'Grey's Anatomy' Recap: Alex Faces Assault Charges

Thu, 29 Sep 2016 21:16:18 GMT

I've got to give credit where it's due. Though the passing of time is a fluid and maddeningly inconsistent thing on Grey's Anatomy, this week's episode, "Catastrophe and the Cure", picked up in a logical place and moved at a sensible pace following last week's crackerjack season premiere. Tonight, Alex began to pay the piper for his actions but Jo and Andrew also felt repercussions. Meanwhile, Owen and Amelia held the world's most awkward housewarming party, the Meredith-Nathan-Maggie triangle was in full swing and April was dealt a yet another devastating blow.

Why It's Good Luke Alvez is Sticking Around on 'Criminal Minds' -- At Least for Now

Thu, 29 Sep 2016 15:00:00 GMT

This isn't the first time that the BAU has gone through a change (or two, as is coming), and the Criminal Minds season 12 premiere introduced Adam Rodriguez's Luke Alvez. As expected, by the end of the episode, he was joining the team full-time.

As with most new characters on TV shows, not everything is going to necessarily click right away with and for the new guy, and that is true of Alvez. Still, his experience in the FBI, though not with the BAU, does mean that he brings a useful set of skills to the table.

Jozea Flores might think himself the Big Brother messiah but Big Brother: Over the Top fans do not agree. Big Brother 17 player Jason Roy managed to receive more votes than Big Brother 18's Jozea to enter the Big Brother: Over the Top house. While most of the Over the Top housequests were unaware that Jason had played the game before he entered the house, that didn't stop the superfan from scheming right away. TV Guide caught up with Jason before he entered Over the Top to talk about what he would do differently playing the game this time.

Is the 'Dancing with the Stars' Cast Less Talented This Season?

Thu, 29 Sep 2016 10:33:00 GMT

It's very rare that a Dancing with the Stars season starts off incredible out of the gate. There will always be nervous jitters even among the most talented of the celebrities turned amateur dancers. Usually around week 3 or 4, though, things start to turn around. Even the most nervous and awkward of dancers manage to make an impression at that point and show some potential. Yet this is not the case with season 23. While there are a few stand-outs, the cast of Dancing with the Stars season 23 overall has been very disappointing and might in fact be the least talented cast ever.

It would have been perfect if we got more revealing walk-away scene. A little well-formed southern exposure makes a girl willing to stick around for more. So, if FOX is listening, please move the air time to a more liberal hour and consider letting the natives have a little cake.
