Selling your hair to make money may seem simple, but for one woman called Desiré Henriksen from Arizona, it was the difference between a sad Christmas and a happy Christmas for her and her family.

Now selling your hair may not be for everyone, but it is an easy option. Apparently the quality of the hair increases the price. The hair is used to help make hair extensions and is in big demand.

How to make quick money is the quest that most people have been searching for all their lives. In fact how to make quick money is something that most people want to do, but simply never ever do. Surely it can't be that difficult to do and if it is the case why is it that so many people fail?

I live in a place where I see millions of people going to work every day. Most of them work so very hard and very long hours, yet they never seem to ever be able to reach their golden pot. Why is it so elusive to man yet a seemingly simple endeavour?

What is it that the most of us miss about making money?

I am reading a book at the moment that challenges the concept that man is imperfect. It states that if God is perfect he would only create perfect. God created man. God said in the Garden of Eden that if we ate the fruit we would die. He did not say we would be imperfect. So maybe we are perfect, but we have grown up thinking that we are imperfect and telling each other that we are imperfect and therefore we act as if we are imperfect. But what about all our mistakes we make? How could we make mistakes if we are perfect? Maybe we do not make mistakes, but rather we give feed-back on things. Some things we do have a negative impact on others and so they see it as a mistake.

This is the theory of the book.

So I tried to apply this theory to making money and I asked myself, how would life be if we told ourselves from the start of life that making money was easy and that we did not have to go to work everyday to make it, but rather we can see it right in front of our eyes all of the time.

Is the ability of how to make quick money hiding from us simply because we choose not to see it? What would happen if we started to think differently and started to believe that we knew how to make quick money?

If not, you may need to revise some of the steps that you have done and make sure that you have done them correctly or that you are in the right niche.

It can take time to find the exact niche that you need to be in, so do not be afraid to experiment by changing the words and looking for the exact niche. There may even be areas of a niche that you have never even thought of. One of the problems with SEO these days is that it used to be a specialized service (I remember paying 4,000$ for a company to do it for me about 5 years ago) and now it can be done by virtually anyone. This means that there maybe loads of people operating in your niche.

For example in the niche of “how to make money without money” there are over 70 million websites, but in the niche “how to make money writing letters from Santa Claus there are only 250,000 competing sites on Google and most of those will not be appropriate.

So have a play around and see if you can come up with some niches that you can easily be master of, yet still have good traffic.

How to make money without money yesterday promoted the concept of joining forums related to your niche and start to get to know people by replying to questions already made in the forum.

Remember do not spam as you will be hit hard if not banned. You can also start to make new topics of your own but make them valid to your niche. Questions like "What did you eat for dinner last night?" when your niche is golf for the over 40's does not get good results so make sure your questions are relevant and also make sure that your answers are helpful. Answers such as "Yes", "No" and "Cool" do not get you noticed.

Today I want to discuss another area of generating traffic from forums and that is through paid advertising on the forum.

Even if your forum does not presently have advertising it is possible that if you approach the owner of the forum and do a deal or simply offer to pay for adverts they may allow it. Incredibly some forum owners really have never thought of it.

This is a very powerful way of getting noticed. Everytime a viewer opens a page, he will see your advert and if only 2 or 3% of the people click on it, that will result in a considerable amount of traffic.

So today go to your forums, see if they have adverts and see if you can advertise on the forums. Design your adverts and try some different styles and formats.

How to make money without money is not nearing the last few days of the 20 day challenge and I hope that you have enjoyed it and that you have learnt some really valuable lessons.

Many people will have given up by now, but if you are dedicated to changing your life I know you will be with me. You may find that you did not get the results you wanted from your niche and that is actually ok. I have had a few niches that I thought would be great only to find that they didn't work.

This is great to know before you spend a lot of money setting up new sites and businesses and that is what how to make money without money is all about. finding the thing that works for you.

If you do not have the results you wanted it may just be that your keyword is not effective or you are in the wrong area all together. You will have results by now that should answer that question either way.

If you are in the correct niche and you really want to continue with that niche how to make money without money has another way to get traffic to your site.

This is using forums. Now the way to find forums is easy. For example: go to google and type in how to make money without money forums and this will give you a list of forums to go to.

How to make money without money and wordpressdirect offer interesting combination of opportunities. By now you should have already set up your account and hopefully you have your site up and running. If not go and do it now before you begin this as without your site, non of what I am about to tell you is relevant.

Once your site is up and running, go to the control area of the site in wordpressdirect and go to the tab marked “manage content software” and you will see a number of content management systems such as Youtube to wordpress, wordpress answers and WP shopping.

What these systems do is to take content from the internet and paste it into your site based on your keywords and it keeps your blog fresh and full of relevant content and Google really loves this.

But use it very carefully.

So in between your own posting you can use this facility to import content without having to write it and keep people come to your site.

Now 1st go to “view keywords” and a list of your keywords will appear. If you need to add more keywords go to the “admin control” tab and you will see the option to add more keywords. It is all fairly easy. You should set up your keywords in the following manner. In the “category” tab choose the most appropriate to your keyword and then in the “Youtube” category do the same. I recommend that you add the “relevance” tab and change posting type to “supervised posting” This allows you to manually select the posting so that spam articles and other rubbish do not get added on. At least you can control it.

Then go to “search and add posts” and select the post that you want to add to your blog. It is that simple. This gives you fresh content and can be changed on a regular basis.

How to make money without money will soon be looking at new directions, but before we go there I would like you to think about one more service as it has one feature that I think is really cool.

If your site is a blog style site, this website is really cool as it loads your whole site, with graphics, header and even stuff like Adsense all in one go. I personally do not use the built in Adsense generator as the adverts are loaded all in a space of their own and I prefer them blended in. So I use my own code and insert it into the content with a wrap around feature so it looks more integrated. It’s up to you which you prefer.

In a moment I will tell you what the site is, but let me tell you that this site is free for up to 3 websites. Yes you can have up to 3 of your own websites completely designed for you for free. All the templates graphics and everything are included and you can add adverts and lots of other features that would normally take a beginner ages to learn to encode in html.

So what is the site? Well go to wordpressdirect and register for the free version. Now be careful if you have content on your website already as when you load this new site it will over write your site and any work you have will go. Actually you can recover it if you now how to access your ftp files and you are an advanced user. If you would like to see one of my sites using this service you can click here to take a look.

How to make money without money is about to take a new direction for some people. Up to now everything we have done can be done for free if you use the correct websites and services that we talked about already and by now you should be getting some results.

Today is decision day. We need to decide if we are going to continue with the key words we have been using or if indeed we need to start again because of poor results and this is how you tell if it is safe to go on or not.

1)Have you made any money at all? If yes great you could be on the correct track. If no, don’t worry too much as the next step will tell you more information.

2)Do you have 200 visitors a day coming to your site?

If the answer is yes to both questions, you may have a winner! If the answer is no to both questions, you may have chosen the wrong keyword and it may be time to choose another keyword. Do not become attached with the keyword. We are trying to make money here not fall in love with our keywords. Or you may need to go over what we have done and see if there is something you have missed or could do better.

If the answer is no to question number 2 then either you could be doing something wrong or you have the wrong keyword and it may be time to change. If the answer to question number 1 is no, do not worry too much as long as you have traffic. It maybe that you just need to change the book that you are selling for something a bit better so play around with other products for the affiliate sales. Looking at a worst case situation, you should be aiming to sell 1 product for every 2 visitors.

Why is it important to decide today what we are going to do? Well in the next day or two, we will be starting to spend a little money. By now, I hope that you have generated a small amount. Internet marketing is not as easy as it seems and there are 101 different ways to do it and everyone will tell you that there way is the best, but I just don't think you can beat the tried and tested ways and one of these ways is using ezine articles

So go on over to ezinearticles and if you have not done so already register for a new account.

The way to start our internet marketing is by doing it properly. So today I want you to write an article and submit it to ezinearticles. now there are many resources on the internet to show you how to do your keyword research and also how to write your articles correctly, but I recommend that you use your keyword as the opening word of the article and that you use it once in each paragraph and then it is the last word of the article also. The article that you write should be original and not copied from somewhere else.

Once you submit the article it will take a few days to be approved. Normally with your first few articles it is about 7 days, but once you get the article approved you will be amazed at how much traffic it will bring so submit new articleas on a regular basis.

So today concentrate on your internet marketing and submit your first ezine article and let's get going.

Very simply selling of all kinds is a numbers game no matter what you are selling and you must have as much traffic to your site all of the time to make a consistent amount of money.

So today is a fairly simple day but this will take you a couple of hours to do but today I want you to got to Squidoo and register and make a new lens. The lens title should be that of your key word and the content should all be about your key word also. Remember to follow the rules and do not make spam sites. Legitimate sites will give you the results.

Once you have done that then head over to Hubpages and open an account there and also create a new page with the same name as your keyword and make new original content. do not just copy content from your other sites. Make it really great content and again follow the rules.

Once you have finished these sites go back to digg, propeller, technorati, twitter and the other social sites and let the world know again as you did yesterday.

Now we need to tell the world you exist which will get you noticed by the search engines. When I did this the first time I had 86 hits in the first 4 hours to my site. This is super impressive for me and I can see great possibilities with the site and my other sites.

So now go to the following sites if you have not already done so and register an account and submit your new page from the blog to them. Do not submit the blog, but rather the individual page so that you can upload another page tomorrow and re-submit:

Delicious
Twitter

Once you have submitted your page to these sites, site back for a few hours and see what happens. For me I had very fast traffic as you can see by checking your Google analytics.

How to make money without money should have shown you so far how to set up your research and your internet site and if you have been following the challenge you should have a website up and running with your first article on it.

Now today we are going to start to monetize the site. If you remember on day four of the challenge I asked you to go to Clickbank and Amazon and register for account as affiliates. I hope by now you have done that and that you have selected the product you want to sell from those pages as a test. Remember, what we are doing here is not affiliate selling, but rather testing the market. If you haven't done this yet take a look at my links for an example of what we are trying to get you to achieve. If you have your affiliate links this is where you should put them in if you have not done so already.

The next thing you will do today is set up your tracking system. In order to see how many people are coming to your site and where they come from and a whole load more information which is really important you will need to set up Google analytics. you will need to set up an account with google and then head over to the analytics page. Once you are there you will need to enter your website address and copy some code into your website page. It may look complicated to some of you but it is actually simple if you read the instructions carefully or if you get stuck go and google it. There is loads of information about how to do it. How to make money without money 20 day challenge is now 1 week old and by now you should have done all of your research and have your keywords. You should have some affiliate links and by now you should have registered a domain name in the name of your keyword and got a host and your site should be live and running waiting for your first piece of content.

If you haven’t done any of that yet I suggest that you go back over the how to make money without money 20 day challenge and start to catch up. Don’t get far behind as there is a lot to do.

Today you will upload some new content to your site. I suggest that the first thing you do is go to a site like ezinearticles and take a look at the content there about your keyword. Also go to google and get some content also and save it to your hard drive and take a very good read through it making notes.

Now this is very important! Do Not… I repeat… Do Not copy the content of anyone else. First you may be copying copyright material which is a no no! Secondly, google likes original content. Now everyone can write something about something, especially when you have similar articles to guide you, but here are some guidelines:

1) Write original content. Do not copy
2) Make your keyword the title of the first article on your blog
3) Use a spell checker to make sure the spelling is correct
4) Try to use your keyword as the first words in the first paragraph and highlight it bold
5) Make each paragraph about 4 or 5 sentences. Visitors do not like long paragraphs
6) Try to use your keyword at least once in each paragraph
7) Try to make the last words you write in the last paragraph your keyword
8) Write something exciting and interesting
9) About 400 – 600 words is good
10) Go to www.HowToMakeMoneyWithoutMoneyBlog.com for an example

Once you have written your article and you are happy with it, upload it to your website and hey presto you have your first article.

How to make money without money will really start to take shape today. To day we will go and find a domain name and get hosting so that you can get your website up on the internet. This is starting to get exciting.

So I hope that by now you have found the main key phrase that you want to use and this is going to be the title for your website. Now the frustrating part of this may be that after what you do next, you may have to select a different keyword using the same process that we have used up to now and this is the reason why.

Next you need to go to godaddy web site hosting service and find out if your keyword is available. Now you may find that it has already been taken. But to give you an idea of what to do, you need to type in your key word into the godaddy web site hosting search bar. My keyword for my new site I am developing with my 20 day plan is HowToMakeMoneyWithoutMoney, but the keyword was already taken and so I had to use “HowToMakeMoneyWithoutMoneyBlog”. You may find an alternative by adding extensions to it, but do not change the order of the words to read “WithoutMoneyHowToMakeMoney” for example unless you find that your new keyword search allows it and of course it should make sense in English.

If the keyword is available I suggest you register it straight away as they keywords go very fast and you will never get the chance again. So jump over now to the godaddy web site hosting service and reserve your domain name using your keyword now.

The second part to today’s lesson is hosting. You will need a host to provide you storage space for your website. Now I cannot explain all about hosting here, but if you do not understand hosing please go to google and have a look there first. You will need a little bit of technical skills or ask a friend to do it for you. For a small charge I can also do it for you if you get really stuck.

I recommend hostgator for your hosting. They have cpanel which you will need and they are really great with online help and I have used them for a number of years with no problems. So go to hostgator and sign up for one of the beginner packs which will give you unlimited hosting.

If you are doing all of this without budget, you can do all of the above for free on one of the free services such as blogspot, but the problem with this is that you do not own the site. This is why I have setup my new site at www.howtomakemoneywithoutmoneyblog.com I now own and control the site 100% and it is well worth the small fee you will pay. Once you get past this stage you really do not have to pay for much more although I do recommend that you get an autoresponder such as aweber.

How to make money without money with research! The research part is coming to a close and I hope by now you have a good idea of the subject that you will be working in and I hope that you are doing the research and testing we are talking about so far.

Today’s lesson may surprise you a bit. The results you get may not be what you expected.

What you think will sell well may not be of interest to other people even though the subject matter is good. For example I have a blog called Really Stupid Ideas and it is about crazy things that people do. You may be surprised to know that it does about three times the traffic I get from another one of my blogs called The A to Z of Success which I would have thought would have done better. It is really surprising what others are interested in.

So for today’s lesson I would like you to go over to ezinearticles and take a look around before we start learning how to make money without money.

Once you get to the front page (and you do not need to register to do this) simply type in your keyword into the search bar and when the results come back, take a look at some of the articles. What we are looking for in particular is towards the very bottom of each article. You will find an area that says “This article has been viewed…” and underneath it there will be a date. You will be able to calculate how popular the article is based on the date. This will give you an idea to the popularity of this subject.

You may find that subjects like Acne are far more popular then making money articles.

Now this is not a definitive result and should not be taken as gospel, but from this you will be able to see 4 things at least:

1) How changing your title can affect the traffic
2) The content people like
3) The style of the writers
4) Similar content in your subject

Take a couple of hours to check around in different subject and make a note of the findings you get. You may be surprised with the results before we learn how to make money without money.

Now if you installed flock, up in the top right hand corner is a search bar. I want to you type in your keyword in the Google search bar and then add the word affiliate like this: how to make money without money affiliate

Now let me say that this 30 day challenge is not about affiliate marketing, but we are going to use affiliate marketing techniques in our research to see if there are any people in your keyword niche who will actually buy any products. Might be a nice keyword, but if no one is buying then you wont make any money. So we will just test using affiliate systems. I am researching how to make money without money myself and I have found a lot of really great products.

Once you have done your search in the Google search bar (actually this also works in Internet Explorer and Firefox) you will see a list of products being shown that have affiliate links. Take a look at them and see what the products look like. See if they are something you might like to sell. At this stage just look around at what is available.

Next go to the Clickbank marketplace and type in your keyword to see if there is any interest. Again this will give you a good idea of what is happening in the market place.

One place that is really great to do market research is Amazon and again go and type in your keyword to see what kind of products are available.

At this stage you are looking to see if there is a healthy market. If you can only find one or two products for sale, you maybe in the wrong market and should think about shifting to a more popular keyword. I was looking in the how to make money without money sections of Clickbank and Amazon and have found loads of fantastic books.

By the way I suggest that you go to Clickbank and Amazon and register as an affiliate with them as I want to you sell a couple of their products on the website just to see if people will buy a product. How to make money without money is getting exciting. We are on day 2 now of our 30 day challenge and if you followed yesterday’s program you should have a number of special topics that you want to work in. I suggest that you have 5 to 10 different subjects that you are interested in.

Now go to the Keyword Tool External and type in the words one at a time. After a few seconds a number of keywords will be shown including the keyword you chose, but it also gives you alternatives based around your suggestion as a fall back.

As you go down the page you will see lots of different suggestions with a load of different numbers. The most important thing right now is to look under the Approx. Search Volume and you are looking for anything over 80 to 100 a day up.

Now you need to take this keyword and enter it into the Google search bar and use quotes to enter it. For example if you are researching kid’s toys enter it as follows: “kid’s toys”.

When you use the quotation marks Google will look for the exact two words in that exact way and you are looking for a result of pages under 30,000.

I hope that you understand all this as this is a major part of making money without money. Keep on doing this until you find a keyword with good daily traffic and under 30,000 pages.

By the end of today, you will probably have a slightly different set of keywords based around the original 5 to 10 and you will have traffic figures and also the competing web pages.

This will take a little while and is a bit boring, but very important so do not skip this section. This will make or break your success.

More 20 Day Challenge Setup

Welcome back to the 2nd setup day of the 20 day challenge. If you followed me yesterday you have already setup some of the options I showed you yesterday.

If not go back to yesterday's article and follow what was done.

Ok so just to recap, I am taking part in a 20 day challenge and I am setting up certain features and websites before we start the challenge.

Today I spent sometime setting up the options and features in google reader. I suggest you do the same. Take a look around and see the features that you like and get it ready for the challenge.

Next I went over to stumble upon and got myself an account there. You will need this later so go and install the stumble upon tool bar and go and stumble for a while.

Then I went over to YouTube and opened and account there also. You can see me at millionaireanonymous and drop by anytime. We will be using you tube much more later.

Next I went to Friend Feed and signed up for an account and you can find me here at millionaireanonymous come visit me anytime. Again we will need this very important service during the 30 day challenge.

I hope that you are getting ready to join me and let's make money without money. I will show you what I am doing and you just follow me. At this stage all we are doing is setting up. The challenge has not started yet.

20 Day challenge

This is very exciting for me. I have started a 20 day challenge to make money and I will report what I am doing here. Now before we start the 20 day challenge, there is some work to do setting things up and this actually takes a bit of time. So before I report what is happening on the 30 day challenge, I will report what is happening during the setting up point and if you like you can follow to see if you get results.

So far this is what I have done:

1) I went to www.flock.com and downloaded the new flock internet browser. It is super good as you can do things directly from the browser that you cannot do from IE or Firefox
2) Went to http://twitter.com/home and registered for twitter. If you want to contact me my twitter account is http://twitter.com/timbennett if you want to contact me.
3) Went to http://www.twhirl.org/ and registered an account. Twhirl is a powerful part of twitter.
4) Opened an account with www.google.com so I can access their google reader.

I will update you as I go along. I hope that you follow me and are as excited as me about making money without money.
