Stroman battles blister to gut out 7 2/3 innings

First it was Aaron Sanchez and now it's Marcus Stroman who is dealing with a blister on his right hand that just won't go away. Stroman initially developed the blister during a start against the Yankees before the All-Star break. It resurfaced during Toronto's 2-1 loss to Cleveland in 10 innings on Saturday night at Progressive Field, but he still found a way to toss 7 2/3 quality frames.



Blue Jays fall in 10 after Smoak's late tying HR

After missing seven weeks with a right shoulder strain, Danny Salazar came back pitching as well as he ever has, and Francisco Lindor belted his first career walk-off homer as the Indians topped the Blue Jays, 2-1, in 10 innings on Saturday night at Progressive Field.



Happ matches up with Kluber in series finale

Corey Kluber returns from a brief absence when the Indians and Blue Jays meet for the final time this season on Sunday afternoon at Progressive Field. Kluber initially was scheduled to start Friday's series opener, but he was scratched because of a sore neck. He has since been cleared and will take the mound vs. Blue Jays lefty J.A. Happ in the series finale with the Indians trying to complete the sweep.



Blister forces Sanchez to DL for 4th time
