$25 Free - No Deposit Necessary

Thu, 29 Oct 2009 15:38:28 +0000

I know that for the most part the readers here at House of Poker Blues are poker players, but I also know that most poker players like to play the occasional casino game as well. That's one of the reasons you'll find some of the U.S. friendly online casinos promoted here.

Another thing that folk like is having free money to try a site out, yours truly included. Over at www.OnlineCasinoBlues.com they have a nice little promo going on at the moment. It's $25 free with no deposit necessary. The only thing you have to do is use their code, and the money is deposited right into your players account.

I can vouch for the deal, it's all straight up. The wife downloaded the online casino, and got her $25 free in about a five minute time. For full instructions on how to get yours, just click $25 free - No Deposit Bonus .

Play Poker with Doyle Brunson

Tue, 06 Oct 2009 13:11:06 +0000

Doyle Brunson is back from playing in Europe and is ready to get back on his site to play some poker.  Every night at the $5/$10 and $10/20 NL Texas Hold'em tables you can find him grinding away at the felt. Just look for the name Tex_Dolly and see if you have what it takes to beat the living legend himself at his game.

You can also expect to see Todd and Pam Brunson as well, along with his longtime friend Hoyt Corkins. There'll be many of the Brunson 10 and other friends and pros dropping in to play cards and chat with all the players firsthand.

Play Doyle Brunson live every night Monday-Friday at 7pm ET.

The action starts on October 6th, so don't miss out on this very rare opportunity to sit in Doyle's cash game and go head to head with the legend.

Play or Watch From the Poker Lobby:
Ring Games > Texas Hold'em > Real Money

Remember, you can also bounty hunt for the pros and DoylesRoom guests for $1,000 each, up to $50,000 in the weekly Doyle's $50,000 Bounty tournament every Wednesday night at 9:30pm ET.

If you don't have DoylesRoom, just click here to get a hefty bonus as well as 33% of your rake paid back into your players account each week !

Senator DeMint and the UIGEA

Fri, 18 Sep 2009 18:14:37 +0000

As most folk from South Carolina know, Senator DeMint has supported the UIGEA. I have received letters from the Republican Senator in the past stating so.

just a short time ago the Poker Players Alliance sent an alert mail out to all members asking everyone to send a letter to their Governors and Lawmakers. Sending these letters only take about 60 seconds when using the tools that are available at http://theppa.org/ . Become a member if you are not, there is no cost and it's a good way to make sure that your voice is heard.

Anyhow, I sent the letter off and received a reply back from Senator DeMint (or his office) and thought there might be some out the in blogland that would want to read what it says. You can read it by clicking a Reply from Senator DeMint on the UIGEA.

Why Should You Play Online Poker?

Wed, 26 Aug 2009 14:10:03 +0000

Why Should You Play Online Poker? Just start at Littlewoods Poker School.

If you are asking yourself "Why should I play online poker?", you may just be experiencing dissatisfaction with your current poker room. Why not try out Littlewoods poker. Once you start playing there, you will never ask yourself that question again! It is just that much better!

A lot of potential players wonder "Why should I play poker online?" and a lot of people who already play online poker wonder, "Why should I continue playing online poker?" These are questions that often come up (usually after a losing session) and luckily for you, there are quite a few good answers.

Here are a few of them. Playing poker stimulates your mind In the world today, there are fewer and fewer things that stimulate our minds. Everything is being made easier and less intellectually intensive. There are simple directions for everything, and we hardly have to think about anything. While this sounds nice, it is not good for our brains. They need to be stimulated to continue working at their highest level. Poker offers this stimulation.

To be successful, you need to out think and outwit your opposing players.

This takes tremendous brainpower. You can also read poker news sites, take part in online poker school , and even find a favorite poker blog to read every day to further stimulate your mind.

It gives you something entertaining to do Let's be honest. Your life could use more entertainment. Whether you are a teenager with nothing to do on Saturday nights, or are a stay at home parent looking after your kids, online poker can be entertaining. It doesn't take a lot of money to start playing, you can do it from home, and it is generally a safe activity.

You can win money

Who doesn't like making money? Nobody. And who doesn't like making money doing something they really like doing? Nobody!

Online poker rooms offer you the opportunity to make money doing something you love doing. Whether you are playing Omaha Hi or Texas Holdem, poker is fun and can make you money.
