The names off all the fallen soldiers are engraved in the wall at the Vietnam Veteran's Memorial. People come to make rubbings as a way to bring the tribute home with them.

sunstreaked shore pine

The lodgepole pine (Pinus Contorta) is a common tree in western North America. Like all pines, it is evergreen.
* The shore pine is a subspecies growing on the Pacific Coast - from southern Alaska to California.
This tree can be 30-40 m tall, but is often much smaller.
The leaves are needle-like, paired and often twisted, and 3-7 cm long. The 3-7 cm cones often need exposure to high temperatures (such as from forest fires) in order to open and release their seeds, although in the subspecies Tamarack Pine they open as soon as they are mature. The cones have prickles on the scales

being very busy and toxic
is an understatement for the week,
hence i am really looking forward to the weekend,
even it is just as loaded with things to do,
but at least a have I better chance
of going out and shoot, maybe the sunset,
or just stroll around the mall, visit a friend,
something i never got to do during the hell week...
have a happy weekend too my friends ;)
