What Will Happen To My Bones It I Don't Eat Dairy? 2009-11-02T14:20:55.912+05:30 I think I get this question just about every day.But the truth is, the U.S., England and Sweden have the highest rates of osteoporosis in the world - and the highest level of dairy consumption. American women have been getting an average of two pounds of milk per day for their entire lives, including milk, ice cream, cream, yogurt, butter etc. which is measured in pounds. It takes 10 pounds of milk to make 1 pound of cheese, 12 pounds of milk to make 1 pound of ice cream and worse of all it takes 20 pounds of milk to make 1 pound of butter - all extremely acidic or better said concentrated acid - yet 30 million American women have osteoporosis. Drinking milk does not prevent bone loss. That's because bone loss is caused by too much protein and sugar intake, like the protein whey and the sugar lactose in dairy. Science magazine called dietary protein the most important contributor to osteoporosis in 1986. The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition in 1995 explained that "dietary protein increases production of acid in the blood which can be neutralized by calcium mobilized from the skeleton." A study in the Journal of Nutrition in 1981 found that doubling your protein intake doubled you calcium loss. And a 1979 study in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition found that even someone getting 1400 mg. of calcium daily can lose up to 4% of their bone mass each year on a high-protein diet. The key is not to keep drinking milk for the calcium (getting more and more protein all the while) but to reduce the excess protein in your diet so that the body has no need to leach calcium from the bones, weakening them. If you want to have healthy strong bones stop eating protein from animals and start eating alkaline antioxidants to buffer dietary and metabolic acids, such as avocado and broccoli which have a high concentration of glutathione - the master antioxidant and protector of bones.

Pasteurized Food Is A Tragedy 2009-11-02T14:19:28.889+05:30 Research has suggested "too much protein" can cause bone loss. It is not the quantity of the protein, but the quality of the protein - whether it has been heated or pasteurized or not. To fully understand the language used in the nature of matter and fermentation is, of course, to understand the microzymian theory and how the Pasteurian theorists have confused the issue and complicated the understanding.First, in the context of the research and writing of Antoine Bechamp, the fully living, indestructible microzyma, in its unaltered state, is part of its natural surrounding whether it is within a mineral or flesh state with all the measurable frequency and voltage of that substance. When consumed, the microzyma changes with its new environment to become a building block of another form. If it is not heated, the nitrogenous, protein packed microzyma will still have great energy and able to break down particular pieces of food into liquid globes still having organized electrical power within the long-chain molecular structure of the microzyma. In this state, the transformed substance enters the bloodstream to be easily organized into blood, and later, into body tissue. In the morbid Pasteurian context, the microzyma is only recognized in terms of microbes and enzymes. This is where the conceptual trouble begins. Pasteur coined the term microbe and was far from understanding the pleomorphism of matter as Bechamp did. Consequently, Pasteur has created the entire morbid microbe paradigm of heated, pasteurized, dairy products and nearly all other packaged foods. The pasteurization (heating) disorganizes the microzyma (the origin of organized matter) from its previous state, further releasing the frequency and voltage from the microzyma and releasing its enzymatic charged power. (Pasteur led the public to believe that enzymes were alive and dangerous and those microbes could be suppressed or killed by heat.) There is nothing so false that does not contain someelement of truth. And so it is with the Pasteurian Microbe or Germ Theory. The resulting Pasteurized "food" is a tragedy. Why? Because the food contains little power orlife force to self digest or breakdown from theinside out. This is true whether the food has nitrogenous material (dietary protein) within it or not which would further result in undigested food bits in the bloodstream(activating the immune system) and the terrible fermentation and putrefication of matter in the colon, thereby setting the stage for sickness and dis-ease. The key to health, energy and vitality is not in eating Pasteurized protein but eating like COWS - fresh, live,electron rich green foods that are high in chlorophyll,oxygen, alkaline water and mineral salts. All of thestrongest animals eat this way. The focus should be on the following foundationalfood groups: The Four Food Groups of the pH Miracle Diet - C = Chlorophyll - from green vegetables and grasses. New Research States that Vitamin K Prevents Calcifications - Warfarin Causes Calcifications in the Arteries 2009-11-02T14:19:01.459+05:30 A study has found vitamin K not only blocks new arterial calcium buildup but can also reduce existing levels of calcification by 37 percent.Researchers at Maastricht University published their findings in the April 1st issue of Blood, the journal of the American Society of Hematology. "Given that arterial calcifications are predictive of cardiovascular events, regression of arterial calcification may help reduce the risk of death in people with chronic kidney disease and coronary artery disease," wrote lead author Leon Schurgers. Schurgers and his co-workers fed 10-week old male Wistar Kyoto rats a diet containing the blood thinner warfarin to induce calcium buildup. The animals were then separated into four groups: the first group was given warfarin, and the other three groups were taken off the drug. The three groups of warfarin-free animals were given various doses of Vitamin K. The researchers reported that, in the normal dose Vitamin K group, arterial calcium levels continued to increase even after warfarin administration ended. "In contrast," the researchers wrote, "high-vitamin K intake (both K1 and K2) not only blocked the progress of further calcium accumulation but also lead to a greater than 37 percent reduction of previously accumulated arterial calcium precipitates within six weeks." These findings are especially relevant for people who take blood-thinning drugs, which are known to induce arterial calcification by inactivating a protein called matrix GLA, or MGP, a potent inhibitor of calcification. MGP requires vitamin K for activation. "The medical community now recognizes that vitamin K-dependent MGP plays an essential role in promoting cardiovascular health," said Schurgers, "Our study shows that in an animal model, vitamin K can actually regress preformed calcifications. The health implications for humans are significant." Vitamin K is found in many kinds of foods, including soybeans, olives, and oils, as well as in dark green vegetables, such as broccoli, kale, spinach and Brussels sprouts. "What's interesting about this study is that researchers actually used a common blood thinner drug in order to induce a calcium build up in the arteries," said Mike Adams, author of The 7 Laws of Nutrition. "This indicates quite clearly that medical researchers know the best way to cause calcification of arteries is to dose the subject with blood thinner drugs," Adams said. "At the same time, this potentially deadly side effect is not being fully explained to patients who are taking blood thinner drugs such as Coumadin." According to Dr. Robert O. Young, a research scientist, microbiologist, nutritionist and author of The pH Miraclebooks, has stated, "I have noted that every client with hypertension, using blood thinners, such as Coumadin, were able to normalize their blood pressure and pulse and discontinue their blood thinning drugs with a diet high in green foods and green drinks." The research states that the number 1 cause of preventable death is still due to tobacco, climbing to number 2 and soon to take over number 1 is poor diet and lack of physical activity, with number 3 alcohol consumption, number 4 motor vehicle crashes, 5, firearms, 6, sexual behaviors and 7 illicit drugs.The research further states, which is written up in the Journal of the American Medical Association that 400,000 deaths in 2000, or about 16.6% of total deaths were from poor diets and lack of exercise with 435,000 deaths or 18.1% of the total from tobacco, 85,000 deaths from alcohol consumption, 43,000 from motor vehicle accidents, 29,000 from sexual behaviors and finally 17,000 from illicit drugs.Julie Gerberding, Director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said, "Obesity is the overt manifestation" of poor diet and sedentary lifestyle, and it's a "preventable risk factor."Now, the most obvious seems to elude us.But for those who have read The pH Miracle, The pH Miracle for Diabetes, and The pH Miracle for Healthy Weight loss, understand that many if not all deaths are preventable and are caused by an over-acidification of the blood and tissues due to an inverted way of living, eating, drinking and thinking.I believe that the list of preventable diseases should also include heart disease, all cancers, AIDS, MS, and diabetes -- just to name a few. It was found that the risk of a stroke is considered high within the first five years of treatment for Type 2 diabetes and more than doubles the rate of occurrence.Why? Because the treatments for diabetes are focused on the acidic effects (high or low blood sugar) that causes the symptoms of diabetes rather then the cause which are the acidic lifestyle and diet choices. For this study, the researchers entered 12,272 subjects into a Type 2 diabetes cohort. All subjects were recently diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes and had a mean age of 64 years. After five years of monitoring, stroke incidence rates were compared between the cohort and the general population. "What we found is that 9.1 percent of the diabetes cohort had a stroke within the first five years of their diagnosis," Dr. Thomas Jeerakathil, an assistant professor in neurology, at the University of Alberta. "We also found that compared to persons from the general population of a similar age, the relative risk for stroke was much greater in younger persons with diabetes than for older persons. As it has been more common to study stroke prevalence within 10 years after diagnosis, this is the first study to specifically examine stroke-related outcomes immediately after the diagnosis of and initiation of treatment for Type 2 diabetes. Jeerakathil indicates it is possible that physicians are undertreating stroke risks because of a prevailing attitude among physicians and patients that the cardiovascular complications of diabetes occur long after diagnosis rather than in the first five years. The Acidic Effects of Antibiotics 2009-11-02T14:14:32.407+05:30 New research indicates that children who receive acids from yeast and mold called antibiotics before their first birthday are significantly more likely to develop asthma by age 7.The study, published in the June issue of CHEST, the peer-reviewed journal of the American College of Chest Physicians (ACCP), reports that children receiving acidic antibiotics in the first year of life were at greater risk for developing asthma by age 7 than those not receiving acidic antibiotics.The risk for asthma doubled in children receiving acidic antibiotics for nonrespiratory outfections, as well as in children who received multiple acidic antibiotic courses and who did not live with a dog during the first year."Antibiotics are prescribed mostly for respiratory tract infections, yet respiratory symptoms can be a sign of future asthma. This may make it difficult to attribute antibiotic use to asthma development," said lead study author Anita Kozyrskyj, PhD, University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, MB. An Email Concerning The Controversy Over Soy 2009-11-02T14:13:55.496+05:30 Hello AnaI was especilly busy today as I prepare for a trip, and I asked one of our microscopists, a hospital med tech in Pennsylvania, to help me in preparing a response to your questions. According to the pH Miracle Program, the best soy product is soy sprouts. These young plants have alot of life energy and one of the reasons for the pH Miracle program is to give our body energy instead of robbing the energy from the reserves we have when we are consuming the acidic foods. There has been much controversy about soy and I understand it to be due to the GMO (genetically modified organism). The purity of the soybean altered will create an unnatural substance and when we are eating this, we are not able to break it down naturally. Species that have been fed a diet of GMO foods were unable to reproduce themselves after a few generations. The fact that girls and boys are maturing earlier can be attributed to the hormones injected into the animals, stored in their fat, and then our children are eating these animal products. The compounds in soy do not cause cancer; cancer is an acidic liquid. The fact that the hormones are not balanced when we consume too much of one hormone can be attributed to the acidic residue from these hormones that are not being eliminated. So, "how much is too much," takes us to the 80/20 rule. Maintain a diet of 80% alkalinity and you will be following the program. Gastric ByPass Increases Alcohol's Effect 2009-11-02T14:11:50.516+05:30 Those who undergo gastric bypass surgery may find they get drunk faster and sober up slower.According to Dr. Robert O. Young, the reason is that bypass surgery bypasses the stomach, which is the major place where sodium bicarbonate is manufactured and released to buffer and neutralize the alcohol found. If you're bypassing the stomach, you're bypassing most of the ability to buffer the alcohol with the sodium bicarbonate released from the stomach lining. After discussing bariatric surgery on "Oprah" and being overwhelmed with questions about how the weight-loss surgery affected the ability to drink alcohol, Dr. John Morton, director of bariatric surgery at Stanford Hospitals and Clinics decided to do his own research. He studied 19 people who had undergone gastric bypass surgery at least one year before, and 17 control subjects. Each volunteer was asked to drink five ounces of red wine. They then had their alcohol levels tested by alcohol breath analysis every five minutes until their levels reached zero. The alcohol levels of gastric bypass patients peaked at 0.08 percent compared to 0.05 percent for the controls. Some states consider drivers to be intoxicated at 0.08. It took gastric bypass patients an average of 108 minutes to get to zero while the controls took only 72 minutes. "The alcohol peaked higher and stayed around longer," Morton said. In addition, the bypass patients reported the same level of symptoms as the controls, even though their alcohol levels were higher." This led us to think that some patients may have high breath alcohol levels and not be aware of it," Morton said. " One drink may be too much, especially if you are going to have a drink and drive. "This is something patients have to be aware of," he said. "The bottom line is alcohol use after gastric bypass should be used with caution, and certainly patients shouldn't have even a single drink and drive." Dr. Young suggests taking 1 scoop of pHour saltsin 3 to 4 ounces of water to buffer any acid,including alcohol. Pomegranates Protect Against Atherosclerosis 2009-11-02T14:08:51.722+05:30 Researchers have revealed that pomegranates may provide important health benefits for diabetic patients.According to results published in the August 2006 issue of Atherosclerosis, subjects who drank 180 ml (6 oz.) of pomegranate juice per day for three months experienced a reduced risk for atherosclerosis, a condition that leads to arterial wall thickening and hardening. The researchers also found that drinking pomegranate juice reduced the uptake of oxidized LDL (“bad” cholesterol) by large, versatile immune cells known as macrophages. Oxidized LDL uptake by macrophages is a main contributing factor to the development of atherosclerosis. One surprising finding, said lead researcher Professor Michael Aviram of the Technion Faculty of Medicine, was that the sugars contained in pomegranate juice – although similar in content to those found in other fruit juices – did not worsen diabetes disease parameters (including blood sugar levels) in the patients, but in fact reduced the risk for atherosclerosis. “In most juices, sugars are present in free – and harmful – forms,” explained Aviram. “In pomegranate juice, however, the sugars are attached to unique antioxidants, which actually make these sugars protective against atherosclerosis.” The findings of this small (20 subjects) study are part of Aviram’s ongoing research into the effects of pomegranates on cholesterol oxidation and cardiovascular diseases. Exposure to additional solvents yielded polyphenol-rich fractions ('polyphenols') from each of the three components. Their actions, and of the crude whole oil and crude fermented and unfermented juice concentrate, were assessed in vitro for possible chemopreventive or adjuvant therapeutic potential in human breast cancer. The ability to effect a blockade of endogenous active estrogen biosynthesis was shown by polyphenols from fermented juice, pericarp, and oil, which inhibited aromatase activity by 60-80%. Fermented juice and pericarp polyphenols, and whole seed oil, inhibited 17-beta-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase Type 1 from 34 to 79%, at concentrations ranging from 100 to 1,000 microg/ml according to seed oil >> fermented juice polyphenols > pericarp polyphenols. In both MCF-7 and MB-MDA-231 cells, fermented pomegranate juice polyphenols consistently showed about twice the anti-proliferative effect as fresh pomegranate juice polyphenols. Pomegranate seed oil effected 90% inhibition of proliferation of MCF-7 at 100 microg/ml medium, 75% inhibition of invasion of MCF-7 across a Matrigel membrane at 10 microg/ml, and 54% apoptosis in MDA-MB-435 estrogen receptor negative metastatic human breast cancer cells at 50 microg/ml. In a murine mammary gland organ culture, fermented juice polyphenols effected 47% inhibition of cancerous lesion formation induced by the carcinogen 7,12-dimethylbenz[a]anthracene (DMBA). The findings suggest that clinical trials to further assess chemopreventive and adjuvant therapeutic applications of pomegranate in human breast cancer may be warranted.
