Geopicks is a system of hardware, software and procedures to project and collect cultural content including, search engine manipulation,Data analysis,3D modeling, representation and display of geocoded referenced data to solve complex problems regarding planning and management of cultural content.
I built this system to protect the cultural content along the Confederation Trail.

I also worked with Robert Trainor Vise President of the Atlantic Regional Council and Prince Edward Island Director 2004- 2008

Projects were intended to be in Multi media formats and developed for use in schools and Heritage sites across Canada.

The goal was to promote the Prince Edward Island Railway as a content pool of Data . This cultural content would be used for Future Generation curriculum's 3D dispalys and Internet .

Creating marketing and learning tools used to collect and project cultural content.

GPS Triggers

2009-01-30T06:45:16.368-08:00

Delivers GPS Tours in multiple languages and/or Content Packets and community topics simultaneously. Like satellite TV or radio, “which is a digital Radio signal that is broadcast by T.R.I.P satellite.”

Our GPS Tours are GPS Stations set up in communities such as SIRIUS and XM Radio. We rely on satellites to deliver content (streaming audio) to our T.R.I.P Tour Systems direct to Moving WIFI and handheld cell phones and radio's

To ensure delivery consistency (on time,In Place every-time) we use Global Positioning System (GPS) Sat-Tech with specific vehicle or vessel location cultural content only. What this means is, our GPS Tour System is simply tracking the location of vehicles and vessels in real-time. Based on the location of vehicles and vessels, AudioConexus “triggers” audio to play when a vehicle or vessel passes through Points of Interest (”POI”s), also called ”GPS trigger” points.

T.R.I.P collects this GPS-trigger data . GPS triggers are created by capturing the longitude and latitude location of any Point Of Interest along any route, anywhere.
In our case we are tracking railway routes first on Prince Edward island and anywhere in the world. We creating a real experience for travelers using technology anywhere.

Nitrates in Drinking Water

Nitrates in Drinking Water: "NITRATES IN DRINKING WATER
Although low levels of nitrates may occur naturally in water, sometimes higher levels, which are potentially dangerous to infants, are found. Illinois has adopted a drinking water standard for nitrate of 10 milligrams per liter (10 mg/l) as N (nitrogen). This standard is mandatory for public water supplies and is used as a guide for private water supplies. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency also uses 10 mg/l as N as a mandatory national standard for public supplies under the Safe Drinking Water Act. The 10 mg/l standard expressed as nitrogen (N) is equivalent to 45 mg/l expressed as nitrate."

New Economy

Robert Paterson's Radio Weblog: "the Internet is primarily a collaboration and communication platform rather than a marketplace aimed at co-ordinating exchanges of goods and services. Hence, it should come as no surprise that B2B e-marketplaces, which are geared toward communication and collaboration and aim at co-ordinating supply chains, are far more successful than B2C/e-tailing ventures that initially dismissed the inherently collaborative character of the Internet. And this is also reflected in the success of those early pioneers who have managed to stay afloat despite the current economic downturn."

Tourists travelling with a hand-held GPS or GPS navigation system in their car can enter the coordinates and be given directions to the place of interest.

The GPS coordinates appear below the toll-free number for a listing, and above their email address. For more information, please visit our website at www.gentleisland.com."

NITRATE COMMISSION REPORT PROVIDED TO ISLANDERS

CHARLOTTETOWN, PEI -- The final report of the Commission on Nitrates in Groundwater was presented to Premier Robert Ghiz yesterday.
“I am very pleased to have received the report,” said Premier Ghiz. “Protecting our water quality is a top priority for all Islanders, and this report provides clear direction to Government on the issues we are facing and the measures that can be taken to address them.”
The report was presented to Cabinet today. It is now available on the government website at www.gov.pe.ca/go/CommissiononNitratesReport .
“We heard from many Islanders and many technical experts about the current status of nitrates in our groundwater,” Commission Chair Armand DesRoches said. “Our report is based on the understanding that the build-up of nitrates in our surface and groundwater did not take place overnight. The solution will also take a long-term effort, and all Islanders must participate in the solution.”
Premier Ghiz said the Commission deserves a great deal of public thanks for its hard work and commitment.
“I want to thank each of these individuals for taking on this important task,

Richard I want to update you as to the progress I am having with the heritage project that the CN pensioners are on the verge of missing out on.
Richard there were 125 submission made to the Heritage Canada Partnership fund.
Out of one hundred and twenty five projects that were submitted from across the country.
The pensioners was selected based upon it merits and ability to educate young people on the cultural connections and contribution made by rail way workers on PEI And their link to confederation.
The story is rich with opportunity for the pensioners to achieve their goal to preserve the rich legacy of railway work on Prince Edward Island.
In order to be successful and to secure this funding which is substantial.A federal contribution 322,000.00 for the development of a Canada wide web site that will create a national profile of the contribution and the collection of Railway artifacts and the stories of railway workers on Prince Edward Island and the provincial capitals from eash province at the time of Confederation.
