Sat, 3 Dec 2016 19:39:00 GMT

Canon Pixma MX922 Color Inkjet Printer with built-in sheet-fed scanner and fax machine for $55 with free shipping. It supports 2-sided printing (duplex), Wifi (for printing from any device in your home), and even can print onto inkjet-printable CD/DVD discs.
It has positive reviews. It has been on sale around Thanksgiving for the last 3 years in a row, and still looks like one of the better home printer deals of the year.
One downside could be how often you replace the ink cartridges. You can expect to get about 200 printed pages per cartridge, which is about half what many other inkjet printers provide.
On the plus side, replacement cartridges are very cheap. Third-party ink sellers offer 10 and 40 packs of cartridges for around $8 to $23. - $25 Skyper Credit for $17.50, 29" Ultrawide Monitor $190

AntivirusInsider likes both Norton and Bitdefender equally, so it really comes down to features and price.
If you prefer free antivirus for Windows, we use Avira. It does pop-up annoying advertising of their paid plans once every couple days, but if you just close them without approving an upgrade, you can enjoy good antivirus at no cost. There is software to stop Avira ads.

Great store to buy excellent quality A/V cables at good prices. They have many reviews throughout their site, making it easier to decide which kind of cables work for you.
People who buy a TV, Receiver, computer, printer, or phone may soon realize they need a bunch of cables. Monoprice is our go-to place for stocking up on cables cheap, to avoid paying 15 times more for cables at retail stores.
For example, most printers do not include a USB cable. Buying one in-store can cost around $25, and a nearly identical cable sells for $1.34 at Monoprice (plus shipping). - Rotary Tool Accessory Kit for $10

Thu, 1 Dec 2016 21:01:13 GMT

For use with Dremel rotary tools (sold separately). - 3 Cast Iron Skillets for $20 and $35

Thu, 1 Dec 2016 20:42:00 GMT

Most stores sell cast iron skillets for around $15 to $35 each, so a 3-piece set for $20 and even $35 are hot deals.
Cast-iron is a chemical-free alternative to "nonstick" pans. Not only is there no risk of chemicals getting into your food, but any iron that does seep into food adds healthy iron to your diet. Read the reviews to learn more about the benefits of cast iron cooking.
Be sure only use a sponge and water to clean a cast iron pan. Never use soap. Evaporate water by heating the pan to avoid water turning into rust. - Hisense 55" 4K 2160p Curved HDTV for $555 (expired: )

Thu, 1 Dec 2016 18:50:00 GMT

A hot deal IF you are looking for a curved 4K HDTV.
P.C. Richard & Son is selling a Hisense 55-inch 4K 2160p Curved LED-backlit LCD HDTV (model 55H9B2, or "H9-Series") for $480 plus $75 shipping ($555). This TV normally sells for $800, and other similar curved 55-inch 4K TVs sell for at least $800.
Includes a 4-year parts & labor warranty, according to
Amazon has a lot of very positive reviews on this TV. It seems like a big step up from their earlier models which had poor picture quality, since most reviewers say only great things about the quality. It has 4 HDMI inputs, a PC input, has built-in Netflix and Youtube with Wifi, and is compatible with wall mounts. Overall, this looks like a hot deal for someone looking for a curved 4K TV.
P.C. Richard & Son is a reputable retail store with locations in the New Jersey, Philadelphia, and New York area. - Deals Today

Other deals today: - Live TV Service for $35/mo, Free Apple TV When Pre-Paying For 3 Months

Wed, 30 Nov 2016 15:22:00 GMT

If you like having live TV, don't need a DVR, and want to same some money, this deal could be for you (with some drawbacks). According to several news reports like this one, DirectTV Now just launched. This streaming-only live TV service does not require a satellite dish or cable box, and works over your Internet connection. The good parts of the deal: They are offering an introductory plan that includes 100 HD channels for $35/mo. The $35/mo plan normally includes 60 channels, so you get 40 more channels free with this offer. This promotion will expire in a few weeks. When this promo ends, new customers who sign up will only get 60 channels for $35/mo, and the 100-channel package will cost $60/mo. The 100+ channel promotion includes popular cable channels like ESPN, USA, CNN, TBS, TNT, BBC World News, Comedy Central, Disney Channel, Nat Geo, and The Weather Channel. No contracts, so you can cancel at any time. Depending on how you sign up, you can get: Free 1 Month Trial, 100+ Channels, $35/mo Thereafter. Pre-pay 1 month at $35/mo, Get a Free Amazon Fire TV Stick Pre-pay 3 months at $35/mo, Get a Free Apple TV. This is a HOT DEAL since the free Apple TV (4th generation) 32GB player normally sells for $150. The negative parts of the deal: If you do sign up for DirecTV Now's $35/mo deal, you are sort-of locked in to the promotional rate. As this article explains, DirecTV Now can (and probably will) raise the price in the future to keep up with the cost of programming contracts. Note, DirecTV Now does not give CBS. Other local broadcasts from Fox, ABC, and NBC may not be available, depending on where you live. For example, people in Chicago can get ABC, NBC, and Fox whereas Boston residents cannot get any local broadcasts through DirecTV Now. You can always buy an HD antenna (up to $30) to get local TV channels for free, but that can be a hassle. DirecTV Now will not offer NFL Sunday Ticket like they do with DirecTV satellite customers, so you won't be able to watch out-of-network football games. There is no DVR functionality right now, so if you miss a show when it airs, you have two options: Wait 24 hours after your show airs, and DirecTV Now should have on-demand available for some major shows from ABC, Fox, and NBC for up to 72-hours. Use other on-demand apps like the NBC App and CBS All Access to see shows after they air, but those may require a separate sign-up. So, it can be a difficult to watch shows after they air through DirecTV Now. PlayStation Vue and Sling TV do have DVR features, but don't have as many live TV channels. Compare DirecTV Now channels with Sling and Playstation Vue So, this deal is a mixed bag. The no DVR and limited on-demand may kill the deal for many people with busy schedules.[...]

Computer Components: - Obihai Voice-Over-IP Home Phone Adapter for $38

Tue, 29 Nov 2016 18:08:00 GMT

Obihai OBi200 Voice-over-IP Home Phone Adapter for $50, and code NWKCMD1 applies $12 off in the cart. Normally sells for about $50.
The OBi gives free home telephone service over your Internet connection that is at least 0.5 megabit (500 Kbps). Setup with free Google Voice is easy, as demonstrated in this Obihai/Google Voice video.
Use any corded or cordless home telephone, such as a cordless phone from Uniden, Panasonic, or Motorola, and you can make and receive telephone calls. Plug any home telephone, such as a Uniden, Panasonic, VTech, Motorola, or AT&T cordless phone, and you can make and receive phone calls. A home phone saves minutes off your cell phone plan, and usually has superior voice quality with fewer dropped calls.
We have been using the 2-line Obi202 version for over 3 years, and love it.
The pros:
  • Call quality is superior to mobile phones.
  • All calls (incoming and outgoing) within the US and Canada are free with Google Voice. International calling rates are fairly cheap, too.
  • Incoming calls can ring all your phones (cell phone and home phone) at the same time, provide call screening features, and has online voicemail playback.
  • Adding an additional phone line is simple, just get another Obihai or buy the multi-line version. This is far cheaper than buying lines from the telephone company.
  • You can assign yourself a brand new phone number with Google Voice, or port over a phone number you already use.
The cons:
  • Emergency 911 calls do not work with Google Voice. Your cell phone is the only way to call for help, and you can waste precious minutes telling your address to emergency responders. Obi does offer 911 service through Anveo for $15/year, and we do recommend this. The service lives on your Obi, and routes emergency calls to your local dispatch center. When dialing 911, your home address (as entered when signing up for service) is immediately sent to dispatch, improving emergency response time.
  • There is no guarantee Google Voice will remain free forever. Google Voice could, at some point in the future, either charge for service or play ads when making calls. - Prime Members: Beauty Sample Boxes With Credit Equal To Purchase $5-20

Tue, 29 Nov 2016 16:49:00 GMT

Amazon Prime members only can get a sample box of beauty products, men's grooming, or Crest 3D Whitening Kit for $5 to $20, and automatically get a credit on future beauty products equal to the purchase. So, if you purchase the Luxury Beauty Box for $20, you get $20 off your next purchase in Amazon's Luxury Beauty products.
The idea is to sample products from a specific line of Amazon products, and you can then later buy the same (or similar) products to ones you liked. Be sure to keep this in mind, since the credit can only be applied toward similar kinds of beauty products. For example, if you buy the Men's Grooming Box for $10, your $10 credit cannot apply toward perfume or a hair dryer. - Instant Pot IP-DUO60 Pressure Cooker for $69

The $30 Prepaid Card has an expiration, but can last forever as store credit. Buy yourself a Newegg, Amazon, Staples, or Best Buy gift card with the card. Or, to use as good as cash, use the Prepaid Card to add funds to your PayPal account. - FM Radio Vehicle Transmitter Compatible With Bluetooth and MicroSD for $17 (expired: )

Tue, 29 Nov 2016 00:41:00 GMT

If your car has no built-in Bluetooth, this device may be a good purchase for you.
This plugs into the power adapter in your car, provides a USB car charging port, and broadcasts music from your smart device onto your car's stereo. It's compatible with Bluetooth mobile devices, like iPhone, iPad, Galaxy, HTC, and others. It also has a MicroSD memory card slot (compatible up to 32GB), so you can play a MicroSD card full of music or podcasts. The FM transmitter sends its signal to your car stereo.
The reviews say it also works with phone calls, but the quality may not be that good.
If you listen to podcasts, stream online radio stations like Pandora, or want to listen to anything on your car stereo, this device looks nice. - 128GB MicroSD Memory Card $25 In-Store (expired: )

Tue, 29 Nov 2016 00:23:00 GMT

Samsung 128GB MicroSD Memory Card for portable/mobile devices for $24.88 with in-store pickup. Must order online and choose in-store pickup to get this deal. This one normally sells for about $47, and similar ones for about $30.
MicroSD cards work in some Android devices (phones and tablets), the Amazon Fire Tablet, and just about any device with a "MicroSD" card slot. Beware, some older devices cannot take the large capacity "128GB" (or "128G") cards. Be sure your mobile device supports MicroSD cards of 128GB or larger, or has "MicroSDXC" listed in its specifications.
Note, "MicroSD" and "SD cards" are not the same. SD cards (Secure Digital cards) are used in many point-and-shoot cameras and laptop computers, and are not the same as MicroSD cards.
If 128GB is too much, a Samsung 16GB MicroSD Memory Card is also on sale for $7 with in-store pickup. - Instant Pot 5-Quart Pressure Cooker $49

Tue, 29 Nov 2016 00:20:00 GMT

Mon, 28 Nov 2016 19:03:00 GMT

Most certificates can be used toward alcohol (unless stated otherwise in the description), so this certificate can help save a few dollars off your night. - 4-Quart Crock Pot for $9

Mon, 28 Nov 2016 18:24:00 GMT

Free shipping. Good reviews. - Refurbished EOS Rebel T6i Camera With 2 Lenses $540

Mon, 28 Nov 2016 18:06:00 GMT

Canon's own store is selling a refurbished (not new) Canon EOS Rebel T6i SLR Camera with 18-55mm and 55-250mm Image-Stabalized EF-S STM Lenses for $540. The camera and lenses include a 1-year manufacturer's warranty.
The T6i normally sells new for $650 with just an 18-55mm lens.
If you are a photo hobbyist or want to learn how to create stunning photographs, this is a great camera. There are plenty of online tutorial videos demonstrating the settings, and providing tips on shooting various things (portraits, HDR photography, etc.).
The Wifi lets you review/download photos directly from the camera, and has a remote control feature. Mount the camera on a tripod, go stand in the camera's view, and use your phone to preview the camera's shot and self-take photos.
We shot a lot of great photos with our T6i. Here is one photo we shot recently. The photo's watermark and reduced size should prevent someone from downloading and stealing our photo, but you can still see the quality and "pop" of a photo taken with the T6i. Some post-processing is required to get a photo like this, such as Photomatix HDR software and Adobe Photoshop.
If you don't want to deal with software and a bulky camera with lenses, just stick with your phone. Modern phones can produce some great photos with ease, and filter apps like Photoshop Express and Snapchat can make photos vibrant or fun for posting on the Internet. However, if you want action shots and/or have photos printed, a phone cannot match the quality and capabilities of an SLR camera.
Also, other Canon refurbished Cyber Monday deals are available. - Avera 55" 4K 2160p HDTV for $349

Mon, 28 Nov 2016 17:35:00 GMT

Mon, 28 Nov 2016 17:29:00 GMT

Toshiba 55-inch (55L621U) 4K 2160p LED-backlit LCD HDTV with built-in Chromecast for $380 with free shipping. Most 55-inch 4K TVs sell for at least $500.
Inventory is regional, so it could be sold-out for some while in-stock for others.
Picture quality is decent, according to the reviews on, but the Chromecast feature does not work very well. Some people liked this TV, others did not.

Still our favorite battery backup/UPS for protecting computers and sensitive electronics, and normally sells for between $180 and $225. Computers can lose data during power outages, and power spikes can damage hard drives. This UPS provides battery backup, and should protect better than a regular UPS as shown in this video. 30% Off of Select Acer Computers and Monitor Netgear Arlo 5 Wire-Free HD Cameras and Router for $469. Normally sells for around $600. We have mixed feelings about the Arlo: They can run on Wifi and batteries (which means zero wires running to your cameras), but depending on range and camera quality settings, the batteries may need to be replaced every 2-8 weeks. With 5 cameras, that can be a hassle. However, the cloud setup interface is simple to use, making it a breeze to get up and running. The Arlo is water resistant, and good for outdoor use. If you are looking for simplicity, the Arlo has it. If you are looking for a good surveillance system with excellent night vision range, there are better cameras. Be sure to read the reviews before buying. Sandisk Ultra 16GB MicroSD Memory Card for $5.50. It's an add-on item, ships only with $25+ orders. [...] - 40% Off, Free Shipping, Code: HAPPYFRIDAY
