Thu, 01 May 2014 11:45:57 +00002014-05-01T11:45:57Z

(image) Cinco de Mayo, Atlanta's favorite excuse to eat guacamole, is Monday - so you know that means a party all weekend long! • The artists market has a more eclectic mix than you'll find at many other festivals, and the prices tend to be more reasonable (at some booths), too.
  • If you are going to do a tour of homes, you may as well tour some of Atlanta's most beautiful Victorians - which you'll find, of course, in Inman Park.
  • It has super easy Marta access (and trust me, you'll want to use it if you can. Parking is difficult).

(image) Looking for a something fun to do in Atlanta that's both fairly affordable and a little off the beaten path? Why not spend an evening with the Atlanta Rollergirls? The girls are currently in the midst of their 2014 season, which runs from February through August. If you've never experiences roller derby, you're in for a rowdy, fun evening. These tough ladies compete in a very physical, fun to watch, sometimes cringe-worthy competition that's got spunk like no other sport.
