Thu, 27 Mar 2014 03:09:17 +0000Sorry for the delay, it's been a very busy month. This was recorded in January but we held it till now. So before March goes away, I hope you enjoy this latest edition of the calendar cast!
Tue, 21 Jan 2014 04:03:55 +0000If you purchased one of my calendars, I have a special bonus to say thank you. The calendar cast will come out monthly over the next year and will feature stories regarding each month's photo. Regardless of what calendar you bought, there's a story. Enjoy!
Tue, 25 Jun 2013 03:28:50 +0000It's June so it's time for Kevin and I to have our annual E3 bitchfest. We discuss how Microsoft can't shut up, Sony can't seem to release a Gran Turismo game as a launch title and Nintendo is just a giant clusterfuck. My personal favorite part is finding out more than I ever wanted to know about the CEO of Nintendo of America. And I share my favorite conspiracy theory dating story. Enjoy!
Sat, 16 Mar 2013 05:51:00 +0000You may have wondered if I was on that cruise that took forever to get back to shore considering how long I've been off the show, but fear not, I'm baaaaaaaack! This time I brought someone really special with me. Not that Kevin isn't special, but she's a better kisser. Don't tell Kevin I said that.
Thu, 16 Aug 2012 03:55:59 +0000I'm trying to get shows out on a more frequent basis, even if they have less content or are shorter. So here's the first show to put that new method into action. It's not much shorter and has less content, but it's still a good one. And....we have a special guest. Wanna find out who? Well listen to the show!
Thu, 12 Jul 2012 01:51:05 +0000Wow, we managed to do a show within weeks of the last one! Amazing, I know. This episode is more of the old school Big Show you know and love. Aaron shares his stories of Iron Man, people who have nothing else to do but go to free movies, and two trips. Join us for 2 hours of goodness!
Mon, 18 Jun 2012 01:55:43 +0000If there's anything that can bring a geeky podcaster away from not doing a show, it's E3 and guess what, E3 happened again. So of course Kevin and I give you the full or somewhat full rundown of all the good, bad and ugly of E3. If you're not into gaming, feel free to skip this episode. We'll be back soon with another episode which is sure to delight and entertain...or at least try to.
Sat, 14 Jan 2012 09:00:00 +0000On this fun filled episode of the show, Aaron shares a run in he had with a photography blogger, Kevin talks about the joy of being on a grand jury, a recap of Thanksgiving (did I mention this show is out late?), and lots of talk about movies/tv shows. Enjoy!
Sat, 17 Dec 2011 23:55:02 +0000We're back and we're late because of a driver issue with Aaron's mp3 recorder. I figured out a work around but it's a slight pain in the !@#$%^&*. Regardless, here's a brand new episode for you to enjoy. On this episode we talk about podcamp, Aaron goes on vacation with a cheapskate, and karaoke with rednecks. Enjoy!
Wed, 12 Oct 2011 05:05:33 +0000This show can do amazing things...we !@#$%^&* about Netflix on this episode and BAM, they change. Call it luck, I call it the power of a very very small town's worth of listeners all feeling that desire for Netflix to unscrew themselves. But that's just part of a great show that features DJ's acting inappropriate with one of the hosts because of their voice, Kevin makes hell freeze over and we !@#$%^&* about a subject near and dear to the show...The Cardinals screwing up yet again. Enjoy!
Mon, 19 Sep 2011 13:51:56 +0000Welcome back for another fun filled episode of The Big Show. On this episode, Aaron says something that will likely give him that last .5 on the Barely scale of gayness. We also talk about how Kevin would support people who hustle, play another round of Who Gives A !@#$%^&*, introduce a new segment to the show, review some movies and talk about PAX. It's a good one, enjoy!
Mon, 18 Jul 2011 05:32:48 +0000It's July, it's time for another show, and here it is...just for you! This show is a good one. Aaron shares his story of the Olive Garden snatch incident, we argue about stuff and for some reason Aaron gets delicious treats and Aaron learns how to talk...maybe. Enjoy the show.
Sun, 26 Jun 2011 03:35:18 +0000There's three great times of the year...my birthday (well at least for me it is), Christmas (yeah I know I'm agnostic) and E3. E3, that beloved annual celebration of all things gaming. If you've picked up a controller in the past 12 months, you're probably like me, waiting for all the news and the latest trailers of all the upcoming games. So join Kevin and I as we talk about the good, the bad and the Reggie of E3.
Tue, 03 May 2011 05:47:00 +0000Well you read the news of the show going away....and just like what about bob, it ain't gone. The show is back and boy am I glad to be doing it. There's now a new full time cohost, Kevin from A Geek And His Wife and the show will be back once a month...I promise! So sit back and enjoy listening to us bitch about Jan Brewer, people on Facebook who don't know shit about me, old guys who go apeshit on me and a lot more. Enjoy!

Thu, 09 Sep 2010 04:38:00 +00003 months of waiting is over! The Big Show is back. Les from Zaldors World joins me on this episode. We talk a little shit about Adam Curry, I make Les defend the movie 2012, I talk about an argument I wanted to have with a doctor and somewhere in this show there's something interesting and funny. Not sure where but I'm sure it's in there somewhere. I'll admit this wasn't my all time best show but it's good to be back no matter what.
Mon, 17 May 2010 02:44:00 +0000The Big Show is five years old and to celebrate, we're putting out an insanely long show. But don't let the length of the show fool ya, this one is pretty funny and that's coming from a guy that almost never says anything nice about the show. We talk about why Flo from Progressive and Steve Nash should be thrown off a cliff, Poonani girl is back with gifts this time, Aaron shares his favorite moments of the past five years and we have two legendary Craigslist love connections. There's a lot more in store so enjoy every second cause God knows you've got a lot of em in this show....
Tue, 30 Mar 2010 06:06:00 +0000Hey check it out, we're back and in record time (at least for us it's a record)! And this show is a doozy. We clock in over 2 hours with not one but two Craigslist love connections, Darcy finds a new use for tampons, we share a inspiring story of a woman who wants to destroy her kids lives, and share the greatest news ever for Arizona....Oh yeah, we have a bajillion phone calls too...So enjoy!
Fri, 12 Mar 2010 22:24:00 +0000The show you love to love is back and we return with a vengance. We talk about not one but two girl on girl moments, oscar predictions, sexual harrasment training sucks and a whole lot more. Enjoy!
Mon, 18 Jan 2010 05:39:00 +0000Yeah I know, it's been a while but we're back and we have some good stories and lots of movie talk. It's a long one but a fun episode regardless. And don't forget to partake in January's prostate awareness month. Facebook will never be the same. Enjoy!Voicemail 707-456-SHOWEmail: Ihateyourshow@gmail.com
Tue, 22 Dec 2009 02:27:00 +0000For those of you who hate listening to me blab on and on about politics, here ya go, Merry Christmas! This episode consists entirely of stories Darcy and I have. Everything from assholes at Podcamp, Darcy talks about her phobia, how we suck at giving each other xmas gifts, making a waiter run away...yep it's that kind of show. And we have a great debate over what movie sucks more...Twilight or Transformers. Enjoy!
Tue, 10 Nov 2009 02:53:00 +0000This episode features quite a few "oh lord why did he just say that" moments. Some of those lovely moments include why people don't make love to a cat, a craigslist love connection goes British, a new way to think of the Nintendo Wii...yeah there's other stuff in there too so enjoy!Voicemail 707-456-SHOW
Thu, 29 Oct 2009 03:05:00 +0000On this episode of The Big Show, I interview John Marcotte, the founder of RescueMarriage.org. Fri, 02 Oct 2009 04:57:00 +0000Les from Zaldor's World joins me for another episode of the show you love to love. The audio in the beginning was an issue but give it a few minutes, it gets a lot better. We talk about what Les would do for a free cell phone, Aaron goes on a political rant, Les turns his knob and we shoot the shit about a whole lotta stuff...Enjoy!
Fri, 25 Sep 2009 05:53:00 +0000I'm gonna put it right out there...this was a great show. Yep, I'm putting the bar high and this episode meets it. Kevin from A Geek and His Wife joins me to bash Glenn Beck and oh lord does he have it comin, we talk about movies that suck, Kevin doesn't watch anything that's cool and we finish by discussing whore mode on Gears of War. Enjoy! Oh and if you listen to the end, you get to hear Darcy for the very first time.
Fri, 18 Sep 2009 03:45:00 +0000It's been a month...I know, I know. But I'm back and I brought my newly married cousin with me. Missy and I talk about her wedding (funny stories I promise), my trip to Minnesota, Obama is acting like a pussy about healthcare, PETA messes up again and Missy dreams of freakish children to call her own...forgive us it's been a while so this may not be the best show ever.Voicemail 707-456-SHOW
Wed, 12 Aug 2009 03:11:00 +0000Episode 187 is another one of the fine interviews you come to know and love from this show. This time I interview Dan Florio, the creator of RunPee.com. You're asking "what's runpee.com?" Well listen and find out. Dan gives a lot of good info on this show, so sit back, relax, go to the bathroom at 23 minutes and enjoy!Voicemail 707-456-SHOWEmail: Ihateyourshow@gmail.com
Fri, 10 Jul 2009 07:41:00 +0000I know what you're thinking...my god it's a miracle he put out another show within a week but I did it. Say it ain't so. Due to a ton of technical issues, I had to edit a few points of the show so if you hear a rough cut, that's why. I really tried to minimize the impact as best as I could. Somewhere between the cuts, you'll hear me and my blushing new podcasting bride talk about THO, dickish pranks to play on people, Sarah Palin, quizzes you have to take to join the cool kids and a bunch of other stuff. Enjoy!http://www.bigshowradio.com
Thu, 02 Jul 2009 02:55:00 +0000Yeah I know...it's been a month. I figured out how to turn my mixer back on, plugged in the mic, had a drink and called up my cousin for yet another fun filled episode of the show you love to love. I have a feeling that somehow this show will have some unintended fallout. Only time will tell. But in the meantime, enjoy our wonderful stories of Duluth's awesome abortion billboards, pregnant spiders, and a rather unfortunate 6 hour journey through mushroomland. Enjoy!
Sat, 16 May 2009 21:47:00 +00004 score and 7 years ago...wait that's not right. 4 years ago (that's better), The Big Show was started. It's come from a solo project, to a couplecast, to a couplecast without the couple. There's been sad shows, funny ones and ones that I said something that made you say "oh lord I really didn't want to know that". Through it all, I've had the privilege of getting to know some really great friends and sharing my life with you. I hope you enjoy this 4th anniversary show. It's long and for that I apologize but I think it's a great celebration with some of the people I've enjoyed having on the show through the years. Mazeltov!
Thu, 23 Apr 2009 06:33:00 +0000Yeah I know...I churned out another show in no time at all. How the heck did that happen?? Well however it happened, I hope you enjoy this episode. It features music that I love to sing or want to sing when I'm out at karaoke. I give my insights into each song and I hope you'll call up the show and share some of the songs you love to sing. For those of you about to karaoke, we salute you!
Mon, 06 Apr 2009 01:07:00 +0000In 181 episodes of this show I have done several interviews. Some with friends, some with people I have never met before I had them on the show. This was my favorite interview. Right off the bat, you should know this episode is not safe for work. It features a conversation with adult film star Kelly Shibari, and a sign of a good interview is when you learn something you didn't know before. I learned a lot from this episode. I hope you enjoy and if you're a first time listener, I hope you'll stick around for future episodes and check out some old ones too.Voicemail: 206-202-4965Email: Ihateyourshow@gmail.comWebsite: http://www.bigshowradio.com
Fri, 03 Apr 2009 06:27:00 +0000Sorry for the repost. I was informed by some people that the show was not coming down the internets so I'm putting it back up to make sure it's available to all. Thanks and if this is your first listen, enjoy!
Wed, 18 Feb 2009 06:25:00 +0000If you like a show that is 2 drink minimum without the drinks, this is your episode. Oh man we're all over the place on this one. Les from Zaldor's World joins me to talk about Singstar, whiggas, Jesus loves rappers, a top 10 list for you bbw's out there, Aaron gets some gloat time in about the Cardinals and a whole lot more. This is a pretty damn good one so enjoy!
Sat, 31 Jan 2009 23:08:00 +0000On this episode, Joe from Cheap Date joins me to talk about Blago, our favorite Spice Girls songs, a really messed up Craigslist love connection, and a few flicks you can check out. Due to some recording technicalities, some of the show had to be edited out and re-recorded. If you left a voicemail, I'll be putting out a minicast later this week.

Mon, 01 Dec 2008 05:16:00 +0000In our lives, we sometimes fall down but as Batman's dad told him, falling down is our way of knowing how to get back up. This is the last of the 3 part series of shows that talk about what happened while this show was off the air. On this episode, I talk about what happened during my stay at Desert Vista, how I came to the realization that my life had to change and a little bit about my life today. Most importantly, I have some things to address to specific people and I'm glad I was able to get the chance to do just that. Just as an update, I now have an apartment lined up so I should be back on the air for a more regular timeframe beginning at the end of this month. Thanks for listening.
Sun, 23 Nov 2008 07:25:00 +0000This is episode 2 of a 3 part series. This episode discusses a very difficult day, the day I found out Jenny wanted a divorce. This set off a chain of events that I detail in this episode. If you know anyone out there who is in dire straits like I was, get them help. Please. I'm alive today because someone cared. This show is dedicated to the 19 year old kid who took his life yesterday on the internet while people cheered and laughed at him. I understand his pain and it's a sad day when people cheer on that kind of agony.Email: Ihateyourshow@gmail.comVoicemail: 206-202-4807

Tue, 19 Aug 2008 02:18:00 +0000Yeah I know I said the show wouldn't be out till Friday but since I'm leaving for Minnesota on Friday, I thought I'd get it out there early. This show is definitely not work safe or kid friendly. 8 of us drunkards gathered in our hotel room for a great show. Sun, 27 Jan 2008 21:58:00 +0000Aaron returns with a very special guest for 2 drink minimum episode of The Big Show. Who you ask? Well listen to the show but I will say that I haven't spoken to this person in a really long time. So what do you say to someone you haven't talked to in a long time? How about talking about the size of Nicole Kidman's forehead, how not to interact with adult entertainers, parties gone horribly wrong, angering lots of people via email and so much more. Of all the episodes of this show that I've done, this one is easily near or at the top of my list. Get ready to google Shell Lake Wisconsin, here comes 2 drink minimum!

Tue, 25 Sep 2007 03:37:00 +0000Today I found out some tragic news. My best friend of 28 years took his life last Thursday. This is a very difficult time as I am struggling with how to feel about what has happened. Part of me is very angry while part of me is feeling a deep sorrow. My friend, Phil, lost his younger brother to suicide 12 years ago so it's hard for me to understand why he'd follow in his brother's steps and hurt so many around him. For those of you who have emailed me and sent me messages via Twitter, I sincerely appreciate your kind gestures. I recorded a show in tribute to Phil tonight. Since I will not be able to attend his funeral on Thursday thanks to US Air's greed, I thought maybe I should talk about my memories with him and what he meant to me.
