home. Haiii...really headached to think all these....

I dun have a solution yet, and i need some times to think....well, pray hard, pray for my maid could stay for another year, so that i no need to headache now but another one year then... :P

2008 1st trip, 1st post.....

First of all, wish everyone 'Happy New You' in my this 1st post of 2008. ^.^

Together with my few friends went to HK last week. It was a fun and shopped a lot trip. The weather there is the lowest in these 10 winter years, 10 degree.

The most unforgetful experience was lined up for about 1.5 hours just to buy a 'pork chop pao' in one of the un-noticeable shop in Macau. And also we went for the fireworks on the new year eve for count down, to quite disappointed with the fireworks, just too little la. Dunno is my expectation too high or the location we choose was not good for the view. :-(

Oh yea,one more thing was we quite frustrated to look for public toilets. It is ok if you are at those 5 star shopping malls, or else u will find difficulty to 'explore' for their public toilets. Even their most crowded 'LRT' stations oso dun provide this type of public facilities. Remember got one time, we quite tired to look for a toilet, so we ask the LRT customer service staff. Thank God, they were very generous & willing to borrow us their 'only for staff use' toilet. I even notice a lot of restaurant put up a notice outside said the restaurant toilet only for their diners. See, spaces are very limited and valuable in HK. Therefore, toilet oso very costly and valuable indirectly.

Talking about shopping, we few woman really can shop, half of our trip were shopping days. From day till night, nope, should say till mid-night. Each time reached back hotel and rest, my legs were like not belong to mine and once collapsed on the bed, can't stand at all. But so strange, the next morning the whole body feel energetic and can go for another full shopping day. What a miracle! As now is the winter time over there, most are the winter wear.....i only buy few for princesses and hubby. Can not buy much la, can not use here later. Only wait for going to Genting or Cameron. But they are really cheap...myself, lou gong, & princesses every each jacket not more than RM40.

Eventhough i went to HK before, but i almost forget most of the places and stuff over there. So this time, also like a lot of 'refreshing' memories. I must praise my hubby for taking good care of my princesses when i am not around. In fact, daddy said the princesses were more well behave when mummy is not around! :-P

Ok, photos to be uploaded later......

Pre-X'mas Party

This is a backdated post.

Had a pre-X'mas party on last Sunday, 23rd nite....It was a small & sweet family gathering. As expected, the kids are the most excited as they get several gift each on that day. Everyone seem to enjoy the party. Mummy had prepared few simple dish : spagetti, salad, bacon+sausage, potato salad, pumpkin soup, sandwiches and etc...

Eventhough mummy quite tired after the party, but frankly speaking i like this type of festive family gathering. Got a event purpose + gathering.....not only makan saja! If i no need to cook, i will be more happy i think! :P

The princesses were very excited as this year they know to appreciate more, and after the party, Jiejie ask for a new present everyday! Think this is the side effect of having X'mas party i guess! :-P

Merry X'mas!

Today's office really quiet and no more 'hoo haa' cos more than half of the team was on leave. Yea, X'mas Eve...thinking of it, where got mood to work?! Some more, had a X'mas party at home last nite, today still a bit tired la.....

So, i had a very nice steamboat lunch with my colleague just now....we so called X'mas Eve Lunch. Now, wait for another half an hour, we are going for very last min X'mas shopping! Hehehe...

Wanna wish everyone Merry X'mas and Happy New year!

Fry rice, fried rice, fright(ening) rice.....

Last Saturday suppose to bring my princesses and hubby to one of my colleague's house for gathering....Out of sudden, my princesses & hubby all got flu! Dunno who pass the virus to who la...End up, all of them went to see doctor last weekend! See, mummy always quote, mummy is the strongest at home! Once again to prove myself right for that statement! :P

The gathering was 'pot-luck' style, mummy suppose to provide 'fried rice'. Kakak early morning already cooked the rice....Mummy looked at the rice, headached! So much of rice how to finish? As the rice was cooked quite sometimes, when ate the lunch time, my pricesses oso dun wanna eat....told me the rice no good, very hard wor...

So, no choice, have to make fried rice lor...So Saturday nite, fried rice for 3 of us (Ah yee, mummy & Kakak) and marcaroni for those who were not feeling well. Ok, first fried rice was 'yong jou chao fan' ....... Later at nite, when mummy still wonder how many more fried rice i need to make....Ah yee told mummy, she is willing to take some as she has to work the following day Sunday! Happily, mummy cooked 2nd type of fried ricce on that day! This time, mummy cooked 'Kampung' fried rice!

Wait, the rice not finish yet....and last nite, mummy cooked the 3rd type of fried rice....dunno this time call what fried rice! The fried rice even can fill up to 3 same containers! Daddy brought one box for his bfast, and mummy brought 2 to office...Later will have 'fried rice' lunch with mummy's collegue! Ok, No more 'fright' rice for mummy at least for another few weeks!! :P

Flirting? OH NO!

This is a backdated post.

Daddy was away to Jakarta for the last 2 weeks, well mummy suppose to go home earlier when daddy was not around. Unfortunately, mummy was being tide up with the office workload and THANKS to my boss oso, always look for mummy at the last minutes before i left office.

MIL had query too, and asked me to go home as early as possible. Last Tuesday finally, i left office early and went to do a facial treatment. As usual, facial treatment end for 2 hours, and i reached my MIL place even later.

At first i din realise anything, when reach my own maid came to me and asked, 'ma'am, why u wear ur blouse reverse side yea? Oh no, i din aware i wear my blouse 'terbalik' (reverse side) after the facial treatment. I had change my blouse and wear the special 'robe' for my facial treatment earlier....

Ok, now....if you are my MIL....What do you think? This dotta in law always come home late when her son is not around, sumore came back with blouse 'terbalik' (reverse side)!!! OH NO......

Well, daddy is back, and today is the first day he goes back to MIL's place, let's see if MIL has any story to tell daddy? I hope i think too much here.... :P

Yea, there is a very jealous lady in my house lately. Not jiejie.....not meimei.......but this mummy!! Yes, mummy is very jealous recently. Jealous to who?

The answer maid : Kakak Robiah! Well, the story begin with the last 2 weeks when mummy was sick, the 2 princesses were sleeping with kakak as daddy not able to handle them both to sleep. And, after then, the 2 princesses like to sleep with kakak and not with mummy anymore! :(

Mummy has been played some tricks, hopefully the princesses will come back to sleep with me. By telling them how mummy will miss them if not seing them sleeping around me. Jiejie is mature enough to pity mummy, so she came out an idea to sleep one nite with mummy but sleep with kakak the following nite and so on.... When mummy asking for more nites, she told mummy ...mummy still have meimei to accompany mar.....

Yea, meimei every nites will agree to sleep with mummy at the beginning, but will always go down to kakak's room at the end .....looking for her 'yao yao' (swing)! End up the 2 princesses sleep with kakak for countless nites.

I've asked jiejie why she likes to sleep with kakak? her answer not kakak she choose to, but kakak's room is nicer to sleep wor....Daddy & mummy had been analyse the situation, we concluded that the princesses might feel more secure and safe sleep in kakak's room as her room is smaller and more quiet. Our bedroom sometimes can be quite noisy, as all types of sounds can be hear due to the fact that the room is facing to the main road.

Well, daddy is away to Jakarta for these 2 weeks, mummy had begging the 2 princesses to sleep with mummy. Luckily 'po po' is visiting us for a week, and the princesses had switch their preference from 'kakak' to 'po po' these few nites.

Thanks to 'Po po' the princesses 'indirectly' sleep with mummy as 'Po Po' will accompany them to sleep in mummy's bedroom! :P

Daddy is fine for the princesses to sleep separately as he is in the view that they sooner or later also have to sleep separetly but mummy feel a bit sad..... Yea, mummy is still hunger to sleep with them, like to see their peaceful way of sleeping (very angel's look), like their smell, like to touch them when mummy sometimes woke up in the midnite.....Wah, sounds like mummy very disturbing in the midnite horr, no wonder they choose to sleep with kakak not mummy ler.... :P

Mummy really dun mind to sleep with them eventhough sometimes the princesses can be very fussy in the midnites, cos to mummy...... the princesses grow very fast, so appreciate when they are small, they still stick with you....if not sooner or later, when u wanna sleep with them (like now ler) they also dun want!! Yea, mummy will not give up, will try to come out more 'tricks' to bring them back to sleep with mummy!! Mummy next 'big mission'!!

You made me proud!

Today is jiejie's nursery Parents Day, early morning mommy went to see the principle to get jiejie's progress report.

According to the teachers & principle there, jiejie is doing very well in her class. She is very helpful to the teachers and friendly to her friends too. The principle told me jiejie is like a 'class monitor' nowadays in school and she is the only student who shows leadership in her class. All the teachers give her very good comments and she score all '1' (excellent) in her progress report card. Yea, 3 yrs old where got all those academic subject, but more on their skills, attitudes and etc. No matter what it is, mummy oredi very happy and proud to listen all those 'highly rated' comments hopefully not 'over-stated'! :P

To my jiejie : Mummy is glad that you r doing well in school, keep up the good work, darling. Mummy hope you continue enjoy your school days and happy always. I love you, darling! :-)

What to buy?

Today feel much better! FINALY! But hor, now Mummy has another issue to think....

Just got $200 vouchers from my office, yea not much...that's y i can't decide if i should go for skin care, fragrance or some wearing apparel! Really can't decide! Its not $2000 but only $200, so whatever i buy sure hv to top up my own pocket money!

Well, few of my colleagues use the vouchers to buy a pair of 'CROCS' for themselve and they pursuading me to do so too....

So much to buy, yet too lil money to spend! :-P

Money not enough! :-P

Since last Thursday, mummy was down with fever for 2 days, later with very serious throat infection till now still suffering...

I couldn't eat most of the thing for the last 2 days, may be due to the ulcers or throat swelling i hardly can eat any food. My troat is so painful when the food reach that area, like burning till my tears out. Porridge out, soup kueh teow out, even my own home cook soup oso can not dun even mention for others solid food. So yesterday, suffered hungry all the day...and may be due to shout at the princesses few nite, it was getting worse. Not even can drink a small pack of milk. GOSH! really can't find a word to describe my suffer and torture!

In fact yesterday early morning, mummy went to see another doctor as the medicine given by the first doctor seem helpless to my sorethroat. This round, the doctor is quite old & experienced, he advised to get injection as my throat infection is very bad. Initially i agreed, when the doctor asked the nurse take our the jab, suddenly something came in my mind and asked how much is the jab. Lucky i asked, doctor said the jab costs about RM50...aiyah, i only brought RM50 out and i had bought some lil groceries before proceed to the clinique. Very pai seh, i told the doctor, i will come for 2nd round as i dun bring enough money.

The doctor later subcribed some good medicines (good antibiotic lar) asked me to try at home first. If can not then, go back to do the injection. So this is the first time, mummy's money not enough to see doctor. Who knows throat infection oso need to inject wan wor.... :P

Anyway, this will serve a lesson to me too...always bring more extra money to see doctor even just the normal GP doctor, u never know what will happen... :P

I wish this sorethroat nightmare fast fast over, it's really torturing when u r hungry but u can not eat! i understand that feeling now! But look at the bright side, hope can lose some weight lar....crazy horr woman! :-D

Low Low CUT!

This morning msn with m22angels, somehow we tok about low cut....and this remind me a funny story which i wish to share here.....

On the last last Thursday, 2 days before Raya mummy had a team dinner that nite. Thought going out for dinner, better wear a nicer blouse + black long sleek pants...End up wore a new black blouse which bought 2 days ago. Well, the blouse is Rayon (soft, heavier & stretchable material ) quite low cut, but with standing position still orite.

Here is the picture of my black blouse. The blouse comes with a spagetti-strap inside, kind of 2 in one. To secure my self from explore too much...mummy used 3 small pins to pin the spagetti -strap with the bra, hopefully the spagetti won't drop here & there. Everything seems fine....

Who knows after reach office, and sitting down, half of my boobs almost come first i din really realise its so low...until a guy collegue who sitting next to me, when walking by and say hi...early morning mar, i saw his attention was on my explored part....

Since that moment, my scarf was on my neck and covered my upper body for the whole morning, and guess what?

I rush to department store and bought another new blouse first thing during my lunch time on that day and here is the pic of my 2nd new blouse. :P

Can't help, i told myself ...Enough! enough to do charity on that day!! i dun wan to treat ice cream to guys' eyes anymore!! Lucky, only one guy saw my black blouse and no one was aware that i changed a new blouse to dinner. Ok, ok, i admit that i oso a very typical CINA type...hehehe!

And i did a right thing, during the dinner, i was so relax and feel safe to enjoy my crabs without worries on the low low cut!! Well, mummy learn a lesson too, when trying a new cloth in the fitting room, can not just stand there.....we must try many actions & different position. for eg. squatting (can not sit on the floor rite?!), jumpping... whatever u can think lar....cos diff position u might have diff view....Oooppps, then i scare the ppl waiting outside might getting frustrated and kick the door, how?! :P
