Its so easy to understand pop culture.
Richards is going to get a pass on this one, and it will be swept under the rug.
Mel Gibson, however, is still being skewered on late night talk shows and parodied at every turn.
Richards is a Jew.
Jews run Hollywood and control what you hear and see on television.
Can't let a fellow tribesmen lose face.

I don't even know what to say about that comment. Part of me wanted to delete it, but I am going to let it stand.
I will say this though: Mel Gibson is getting what he is getting because he is SOMEBODY in Hollywood. Kramer was on one successful sitcom and has been reduced to doing stand-up... and I am guessing it's not at Jerry Seinfeld prices.
That is all.

Actually Richards is NOT Jewish, people just think he is because of the Seinfeld connection. Anyway, there is really no need for him to apologize for his racist rant, because it would not be sincere. When people are emotional they usually make base comments that reveal what is truly in their heart. Obviously an intense hatred of black people is something he has always harbored and somehow repressed. An individual who actually liked African-Americans would never be able to just roll these types of hateful epithets off their tongue. And the reference to lynching was just icing on the KKKcake. As an African-American woman, Richards' lowly views of black people doesn't suprise me, racism never does. It's the fact that he had the temerity to make these statements in a room full of people at a public venue that left me aghast. Perhaps he should book his next gig on BET's Comic View?

Mel Gibson isn't getting let off the hook because he shouldn't be. Mel Gibson is a Holocaust refuter - son of a Holocaust refuter. As the daughter of Holocaust survivors I find him and his kind the most repugnant of all.
My extended family was killed by - who? Imaginary murderers?
If someone said that what was going on
in Darfur was made up - how would you react "Scoyboy". Get your facts straight before you mouth off.

By the way, Michael Richards isn't Jewish. People keep repeating that he is.
But, I saw the rant and he seemed totally out of control. If you ever watched old time comedians they knew how to come back with witty comebacks to hecklers. He seemed to fly into a rage at his hecklers and used racial slurs to vent his rage.
Which really was uncalled for.
I dare say I bet he also acts that way toward his wife/girlfriend too when he "loses" it. Probably calls her bad names too. Someone with that much rage cooped up inside doesn't just confine it to one race.
Now, this is not in his defense at all. But this is a good time for us all to take a good look at ourselves and access whether we harbor racist tendencies also.
I once worked with a black woman, who loved to talk, but also had a negative attitude. In the course of one 8 work day she called a co Chinese co worker a "chink" and "Chinese dog".
A Mexican worker a "greaser". Some white co- workers she called "crackers",
Said she didn't care for Vienna sausages because they reminded her of White boys penis's. Then as a male Chinese co-worker walked passed her, who happened to be very petite, she said she bet his d---ck was this big and made a 2" demonstration with her fingers.
Made fun of a black co worker behind her back, who she said was, a "bull dykker"( her own words).
Later our general manager stopped by and toured the work place. After he left she said, "I hate that Cracker, he's so prejudiced".
Racism DOES work both ways. And it's not right in any situation.

Hmmm so are you going to keep bringing up what happened during the Holocaust each and every time? Please be quiet and scoyboy is totally right. Hollywood is infested with Jews and they obviously dictate what we hear and watch on TV even if Richards isn't Jewish.
