Eager for ABs, Flores taking reps in outfield

Mon, 19 Feb 2018 16:54:34 EDT

About a week ago, Mets manager Mickey Callaway asked Wilmer Flores if he would mind taking reps in the outfield this spring. Flores wasn't particularly surprised. But for the Mets, there was perhaps no more welcome sight than Michael Conforto digging into the left-handed batter's box.
