Yes I have any and all information. I am sorry not to get back sooner. I personally invite you and all his fans to a Requiem Mass in his honor. https://www.facebook.com/events/438782763203701/ His obituary will run in this Sunday's Nationwide edition of the New York Times. Please share the information and please attend if you can make the trip. I will be happy to speak with everyone. Eric was very private, but he was also very loyal. God bless all of you!

And as a newbie I can say both of you are right. If you just play V20 with caring a shit about Canon or history it is enough. But as a new player to not having them more then silly jokes, it is definitely to less. I have before read it since the V20 is for only around a year in German and before reading this, they felt like just typical stereotype characters that you can just trade out with other characters. But after reading this I saw now, that they have absolutely no depth. So again for new players who just came to VtM, has no Idea what is about history and do not even care and just making there own non Canon WoD it is enough. But for those who want to play with the story it really need the old adventures.

Comment on Anime Review: Cardcaptor Sakura Blu-Ray Premium Edition by Maximus Wolf

Thu, 21 Dec 2017 00:34:00 +0000

I love Cardcaptors! I grew up with the show and I HATE THE ANIMAX version! The voices are high pitched, and character Sakura is so bathetically clueless it makes me want to cry T.T You did not see the original Nelvana dub when it was in its prime. I loved how deep the story was, edited or not! Why can't they just come out with the original Nelvana dub in blue-ray? I think there should be options for those like me that loved and grew up with the original on WB. Anyone that has seen it says that Cardcaptors sucked is no fan of anime! What made it so good was it was not a lame lovey-dovey show but it was romantic how Sakura slowly fell in love with Li, and the Americanized names made it essayer for us kids who had a hard time with names! even now I get anime characters names mixed up because I have seen so many anime shows with the same Japanese names. But I can always remember the leading character's name even to this day "Sakura Avalon" and he friend "Madison Tailor", I mean come on! Even you got to admit its easier to remember and spell as a kid then the Japanese version! At least sell the writes to the Nelvana dubbed version to someone that will sell it in blue-ray form and then lets see which sells more with the public! I bet if you had both dubbed versions side by side and asked an audience to say which was better I am willing to bet it would be Nelvana's dub! YOU CANT SAY ITS BETTER IF YOU HAVE NOT PUT THE ORIGINAL ON THE MARKET! I stand by the people and for the people! Give Nelvana's version a chance!

Comment on Review: AVerMedia C285 Game Capture HD II by Darren Forster

Mon, 18 Dec 2017 19:54:00 +0000

I've just recorded about 2.5 hours whilst backing up stuff off the Sky HD box (btw it is great for this too - because for some stupid reason Sky offer you an option to "copy" stuff you've recorded but only by playing it back, you can't just rip it off their box even though it has network, USB and even eSATA which are all "reserved for future use" - although with Sky Q now I doubt whether we will ever see this "future use" being unlocked by Sky!). The resulting file is about 13gb in size. Although I've just read on here about the inability to copy the file via network.. hmmm.. that's a real pain in the ass - my PC can see the device but it can't do nothing with it apart from show me the properties page which takes me to Avermedia's website. Guess I'll have to buy a pen drive to back stuff up from it then as I'm not too keen on keep taking drives in and out of the thing - hard drives are meant to be physical things left in one place not repeatedly removed!

Not really; the biggest issue is, frankly, the game isn't especially enjoyable or, well, GOOD in the strictest sense, but the chases aren't terribly punishing or anything on their own.

I don't remember the game being overly difficult. The biggest struggle was the performance. It runs terribly for a game that isn't particularly great looking even by Vita standards and sometimes the framerate dips can make exploration feel a bit sluggish.

Welp guess I'm not gonna get Blood Drive. I imagine the chase sequences are harder due to the viewpoint?

Comment on Tabletop Review: Halo 10th Anniversary Heroclix by KJ LaBrone

Just jumped back into Heroclix and this set intrigued me greatly as a highly casual, theme-loving player. Thank you for the review. Just ordered about half the set and can't wait to build some teams based around the UNSC team.

Hey, just thought I'd point out that for Morishige's 100% Darkening ending, you can interact with the 2nd wing door more than once to keep getting around 30% every time (rather than just once like mentioned in your guide). Meaning I was able to get the ending in less than a minute :D

I don't know how to do this since the old DS wifi network was taken down some years ago. I also had no idea about the Shiny legendary beasts and all that when I got diamond and later soul silver?

Comment on Review: Ninja Pizza Girl (PC) by Matt Yeager

Thu, 31 Aug 2017 03:02:39 +0000

Hello, that's awesome that as a backer you could write your own dialogue. Please note that I didn't say it was a caricature. I said the dialogue was ham fisted and felt awkward. I thought the idea of a delivery person handing affirmation along with pizza and discussing personal medical issues wasn't respectfully addressing the complex issue of gender identity and made it seem trite. If you felt that the dialogue does accurately represent conversations that have occurred then I apologize for not understanding the power of affirmation no matter how large or small it is. Regardless of the opinion of pizza delivery people you're a woman and I hope to see more games use the unique power of the medium to help others understand and empathize with others who've lived different experiences.

Hi, I'm the person the trans character is based on. I backed the game at a certain amount, which let me make my own character. Being reassured I'm a woman is something that comforts me in a time when I'm called he-she and other horrible things. It might not seem much to you, but it is not a caricature. I wrote that dialogue for the most part.

Comment on Review: Hidden Mysteries: Gates of Graceland (PC) by Peter Todich Sr.

Hi. Being a huge Elvis fan,i love this game and have played it several times. I couldn't even believe when i saw it in the store ,as i never expected one of these games would be made about Elvis. As much as i could play it over and over,I've been disappointed that it has never been followed up with any others about Elvis. The possibilities are endless. Hidden object games using his movies, concerts,Army time etc. You may not think it would be worth the cost of making these, but i'd beg to differ. There are MILLIONS of Elvis fans out there that i believe (like me) would buy up all of them you could put out. Well i've been wanting to contact someone about this for quite awhile so here it is. I REALLY hope this idea will be seriously considered, Thank you for your time. Peter Todich.....piranha4@aol.com
