Chris Herrmann knocked in the game-winning run with a single in the 10th inning as the D-backs rallied to top the Cardinals. David Peralta forced extra innings when he hit a home run in the ninth inning off Cardinals closer Seung Hwan Oh. The Cardinals appeared in good shape after the seventh inning, as they took a three-run lead after Arizona made three errors in the inning. Jedd Gyorko knocked in two runs for St. Louis.
