For years I have tried to figure out where my daughters viloent outbursts were coming from. My husband and I have been loving and forgiving to her constant violence. She even physically attacked him in April.

Kept thinking what did we do to cause her to have so much hatred! When she was 16 she was admitted into the mental ward for 3 days because of a violent episode with a boyfriend. She has always had relationships that ended up in violent ways. She has been married for 10 years, 1 child.. Her husband has terminal brain cancer. They now live next door in an apartment we own. I hear him constantly screaming and using extremely foul language towards her. After these episodes I can expect her to come over and start in on me on how I am messing with his physic. She says that being her mother she needs me more than ever. How can I help when all I get is violence thrown at me. How can I help? Being a punching bag? Can't do that it hurts too much. Mentally and physically. I have high blood pressure. He has 2 times been so violent, once to his father and this year his step-father causing them to both to just drop dead from heart attacks. I won't let that happen to me. This is how violent her husband can be. He uses her by brow beating her to the point where she has to strike out. His pit bull!
I was at wits end and ready to disown her until I sat down yesterday and saw the Breaking Bonaduce episode where he is now taking meds for Bipolar disorder. I immediatly got up and went to the computer and read up on it and she and her husband both fit the desription to a tee. What to do next don't know. She won't even speak to me without yelling and saying awful things.
Just want to say, Breaking Bonaduce has helped me to understand a problem within my family that has been an issue for 14 years.
We can't even have family holidays together anymore because of their constant violence. They were evicted from 3 homes just in the year 2006 alone. My son and his family moved to another State and don't even want her to know where they live.
I hope this is my answer, just have to find out what to do next. Thank you
