Great idea! I'm a Biz girl myself. My washer runs a full cycle if I forget to return and open the lid when I put items in to soak--with the bucket method this won't be an issue! Thanks :)

With boys this is something I should have on hand. I will give it a try. Thanks for the tip!

Great tip and just in time! After reading your tip, I just pulled a newborn sleeper out of the garbage that is covered in the infamous "newborn poop". I went through three (THREE!) diapers this morning trying to change my darling boy and I was sure that his sleeper was a casuality in the war. I'll try this tip today!

Love your blog :)

Oh Connie, you are so very smart. I'm going to pick up some next time I'm at the commissary. Too bad I can't throw my living room rug in the bucket. I'll just have to rearrange the furniture I guess.

What a great tip! I'm sure that would work better than my method of just throwing some oxiclean into the washer before starting the wash.

I went and hugged my 'biz bucket' when I read what works for you. Me and my bucket we're like this (fingers crossed to signify closeness) Thanks for sharing MY favorite stain tip :0)

ymwifey,

Try rubbing the stain down with ice cubes first and then soaking it as Connie sugggested. It should come right out

Great tip. I wish I had a laundary room, my washer is located in the kitchen. Will have to think of way to do this.

Question please! :D My hubby has a small blood stain on his shirt sleeve. I'm a dork and forgot about it yesterday so it has set (grr!) but I was wondering what would be the best way to get it out? It's one of his newer and much nicer dress shirts so I don't want that stain to stay (AT ALL!) even if it isn't going to be very noticeable. I do have some stain remover but I was wondering if anything

Great idea! I usually just spray everything with Shout and that works, but it takes forever! I'll have to try this. Thanks for the tip. I read your blog all the time by-the-way- thanks for the interesting and sometimes profound reading.

Oh, that's fabulous! I started doing that when I had my daughter...I thought I was just lazy, but it always worked! Oxyclean is so gentle, I could even use it on her christening gown. For REALLY tough stains, I rub it down with a stain stick first. The only thing to watch out for is if the stain still has...umm...lots of gunk attached to it, it can change the colour of your oxyclean water...which

great tip. i do love that oxiclean stuff.
