With such great shows on HBO as Deadwood, The Wire, and Rome the academy is clearly playing favorites to the networks. I will not watch their stupid awards show if it is meaningless. There is no comparison between these high quality shows on HBO and the formulaic, manufactured, cookie-cutter, censored mindlessness on network. The fact that Ian McShane isn't nominated for his role as Al Swearengen on HBO's Deadwood is a travesty. He is the best actor on on TV, hands down. Grey's Anatomy? Give me a break. I liked it better the when they called it ER or Chicago Hope.
