Best 'Supernatural' Quotes from 'Mamma Mia'

Fri, 21 Oct 2016 04:58:47 GMT

Here are the best and funniest quotes from Sam and Dean Winchester?s adventures in the 2nd episode of Supernatural season 12. Also, check out my recap of this episode.

Official Synopsis from the CW: "Dean (Jensen Ackles), Castiel (Misha Collins) and Mary (guest star Samantha Smith) have a lead on Sam (Jared Padalecki) and set out to rescue him. Dean is uncomfortable with putting Mary in danger but she insists on going along. Meanwhile, Crowley (Mark Sheppard) is tipped off that Lucifer has taken over the body of rock star Vince Vincente (guest star Rick Springfield)."

'Grey's Anatomy' Recap: Are Owen and Amelia Having a Baby?

Thu, 20 Oct 2016 20:53:30 GMT

In this week's Grey's Anatomy, Meredith reminds us in her signature voiceiover that doctors sometimes give good news and sometimes bad news. It's part of practicing medicine. And so it is, too, in "Both Sides Now," a solid - if not spectacular - outing in which there is too little Alex Karev and way too little MerThan. On the upside, I particularly enjoyed the character groupings this week as well as the return of focus to actual...wait for it...patients. Plus, any episode which features multiple scenes of Owen Hunt taking care of Baby Harriet is A-OK in my book.

'Legends of Tomorrow' Recap: The Legends Meet the Justice Society of America

Thu, 20 Oct 2016 18:51:14 GMT

After the big season 1 cliffhanger with Rex Tyler, Legends of Tomorrow put the introduction of the Justice Society of America on hold. Season 2 did not pick up exactly where we left the show but fast-forwarded a bit and set up the new villains, the Legion of Doom, and the central mystery of the season, the disappearance of Rip Hunter. We episode 2, we properly meet the "Justice Society of America." Vixen, Obsidian, Hourman, Stargirl, Dr. Mid-Nite and Commander Steel are on the show and they are kind of awesome.

Why the New Team Arrow Is Exactly What 'Arrow' Season 5 Needs

Thu, 20 Oct 2016 13:40:00 GMT

A lot of Arrow season 5 has seen the series connect with its roots. Oliver is wearing sleeves and murdering people again. Thea is out of the superhero life and back to having a job that she is insanely under-qualified to hold. Magic and metahumans are (mostly) out of the picture and the villains are hardened gangsters and thugs once again. With all the changes, Arrow has introduced something brand new. There is a whole new Team Arrow hitting the streets and this new addition, more than anything else, is exactly what Arrow needs in season 5.

Did the Big Twist Fix 'American Horror Story: Roanoke'?

Thu, 20 Oct 2016 11:51:00 GMT

Everyone knew, thanks to countless interviews, that episode 6 of American Horror Story: Roanoke would deliver a big twist to turn everything about the show on its head. The twist's arrival was inevitable but it was unclear if American Horror Story was going to be able to deliver on the promise of the twist. Would it fix all the problems with the season?

There is still a lot of story to go and the way Roanoke has changed might not necessarily be for the better. The twist that reenactors and real life people are behind the story of My Roanoke Nightmare isn't that shocking, as most fans guessed that outcome as early as episode 3. Still, with "Chapter 6," season 6 is on much stronger (and more haunted) ground than the first few episodes led us to believe.

How Will Rip's Disappearance on 'Legends of Tomorrow' Play Out?

Thu, 20 Oct 2016 09:55:00 GMT

Rip Hunter is missing. The leader of the Legends of Tomorrow team is lost somewhere in time and space as the show begins season 2. While actor Arthur Darvil is still on the show and Rip's return to the show, in some capacity, is all but assured, the Legends will be leader-less at the start of season 2. The most that the cast has said of Rip's absence is in a recent interview with Collider in which Victor Garber said the team would be without Rip "for a while." That's about as vague and nondescript a time period as any, but Legends would be best served by having at least the first few episodes of the season be "Rip-less."

13 Times 'Arrow' Dealt with Issues of Trust

Thu, 20 Oct 2016 09:30:00 GMT

Oliver has to be able to trust his team -- both as the Green Arrow and as Star City's Mayor -- and sometimes, that doesn't work out so well. In Arrow season 5 episode 3, that was true for both his day and night jobs. With a new drug hitting the streets, Rene took it into his own hands to find the dealer and take him out, which backfired. Meanwhile, Thea tried to handle a mess she created, only for a reporter to turn on her. And in the flashbacks, Oliver found out that things weren't necessarily as they seemed with the Bratva.

Here are the times someone had to trust someone else (and whether it backfired) in "A Matter of Trust."
